Egretfeather padded over to the apprentice's den, waiting for Riverpaw to walk out. He had asked her to meet him outside the other day, so hopefully, she would remember. This was his first apprentice, and so he didn't want to mess this up. It needed to be a good experience for both of them.

Riverpaw quickly runs out of the den, excited to meet Egretfeather,she tells herself as she runs out," This is going to be great!"she looks around outside of the den and spots Egretfeather. "HIIII!"

Egretfeather winced slightly at the appretince's bright and cheery tone. He was too tired for this. Anyways, he had an apprentice to train.

"Border tour. Follow," he said, very obviously grumpy. He started towards Sedgewater Valley.

Riverpaw excitedly follows Egretfeather skipping around joyfully. She trips on a rock and falls flat onto the grass but stands up quickly with a smile.she looks around at the scenery and yelps,"How has your day been???"

Oh gods, they gave him a talkative one... Egretfeather took a deep breath and decided to ignore the apprentice. After a while, the two made it to Sedgewater Valley.

"Here. Winclan border there," he pointed with his tail to the cliffs, wanting the apprentice to see the rolling moores on the other side. The forest on their side was thick, but maybe she was smart enough to look that far.

"Cliffs are dangerous, and so are the rapids. Be careful. Questions?"

Riverpaw gasped," This place is Beautiful!". She looks at the border for windclan and then to the cliffs, so many places left to explore. Riverpaw looks at all of the beautiful things that surround her.

" Only one question" she replies," How many clan borders are there?"

"We have 3: WindClan, ThunderClan, and ShadowClan. ThunderClan next." They set off, hoping the apprentice had enough smarts to follow behind. They didn't want to get in trouble for leaving an apprentice behind. Egretfeather kept at a light jog, wanting the cool air to help wake him up.

He was careful not to go too fast; he needed the apprentice to keep up, but he wasn't going to walk because of that.

Riverpas excitedly says"3 CLANS?! THIS IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!!!" she starts to hop beside of Egretfeather and notices the tired expression. " You look like you need some cheering up!" Her smile widening slightly." Don't worry I can help with that!"

Riverpaw continues to hop until she hears a pop noise, She jumps in terror at the sight." WHAT WAS THAT!" she looks behind her and sees a snapped twig and she gasps for air," It was just a twig, I totally wasn't afraid" she cheers herself up.

Dear lord... It was worse than he thought... Maybe with lots of training, she could be a capable warrior. Maybe.

The warrior slowed to a stop as they approached the ThunderClan border.

"ThunderClan border. They climb trees, so their territory is forested. On our side, we have water plants."

They paused for questions, prepared to answer any stupid questions.

"I love it so much!" Riverpaw say in admiration. She looks at the border of Thunderclan.

" I actually don't have questions here" She says trying to be less annoying.
