Ciara froze at Zero's words. She straightened slightly, the grip on her katana loosening lightly. "F-friend?" She echoed. Shock hit her face, but quickly turned into anger and she crouched down again. "What do you mean 'best friend?' I'm a demon hunter! You're a demon! Demons and demon hunters are never friends! Have you been hit really hard on the head lately or what?" Ciara didn't understand. She would have to be convinced and have real evidence to prove it.

Zero closed her eyes, and the tips of the demon's fingers started to glow red. If the spell went right, Ciara's fingertips would glow, and she would be flooded by memories of her and Zero together.

Ciara gasped when Zero's fingers started to glow. She tried to pull away, but she couldn't lift her fingers. Ciara's fingertips also started to glow. When that happened, she let out of gasp of pain, dropping her katana, her hand pressing her head in pain, eyes scrunched shut as memories flooded her mind. All were about her and the demon, who's name was Zero, according to the flashbacks. Tears started to swell in Ciara's eyes, making a weird moaning noise as the memories played out.

Ciara's hand went to her head the moment Zero let go of her. She staggered back and bumped into a tree. Her single eye opened slowly, the tears still coming down. Her hands slowly lifted away from her head as she looked up and met Zero's eyes. "Z-Z-Zero?" She breathed, still slightly confused.
