Make sure to congratulate Versailles on their promotion from c-mod in training to fully fledged chat moderator! They've worked very hard, and we can't wait to see where they go from here!
Runningbreeze hung her head sadly "I'll come. I didn't know her well, but I heard of all the great things she did for the clan. I only wish I could have gotten to know her. We will miss her immensely."

I'm crazy, and a kitty, and cool ;D

Elm' Kit looked up at eagle' kit " Oh! Hi" he stared at the leaf that was no was smashed and he whispered to the leaf " Your now defeated" He purred a bit and sat up " Im Elm'kit " He smiled ( He has a crooked jaw so crooked smile)
Such a curious kit, so many questions, and very good ones at that.
Dimhazel tilts their head as they thought. It had actually been awhile since they were an apprentice, but they didn't remember it being too terribly difficult, actually. They'd quickly grapsed the training that was required once it was explained to them, but they supposed they could see why some might think it difficult. Had they not had the lovely mentor they'd be assigned to, things would have been much more difficult for them. "Not terribly so. The training is simple to grasp, I found, but everyone is different. It would also depend on your mentor, but overall, I don't believe you should have too many troubles when you become an apprentice yourself. You have quite a bright mind, no doubt you'll catch on."
They took a moment to think about her other question. Although they have seen apprentices participate in real battles, they were almost always much older and more skilled. They'd never seen a fresh faced apprentice be knowingly sent to fight. "Only ever the much older apprentices, but at their request usually. A fresh apprentice would be a hindrance in battle and not worth risking the loss. You do not have to worry about being sent before you are ready."
When no more questions came, they glanced away and back at Pondkit to force their attention to stay focused on the conversation in case she had anymore questions. "Anything else you would like to ask? You are not intruding, so do not feel that you must hold back."
-->Pondkit<--
The small molly listened with excitement. She wanted to know all about being an apprentice and what all she needs to do to become a warrior. She wanted to be the best one there ever was. Far better than the leader herself. "So what kind of Hunting do we learn Do Thunderclan cats really climb trees and Catch squirrels?", she asked. She could go on for as long as she can. She just loves to ask questions. She was just a curious kitten.
Pondkit was relieved to hear that she wouldn't have to go into battle anytime soon. It sounded really scary, but if it came to it when she had some experience she would fight for her clan. "Oh that's good. I don't think I'd like to be in a battle. Some warriors say it makes them feel more alive.", Pondkit responded. She let out a sigh.

Coming back only to get Barleypaw into warriorhood, but then I most likely will be leaving entirely. I've spend too much time on her to not have her be a warrior and I'd like to get her there.
@Shade. // ack, sorry if it's wonky! sick atm but,, wanted to get this out ;;w;;
A sigh of relief escaped from Lotuspaw, admittedly on the dramatic side but that was a side effect from their personality. They rolled their shoulders, allowing tension to wash off their back. "A, ah! Of course, of course. I'm glad you're.. still down with it, though. Even if you did do that stuff, I didn't wanna stomp on your freedom because oh my.. St..Starclan? I think that's what the big cats use these days, it's kinda weird. I mean, Starclan? Really, uh huh, " They huffed, shaking their head in dismissal.
"..I'm getting distracted, " Lotuspaw added after a realization, oops. "Wait what?" They sputtered out, copper eyes widening with realization. "A branch dID WHAT?" Okay, okay this is - this is exactly what they meant! "That... that is.. that is fine.. I mean, not fine that - that,, happened to you but,, you're here so.." The apprentice tried not to dwell on how many crisis situations Rosepaw was put in to. It made it all too weird.
Immediately after they registered what Rosepaw had said - the quiet guilt filled sentence their whole body went rigid. Lotuspaw retracted, as if physically burned by even the topic. "W..what?" They laughed nervously, large ears pulling back in discomfort. Maybe they just misunderstood.
"Rose.. you - no.. what - gosh no! Have -.." They sucked in a deep breath, it felt as if the ground was rumbling once more. "No.. no, never. Of course not, Rose. I mean if - if we're putting blame on someone then - I mean, " Slowly their eyes rose up from the ground, tears were beginning to well up but they weren't crying because big cats didn't cry!! "It would be my fault, you know. I mean she - she did that to.. " Ah jeez, this wasn't how they suspected this conversation to go.
It resulted in a weak shrug of Lotuspaw's shoulder, a heavy reminder laid onto their fur - forever scarred. "It's not your fault, Rose. Nothing is your fault, m'sorry if you've been thinkin' that.. the whole time, 'cuz it's - it's really wrong, y'know? 'N if you.. you been dealing with that all on your own.. then.. then.. m' really, really sorry.. those thoughts are just, just stupid, " They sniffled, glaring at Rosepaw sternly. There was no venom behind their expression, just worry. ...
How didn't they realize this?

