"I know you live here, but I would suspect you to have a pretty little she-cat by your side," she chuckled lightly at the idea. She roled onto her back and looked at him upside down.

Larch rolled his eyes when she spoke, not caring too much about the fact that she liked to wander around on her own for awhile and not sure how that was relevant to their conversation. He opened his mouth to repeat the part that he wasn't here alone since he was with his father, plus Rock was still in the clearing even though he was on the opposite side now and seemed to be ignoring them the best he could. But he closed his mouth again after she continued to say she was expecting a pretty she-cat by his side. "And why would that be? Don't tell me you are already looking for someone to settle down with," he gave Cornith a weird look. "I'm guessing you're about my age and I believe I'm too young to settle down and have a mate." Larch watched her roll onto her back and thought she was going to roll right off the branch this time, but she didn't.

The female turned her head around, "Mate? Who said anything bout a mate. Just cause your to young to have a mate doesn't mean you can't have a cat you like," she mewed. She then rolled back over and leaped off the branch. She looked the tom over, "So what's your name fluffy?" she asked giving him a little poke in the side. "Wow, you really got a nice pelt there," she mewed. She sat down now and wrapped her tail around her paws.

Larch thought about this for a moment and tried to figure out if there was someone he liked. It didn't take long to realize that he didn't. Besides his family, the only other person he knew was Rock and he definitely didn't like him. "Nope, I don't really have any she-cats in my life that I could like," he admitted, feeling lonely when he did say this. Larch watched Cornith roll back over and than jump down from the branch. He blushed slightly when she complemented his pelt but didn't say anything about that. "Larch... my name's Larch," he muttered still unsure about trusting the stranger since they have hardly spoken and seemed early in their conversation.
