Hello members of WCO! This has been a long time coming (whoops, sorry guys), and on behalf of the Covenant of the Sky, I am here to announce some new changes that can now be put into effect in the afterlife. I'd buckle up if I were you, because there are quite a few changes, and we're all for encouraging roleplay.

• Spiritual Encounter Buff/Debuff
Let's look at this Purrk, shall we? "That's not normal! Your cat briefly runs into a spirit in the waking world and is able to communicate with them. The spirit can only appear in two posts before they disappear." From here on out, the Spiritual Encounter Purrk allows Dark Forest cats to have 1 additional post. Hence, Dark Forest cats are able to appear for 3 posts, and StarClanners for the regular 2.

• 1 Res/Rein "Yes" Guaranteed
Back in November, we enacted a 1 automatic yes rule on all reincarnations and resurrections, and that is still going on! What does this mean? Your character can face the council, and they only need to receive one upvote of three to proceed to their new life. You can see more information on the automatic yes here.

• Leadership Vacuum: All Hail Magpiewisp?
After all the trouble with the broken barrier, Brokenstar has successfully managed to seal it, but at a cost: himself. The former ruler of the Wardens has disappeared, leaving a vacancy in the ranks that our Dark Foresters are hungry to fill. Without someone to keep them in check, three Dark Forest Wardens can be spotted at the same time in both reincarnations and resurrections.

• Weakening Stars
Three StarClan Wardens are unable to appear at the same time in Res/Rein roleplays - they are lucky to even receive one spot - and it is usually them who are forced to say yes regardless of what they feel. Why? Only three of nine StarClan wardens truly remain active and around to do Covenant duties. This folly has returned to make them suffer the consequences. StarClan is struggling to dream visit, or in some cases cannot even connect to dreams.

• Collapse of the Starcave
As announced in the January gathering by the RiverClan High Ranks, the primary Starcave entrance has collapsed, sealing it from the outside world. With the StarCave cut off, the Clans must find an answer to reach it once more... or be forced to have their leaders not be granted lives.

• Extra Tidbits
+ A new place has been added - Spirits Rest - a meeting place for the Warden characters! It is not a public roleplay thread.
+ Stuck! Ever since the border barrier went down again, there have been Dark Forest cats terrorizing those in StarClan, and StarClan cats stuck in the Dark Forest! The only way for them to get back to their side is to get killed... and I don't think anyone would want to go through that. So they're, well, you guessed it; trapped! [You are allowed to roleplay your characters stuck on either side, but beware they may be hunted down and sent back home].

How did this escalate quickly-

Hopefully there might be a way to solve the starcave issue, or else chaos will reign over the forest

For anyone curious to an example about how the connection between starclan and the living is struggling. A starclan cat tried to pass on a prophecy to windclan recently and it went poorly.

The dream being shredded mid dream, being unable to connect at all, struggling to maintain a dream, its all possible with the starcave being down! Have fun!
