"Hello?" I call out again, eyes raking the horizon for the speaker. I stop. This is pointless. If I had been heard, they should have answered by now, and if they hadn't heard, they were running. I begin to turn away, when I notice a flattened patch of grass. Someone had been standing there. I follow the trail to a tree and gaze up. "Hello?" I ask.
