Heatherclan is not as united as it used to be so long ago, before the great divide. Instead, they live separated, living different lifestyles. Long ago they were separated into three groups, Alley Cats, Wild Cats, and Peace Lovers. Alley Cats live in a port city, among the “Upwalkers.” They have plentiful hunting and easy access to food, as there are a lot of mice and rats running around the town due to all of the cargo shipments and food crates. The cats who live in the “Alley Cat Group” are the ones who chose the life with plentiful prey with the risk of Upwalkers. Then there is the group that chose to live in the rainforest to the right of the port city the Alley Cats live in, taking the risk of dangerous predators for shelter from Upwalkers. This group is called the “Wild Cats,” they have plenty of prey if you know where to find it. There may be quite a few predators for them, but as long as there are no Upwalkers, they believe their life is just fine. The last group is called the “Peace Lovers.” This group made their home in a tunnel system they created out of old rabbit holes and nearby fox dens. Their home is right next to the shore of the bay, making their main source of prey fish. They don’t have any predators really, their problem mostly being storms, but over the moons they’ve found a way to shield their home. They just binded some bark together with some vines to create makeshift covers for the entrances to their tunnels.
Each group has a section leader, who is in charge of their respective group, their authority only surpassed by the one named “The Empress.” The Empress is the leader of all of Heatherclan, she rules over and travels between every group. The Empress has only been a female cat before, she passes her succession to a cat she trusts to be the new Empress when she is ready to retire, teaching this cat all she knows before her retirement. Her job is to manage all three groups in Heatherclan, keeping them somewhat connected to each other and in line, enforcing the rules.
All three sections of Heatherclan gather in a meeting every ten moons, the leaders of each group deciding who gets to go. They gather in the heart of the Wild Cats territory, in a spot set apart for meetings, the Wild Cats help guide the others through their slightly dangerous territory.
Thread Rules:
-When you post, please include the cat’s name, group, rank, and place they are in.
-You must be active! At least two posts every two weeks please!
-If you’re chosen to go to a meeting, please make at least one post while there!
-To graduate from being an apprentice, you must make at least three training posts with your mentor, and know the basics of the territory.
-The Empress should make frequent posts, if you aren’t active when being her, then you may have the chance of losing the position. She’s a very important character! ^^

Main Clan Rules:
-The meetings every ten moons should be peaceful, with the Empress attending to overview each one.
-To abandon your group is to cause dishonor on yourself and others in which you’ve known.
-If a Section Leader makes a decision in their power as leader of their group, their decision can only be overruled by the Empress or both of the other Section Leaders.
-If you are exiled, you can only return if you once again prove yourself fully in the Trials of Fire and Fury.
The trials of Fire and Fury are a way to prove your full strength to all of Heatherclan, it is an act of bravery. Usually, it is done to prove to a Section Leader that you are worthy of doing something, such as a quest or even rejoining after exile.
The Trials of Fire and Fury are made up of several challenges, in this order:
-The challenge of witt
-The challenge of strength
-The challenge of integrity
-The challenge of empathy
-The challenge of perseverance
-The challenge of bravery
-The test of loyalty
For each challenge, the Section Leader overseeing your trials will create their own task to test you individually for each category.
Alley Cat’s Camp Description- The Alley Cats are usually quite free-ranged, roaming around the port town they call home. But their camp is like a treasure trove, its location in an alleyway. The entrance being an inconspicuous pile of barrels, inside you’ll see a tunnel leading downward. The tunnel is decorated with brightly colored fabrics and the occasional interesting Upwalker object embedded in the wall. As you come out of the tunnel, you’ll find yourself in a large attic-like room, long forgotten by the Upwalkers who must’ve built it. Inside there are designated areas for kits, queens, warriors, explorers, tinkerers, and other cats to sleep, the beds made of soft fabric and seagull feathers. There is a window of which you can survey the town on the left side of the wall, and a worn carpeting on the floor made of dead trees. It is a warm and cozy place, perfect for them to call home.
Wild Cat’s Camp Description- Deep in the jungle’s depths, lies the Wild Cat’s camp. Their camp is a bit unusual though, for there are many predators on both the ground and in the trees. As a solution, they weaved a ceiling out of vines and draped it over a large cluster of bushes, creating one very large den for everyone to sleep soundly in. Inside the den, everyone sleeps together, as there is safety in numbers. Soft moss grows on the ground and fireflies have been known to wander in from time to time. As an extra precaution, thorns were strewn about the vine woven outer shield to make sure predators would have a hard time getting in.
Peace Lover’s Camp Description- By the shore, there are a few rocky entrances to the Peace Lover’s camp, the tunnels running deep. If you were to go inside as an unfamiliar cat, then you’d get lost almost instantly in the intricate tunnel systems, unless you grew up there you won’t know your way. Every room is connected to another and each one has a purpose. Sleeping chambers aren’t separated by roles, instead leaning more to the categorization of family groups. Inside it is a warmer temperature usually then the outside, usually being quite humid as well. Individuals have decorated different parts of their camp how they pleased, making the decor quite different and sometimes clashing. It’s peaceful though, the sound of kits playing around throughout the tunnels, you can imagine a game of hide-and-seek takes a while to end.
Wild Cats~
-When you travel away from camp you must have no less than two others with you.
-The Section Leader must be informed of any new threats in the area.
-Kits will not be allowed out of camp without the accompaniment of an adult and permission from the Section Leader.
-When hunting, you must be in a patrol, at least one of the cats with you should be on lookout for predators while the others hunt.
-Sick cats must be quarantined in the separate den until three sunsets after they’re better.
Alley Cats~
-To live with an Upwalker is to become an Exiled.
-During festivals, kits and younger apprentices are not to leave the den, they could be injured in the chaos or get lost.
-To take part in a heist, a cat must be a full grown adult or be accompanied by one if they are; in case, an apprentice.
-Kits are only allowed outside of the den if they are with an adult and it is not the day of a festival.
-Explorers must be back from hunting (or conning) before sundown, no after-hours expeditions unless explicit permission was granted from the Section Leader.
Peace Lovers~
-Kits are not allowed to leave the tunnels unaccompanied by their guardian.
-When a storm is soon to hit, only adults are permitted to prepare the shields. It is much too dangerous to have a kit or apprentice outside, for they could get swept away.
-It is mandatory for all apprentices to learn how to fish off the shoreline.
-New members of the group should immediately be taught how to traverse the tunnels, given accompaniment until they know them well.

Bloodstone is a rude and hot-headed she-cat. She is quick to declare battle and will not retreat from any challenge. She was raised to be a leader, not a follower by her abusive stepfather. She will tear you and your loved ones apart if she finds out you have anything to do with her clan.
Despite being all this meanness and rude, she has a soft side. She's pretty shy. Doesn't like areas filled with people. When she's faced with a situation she isn't trained for, she freaks out and puts some of her clanmates in the heat of it. She'll still step up if she has to, but overall she thinks she wasn't cut out for this at all.

I'll wait to see if others apply to be Empress, to give others a chance, but either way she's accepted! (That just decides if she's the Empress or not)
I'm currently still on the lookout for high ranks everyone! There are plenty of high ranks open, so there are a lot of options! I'll keep the Empress open for applications until I get two more applications or it's two days later, whichever comes first! Ty!
