Dark lies and Bright Hope (P)

The bright red and orange dragon lifted her slim head and flicked her tail. She had two separate wings, each like a bug's wings. Her eyes sharpened as they scanned the land below her. She swooped down, landing in the water, and she held her wings above the water. She crawled onto the beach and shook the extra water out from under her scales that covered her body. She shook out her tail, accidently getting some water on her right front wing.

Flores [They/them]
The amphithere, who's feathers seemed to be a rosey gradient, flew through the air. It had large white antlers that often got in the way when they were trying to make swift turns. They dashed through clearing until they came to a beach area. They squinted their eyes, and slowly flew towards the dragon they spotted. They were careful not to seem threatening, and approached them carefully.
'' You look... different. Who are you? "
They tilted their head, a curious look in their gaze.

She looked at the sun, her tail flicking quietly. She looked down at the voice of a dragon, and turned around, her wings flicking uncontrollably. She looked at the dragon. "Pheonix. You?" She didn't want to say much, she never did. It wasn't right to say. She looked at the feathered dragon, glancing at her horns. She wasn't a threat, and if she was, she knew she could beat her in a fight.

The amphithere had a hard time sitting still so they flew around the air, making loops with their long, serpent like body.
" So, where are you from? I usually don't see other dragons a whole lot in these parts. "

She smiled and nodded. "Yes, but my wings can NEVER get wet, or it makes it hard to fly. They wilt if soaked. Thankfully, I can grow new ones." She said, smiling as she landed.

They twirled around and looked at their own wings, suddenly feeling quite unimpressed with them. They did like the colors, though.
