Thoughts on Generative A.I
i know this is my 4th thread this week but guys i cant stop im on a roll lmao
likewise, back to the actual topic. what are your thoughts on generative ai?
to define it simply, generative ai is the kind that is infamous for making "art" passages of test, cooking recipes, etc., and the infamous google gemini answers that pop up anytime i try searching something. there are probably better ways to words this but im lazy so oh well
as for my thoughts, im not a fan. it pisses me off especially when large multi-million dollar companies use it when they can sure as hell manage to pay an artist for once. i do believe though that ai can be used for good (maybe not generative ai) and though it can be used as a tool, its honestly gone too far.
in short im tired of seeing ai generated slop on my home feed and google searches
