Only when he was safely sitting on the ground and able to breathe normally did he say something, "hey boss, I know what it looks like but allow me to explain. He sat up and thoroughly brushed the sand off his close, "but if this is your way of challenging me to a fight then I decline unless you persist of course, which in that case I'll simply be obligated to follow rule number three."

She grumbled. "And what the heck exactly is Teddie doing in the middle of a desert?" she asked as she put the black gun touching his nose. "And what are you doing with her eh?" she challenged him. Neko thought he could just try and convince Teddie to go against her or something and nothing happens? Thats not how things work.

Teddie couldn't take it anymore. "No! Stop!" She cried, jumping to her feet, sending sand everywhere. "Moonlight! Neko! Please! No fighting! Let, um... Neko... you said you... what is your plan? You wanted to do something with me..." She realized, her fists clenching tightly. "What is your plan?! Tell us!" Teddie's voice rose. She flung her hand into her bag on her back and pulled out the dagger, zipping up her bag and glaring at Neko. "I don't want to hurt you. Just... tell the plan, please." She said, her voice still kind.

Neko moved the barrel of the gun away gently with his finger, "oh Moonlight, we were just having a private conversation of a potential and fun little game that's all. I think your reading way too far into it sweetheart." Neko was subtly flipping through the pages of his know hidden grimoire for a fight he was certain would come. "And also I think you invested too much of your heart into this one, I mean like you are a tried and true rotten to the core villain and your best friend is apparently a saint who believes that all people have good somewhere in them, that's what I'd call a delusional duo."

"Will you answer my question or are you going to keep trying to bypass what I asked, and what is this plan Teddie speaks of?" she takes the gun off and tucked it into her pocket and backed off. Though she was still glaring at him as Teddie took the dagger and was starting to threaten him. That was a side of Teddie she didnt even knew existed until this very moment.

"Well uh," Neko didn't really know how he'd explain to Moonlight that he intended to use her and Teddie as pawns just so that he'd be able to control how this war played out. "Okay I want to control this war from the shadows while also taking part in all of it. Know you are the leader of all the villains in this city and therefore I wanted to use you to help me direct this war to create a simphony of pure chaos and death, sort of like a baton you know? And since Teddie has strong ties with Splitside I saw her as being the perfect double agent. I want to hold all the cards and I want to choose who lives and dies, do you get it know?"

Teddie's anger grew and great at Neko's plan. She looked down at her dagger. "Maybe..." She whispered just loud enough for Moonlight to hear. "Maybe there has to be one death to keep the bond straight..." She said, lifting her head. "Neko." Teddie's voice projected across the desert. "I and Moonlight challenge you." She said, her normal mindset getting stomped down by her safety mindset. Teddie had become something that she had never wanted to try and become. Her anger and fear of the Heroes and Villains had unleased the villain inside of her. And now she was ready to fight to the death.

Neko blinked a few times to register what had just been said, "hold the phone, you're going to kill me" he held a skeptical look on his face "how do you plan to do that and also does this mean that you admit that no one is a truly good human being on the inside because if so then that means I was right and you were wrong and I win." Neko loved being right, it gave such a warm feeling of pride that he couldn't get enough of it. "Alright then lets make a little wager, if you win then I'll simply die since that's what it seems you really want out of me but if I win then I won't kill you but you do have to do my plan without any protests. Does that sound good?"

Neko brought his book from out of hiding and quickly exchanged the magnet that for some reason he hadn't put away yet with an entirely black ring that would give him the power to move non living objects with his mind. Other than the sand he was unsure of what he'd actually be able to weaponize with this, but he was sure it come in handy none the less

Teddie smiled. "Let's make this fair, Neko." She said. "If Moonlight doesn't want to fight, since I have no powers, you cannot use your magic during the fight. If she does want to fight, you can make only THREE weapons, and they shouldn't bee too overpowered, but if Moonlight wants me to step back and not fight, then I'll let the two of you decide how to fight." Teddie explained her rules. "Or else I won't let you fight me or Moonlight; I'll have her take me and her somewhere else."

He wanted a fight? She'd bring the fight to him. "You can fight me, but lay one weapon on Teddie and it shall be your last" she growled at the little boy. When he offered a chance to get this through peacefully she groaned. She really wanted to beat the young boy up but he decided it was better for Teddie's sake. "Hmm? Okay then, but not too harsh of a fight, or you can go help Splitside and her very 'Heroic' acts." she said harshly. If he wanted to be so much of a leader he could bring it up with Splitside. Dont think she'd be too happy with it especially with what was going around at the current moment.
