Buckbranch’s ears swiveled toward the camp entrance and he glanced in its direction. Brown and white fur flashed through the tangled branches of the camp wall, and Buckbranch squinted. What… in the world? Wordlessly, he rose to his paws and wandered over, narrowing his eyes at the shape attempting to hide in the bushes, one he hadn’t seen for quite some time.
“…Oatkit? What on earth- come out of there, where in the world have you been?” He gestured with a jerk of his head for the kit to come out, brow furrowed.
Oatkit
He stiffened, the large pawsteps were soon followed by a command, summoning his presence. Used to taking orders, he instinctively stepped out, sat down, straitened his body like a tree, and fixed his eyes on the cat in front of him, which he now recognized as Buckbranch. He hadn't spoken to this cat before, and he was intrigued. "Yes sir." He said, just remembering the ShadowClan scent. He was too busy in his oh-mah-starclan-there-is-a-warrior mode that he forgot about the invasion! Stupid Oatkit! This is why you are still a kit. He scolded himself, shaking his head. He continued staring at Buckbranch, eyeing him carefully, ready to run if this cat was somehow apart of the invasion ShadowClan managed to put together. He knew this was a clanmate, but could he be... Trusted? Ha! Classic investigation scene! "Do you... Can you... Tell, that there is another clan here? C-can you scent it?" He stuttered, not sure how to asses a warrior. He was trying to do it all cryptic-like, similar to how mentors ask their apprentices a question without giving away the answer nor their intentions.
Did I say it right? Whatever! He probably bought it, because I'm so awesome at explaining things. He thought, partially exited and partially scared for his life. ShadowClan was a band of heartless monsters, and if Bucky, er, Buckbranch (where did Bucky come from?), sided with them, Oatkit could be dead in moments! Or, he and Buckbranch could save ThunderClan, and be known as heroes forever! Or, maybe he would have to have a fight to the death with Dawnstar, by himself, because Buckbranch tragically dies, passing on his awesome most bestest missions to Oatkit, in which he will have to fulfill, with Buckbrach watching from StarClan. OR! Oatkit dies and Buckbranch has to fight on, bringing the legend of Oatkit with him! Either way, Oatkit and his new best mission friend (or maybe worst mission enemy) could be legends! Haha! He loved his fantasies.
Hobbling his way into the den on three paws, the large tabby blinked to adjust his eyes to the light, gazing around. He was careful to not set down his fourth paw, he didn't want the cobwebs he had collected to become dirty. "Rosepaw? Are you here? I have cobwebs for you," he called out as softly as he could, but that didn't stop his deep voice from resounding in the shadows.
"Ummmmm can I talk to you guys? Im not very social and well I think I kinda need to so uuuh can I join you?"
Golden'paw was hitting the ground again with her paw. She was trying at least to make new friends like mother said 'You need friends to keep happy and they need to have your back like you need to have theirs.' she would also talk about very interesting things so I guess mother was the kind of cat to not take very seriously but this was an exception. (her mother is an NPC) ' @Firebender @Beetle'

padding back into camp with the yellow flowers in his mouth, the large tom looked around for the brown tabby. "rosepaw!" he called, hoping to alert her as he walked to her, dropping the herbs at her paws. "fallowpaw found some more of them, moosecrash and ivypaw got some cobwebs. they'll bring them to you soon, i'm sure."
@falling // ;; is a bit bad so excuse it but lotus is speaking out loud but also using body language just in case :'o
Lotuspaw was laid out across on their back, gazing at the sky with wide eyes. Hm. When was Shadowclan going to leave? They let out a huff, shaking their head in disagreement. They were takin' up the place and eating all their food!! Before the apprentice had an chance to truly dive into their thoughts, they were interrupted by Sootwind. Lotuspaw blinked in surprise as the big cat used non-verbal gestures - that was a first. It filled them with warmth that they grinned brightly at her.
With a ecstatic nod of their head, they hopped to their paws with a leap of joy. A hunting patrol and a cat who actually seemed to have sense? Let's go! Their stub tail twitched with joy, very prepared. "Whatcha think we'll catch?? Oh! Oh! Goodmorningg!" Lotuspaw piped up, they could speak and lip-read but as they spoke - they made an effort to try and use their body language, similar to what Sootwind did.

Sootwind enjoyed the fact that Lotuspaw was grinning. If they were excited, then this couldn't be too bad. They appeared to be happy to be placed on a patrol, over which she did not ponder, but it was a good sign. "Well, I don't know what we will catch, it honestly depends," she gestured, chuckling lightly. "Goodmorning to you too. We can get going now, alright? Follow me."
@x ghostie (sorry that this is a bit short, i'll post at the sunkissed creek next)
➢ This was not at all how the young tortie apprentice had planned today to go. She had just wanted to do something productive instead of just laying around camp, doing nothing. Eventually, Brightpaw had even managed to drag Foxspring out for a climbing lesson, even with the old man complaining the whole way. And somehow, they ended up here, with their paw oozing dark beads of blood. It stung like hell and the slim youth felt utterly miserable. Was their fighting and climbing abilities going to be hindered now because of them having one less claw? But… they were supposed to become the best! They were training so hard and taking everything seriously. I mean, she even went on two different patrols back-to-back! What more did she need to do to prove that she was good enough for Thunderclan? Brightpaw quickly padded into the medicine cat den, hoping that no other apprentices would see them come in here. They didn’t want to be viewed as weak or stupid for such an injury. The slender Thunderclan apprentice kept their head low and their ears flattened as they meekly called out. “...Sundust..?” Brightpaw said, sounding hesitant and lifting their bleeding, aching paw up to start keeping weight off of it. If she had gotten a scar through a fight, then she’d wear it proudly, but this? No, this was just utterly pathetic. Hopefully, Nectarflame or Dawnstar wouldn't hear about this. That would be terrible.
Geckoleap stood at the entrance, she didn't wanna go back to seeing Dawnstar as her leader. She wanted a Cinderstar or a Shiningstar. "Hello" She mewed, who am I saying it too?, she thought. "I'm here to rejoin, Shiningskies? Larkstorm?" She called. "Anyone?"
@NinjaBloss
Shiningskies perked her ears as she heard a familiar voice, a frown immediately marring her features. Padding over to the entrance she scowled down at Geckoleap, clearly unimpressed by the warrior's return. "Geckoleap, where have you been?"

Geckoleap felt sad about disappearing once again, I'm glad I wasn't taken by Twolegs again though, She thought. "I.. was unimpressed by Dawnstar's "leadership", so I left to uhhh.. think things over, because I wasn't in the best mental state"
Huh, it appeared that Nettletongue was the first back. That was strange. Brightpaw should have been the first to report back. It did fill her with mild concern. But, eh, oh well. They had decided to leave before the others were ready. It was no fur off her pelt.
Clamped between pearly white teeth was the sorrel. Hopefully, the Bumblepaw and Mistpaw would be able to turn in the herbs that they had found. As they were the two who had bothered staying with her. "Rosepaw, I found the sorrel. Bumblepaw and Mistpaw should be right behind me with the Catmint." Her tail lashed with irritation. "I have no idea where Brightpaw is. Probably off frolicking somewhere with their daisy."
It did fill her with mild satisfaction that she was contributing to the Clan. No matter how minor it was.
