[ThunderClan] Search and Rescue Patrols

Calling all missing ThunderClan kits and apprentices!

If you meet the following qualifications, you may be entitled to a Search and Rescue patrol!

• Aged 8 moons or younger
  
  
• Has been missing for less than 2 moons (60 days IRL; this is based on the date you were notified they were missing)
  
  
• Your cat is not believed to be dead (your cat can be found dead though!)
  
  
• Provided the above is met, if your cat is a frequent flyer for this their position in the Clan may be re-evaluated for being a dummy <3

How This Works

Traditional rejoinings require your cat to explain themselves, but this overrides that in favor of roleplaying out a situation your cat has found themselves in. These situations will usually be dangerous - think predators, falling into a hole or something fell on them, etc - and your cat will be tracked down and saved. We will not force you to come up with the reason and will work together to determine the prompt that makes the most sense!

Depending on the amount of applicants, missing cats may be put into a group roleplay and be rescued together.

Once the prompt has been decided, a Hornet + 1 other cat will start the search and find some signs leading to the missing cat's discovery. As long as your character isn't a threat to ThunderClan, the Hornet has the authority to accept them back into the Clan, and the allegiances will be updated with the roleplay's conclusion.

Non-Hornets on the patrols will ideally be picked from folks who opt-in below, but if we don't have many volunteers we may pluck cats from the allegiances at random. Note: if your cat is an apprentice, they need battle training to be included!

bean, would you prefer the burrow or the log? either works but the log would cause lasting leg damage // depending on how it impacts him, the meds might have to try amputating (which could lead to infection / death / all that fun stuff!)

just wanted to know for my post since i don't want to force a permanent injury if you'd rather not go that route LMAO

Do you have any ideas on why they went missing?: This troublesome tom? Oh, he's a bundle of chaos. He decided to go on a little mission to recover something he'd seen in the outskirts during a patrol and may or may not have gotten himself trapped in a collapsed tunnel! Yeah, send him some help plz... his voice will be muffled slightly but he's very loud anyway lol and he's good at being resourceful so he'd be eating all the worms and moles that enter the tunnel in an attempt to survive. He might get stuck halfway through the tunnel or something but preferably he's trapped in the collapsed tunnel with a shiny coin belonging to a twoleg as its bus fare and basically he's stealing it from the twoleg because its shiny.