sagekit sat near the entrance, wondering if he should try to bring some excitement into their life by talking to their siblings. actually, maybe being boring was the way to go...unless they could find a way to feel cool and not boring.
Rosepaw had learned of StarClan mostly by overhearing. She knew that's where the clan thought dead cats went. She wasn't immediately agreeing but wasn't denying it either. Considering her predicament, she wasn't ready to deny the supernatural. Maybe they knew what was wrong with her, after all.
She was a little concerned about the branch, though maybe not as concerned as she was about making a horrible impression in front of the deputy, who, if he learned his lesson, now knew her as the disaster generator she was.
Her stomach sank as she saw Lotuspaw's eyes well up. She hadn't meant to upset them. She wanted to react quickly and comfort them. However, the dark, jaded part of her just told her to do nothing. Of course she upset them, she was terrible at communication, just like everyone else. There was no point in trying. Lotuspaw's words kind of went past her ears. By now, she automatically tuned down any encouragement, dismissing it as good-natured lying. But when Lotuspaw admit to blaming themself, Rosepaw could help but reach her paws out and pull them into a hug.
"It's OK...It really wasn't your fault...and maybe it wasn't anyone's fault except for the monster...You didn't meant to...I...I should've just stayed away. I should...I should just stay away from everyone...I know I'm not doing it on purpose but...I also know it happens whether I like it or not and...I don't want to hurt anyone..." she said, trying not to sob like her sibling was. She pulled away from the hug and looked at their face. "Place don't feel responsible for us. Mom might be gone and it's not your fault but...you don't have to bear any sort of burden." she said. And me? I'm the biggest burden.
Cindersky
Another cloudy day, though Cindersky didn't mind. She much preferred the cold over hot greenleaf weather in any case. Not the prey shortage it caused, but if it was cold at least she could get warm by sharing tongues with her Clanmates; when it grew too hot, there wasn't much else to do other than lie around and wait for the sun to settle below the horizon. There was no rain though, and despite the freezing temperatures leaf-bare snowfall was still quite a ways off if the scent along the breeze was any indication. A perfectly mundane day, great for warming up ones muscles with a nice, brisk walk.
But who to bring? Certainly not her sister - the two still hadn't spoken since that fateful day in the forest. And since Cindersky hadn't been exiled yet, she assumed her sister hadn't breathed a word to Aspenstar or Dogbark. Maybe that was something the heather colored warrior could go on the offense of - after all, if she brought it up herself maybe then it wouldn't be such a huge bomb when her sister did inevitably decide to use it to blow up her life.
Spotting one half of ThunderClan's crown, Cindersky trotted over with a friendly smile and glittering blue eyes. "Dogbark, hello." The deputy was one of the older cats in the Clan, similar to her in age though he was still around ten moons her senior. Regardless, there was a certain level of respect she held for him - not just because of his position (which was well earned) but because of his age and experience. "Would you care to join me for a hunt?"
@Willowfern (if you need more information on her, her detailed page is here!)
The gray tom shrugged, “Sure, Cindersky,” He replied, his voice it’s usual growling tone, “I was just going to do that on my own, but we’ll probably catch more prey working together,” he stood, shaking out his pelt to keep the chill away, and trotted towards the entrance to camp.
He had to admit, despite usually preferring to hunt alone, the gray warrior enjoyed company from time to time, it kept life from getting too mundane.
Hopefully, though, his excelled rank in the clan wasn’t the driving reason for all these interactions, deep down, it bruised his pride whenever he learned that it was not his personality that kept someone close to him, but that it was just his seniority and status in ThunderClan.
Shaking away those thoughts, he turned to Cindersky once again, “Where to?”

Oh great. Rosepaw hated being responsible for things. Messing them up was much more impactful. She nodded solemnly and tried inspecting the roots. They seemed alright, didn't they? As she leaned in to smell the roots an acorn, likely knocked off by Dogbark's climbing, fell and bonked her hard on the head. "Ouch! T-They look fine! But thus acorn sure doesn't like me..."
Dogbark slid down the tree, careful not to fall on top of Rosepaw, or anywhere near her for that matter, as he figured she had had enough bad luck for the day. “The tree looks alright from above, I guess it was just that one branch,” He clapped his paws together to get off the leaf mold and bark, “What do you say? Do you think there’s enough time for me to take you for a quick lesson?”
He considered the sun, high in the sky, it would be a bit before it got too cold to train. ”Hm. Alright, Rosepaw, walk with me,” Not a question, an order, “What have you learned so far?”

Lionsmoke stared at the paw that had hit him on the chest, stifling a small round of laugher. He cast a worried look at Houndpaw. "Everything okay?" he questioned. He was not a terrible cat, although he made himself out to be one. They did care about other's well being, even if he didn't think he did. Maybe he was lying to himself. Who didn't lie to themself? Even if it was about something very minor.
He was definitely lying to himself.
Lion shook of the thought and a bright grin appeared on his face. "Great!" As he watched her lick down her fur, he suddenly felt slightly self conscious. He twisted his head back to look down at his fur. Okay, it was presentable. Good. "Today we're going to have your first hunting lesson," Lionsmoke meowed. "Would you rather do something else?"
Lionsmoke laughed. "To be honest, what cat's heart does not desire food? One apprentice loves blackbirds, an elder requires rabbit once a month... a kit can not wake up without a bite of sparrow." He shrugged. "Every cat has their own favorite food. In fact, I love a good vole once in a while. It's an odd preference, but a preference none the less. And, oh - have you ever tried trout?" A sly look made its brief appearance on his face. "It's actually very good. The RiverClan cats must live in heaven."
He stared down at the mouse she was devouring. Why did cats act like mice were so big? They were tiny. It was a strange, abrupt thought, but, well, a thought nonetheless.
He sighed, shaking his head. "Apprentices, at this point, are no longer warriors-in-training. They are little more than gossip machines. I was slightly like that at that age." Lion racked his brain for any mention of drama in the last couple days. "Ah... I'm afraid I have been out of the loop. Hmm. Well, everything is absolutely insane with the relations between ThunderClan and RiverClan. I can't believe all that happened." He thought of all the other Clans suddenly. ShadowClan was a garbage bag. RiverClan was no. WindClan...? "How about WindClan?" he asked. "Twilightstar honestly doesn't seem that bad..."
