[OPEN] Flower Fields And Friendly Faces
The blind tortie let out a huff, wandering through the tall grass. The birds sung, the warmth of the sun welcomed by most creatures. The tom, however, hates the noise. The sunshine felt like a hot iron, burning into his back as he nosed his way through nature's obstacles, green stems taller than him. The loner's face was tattered with scars, the white fur dirtied by mud, easily mistaken as brown tortieshell markings.
Shade was what he sought. The merciful dark of shade, protecting the aged feline from the glaring, feverous torridity. He seemed to be surrounded by tall weeds, a meadow of flowers that smelled sickly sweet, and prickling thorns and burrs, never-ending. He longed for the safeguard against the intolerable heat. He was old. Weak against nature's threats, trying to tear him down. And without notice, the tom laid to rest on the ground, hopes vanished. Maybe someone or something would pass to help. Until then, he'd wait wishfully for nightfall.

Quiet-Tide had been padding through the tall grass, sniffing the air for prey. But the small she-cat stopped when she caught the scent of another cat. Her brown ears strained as she shuffled on her white paws. She padded closer, following the scent. She wasn't watching where she was stepping, and almost stepped on the tom. " Eeep! " she squeaked, narrowly avoiding him. She stared at him, her eyes traveling over his scars.

@ Twilight Moon
He had been lying in the long grass, the sun watching as he suffered from the heat. His old age made him more sensitive to these things. He had been waiting. Watching his surroundings, eyes narrowed, trying to see through the bright light of the sun.
And then a noise. A weird, high-pitched whine made the rouge turn his head towards another cat. He le out a low growl, scarred tail starting to flick back and forth in agitation. This was his home, though it did seem he was defenceless. He watched the molly's eyes stare at all his scars that covered his face, that covered his body.
Maybe she would do. With a grunt, he indicated at the shade by the trees not far away. "Help me over there, will you?"

Ebony
They padded lightly through the grass, enjoying the sunlight they were getting, they heard faint chatter in the distance, which made them freeze, with a small but deep breath they stealthily
approached the area in which the talking was heard.
[Ebony is a non-binary tuxedo adolescent with dark eyes]
