Roosterflame rocked back and forth as Sundust spoke, and he replied rather quickly,
“Their methods are… questionable, that’s for sure,” His laugh was short, devoid of his normal humor, “I’m very glad I’m not in their clutches still… it was not good.”
He shook his head in response to Sundust’s question, the light sparking inside him once again, the vet forgotten,
“Nope, nada, zilch,” He meowed pleasantly, flexing it to show how well it healed up. That wasn’t absolutely true, he did feel some stiffness and he limped a little bit (That was most likely evident to Sundust already, but whatever.), but otherwise he was fully operational, and so ready to get back on his paws and be active in the clan again.

Icekit Stuck her small white head in "M-mis Sparrowstar? is... is Roseraven going to be ok?... She seemed so sad... and after that... sge not happy with herself?...?" Icekit mewed gently, she didn't like seeing others sad. and that night... with all the blood... was quite a terrible thing... she hoped everything would be ok for roseraven and the tramuatized denmates of hers...

Sundust didn’t know why he was surprised to be bombarded with questions - honestly, he should have expected it considering he was working with kits. Thankfully, he had a plentiful supply of patience to pull from at the moment. “Those are all excellent questions, Cherrykit. I love being a medicine cat, and while it’s hard, I don’t think I would go back to being a warrior. Being able to help my clanmates feel better is the best job I could ask for.” Next, he turned to Pepperkit, “One of this are poisonous- it will make you very itchy. We’ll get to that in a second.” For Minnowkit, he simply blinked warmly at her enthusiasm; he would go over the names in a second, so he didn’t respond to her directly.

Turning his attention to the plants in front of him, he nudged the marigold forward first. “In front of me are marigold, a poppy seed, a cobweb, and poison ivy. First we’ll talk about marigold- he gestured at the leaf once more, “-marigold is a healing herb that I use the most frequently. I use it on deep wounds to keep them from getting infected. Do any of you have guesses as to what an infection might be?” He thought it would be good to prompt some thinking in the kits rather than just talking at them. If any had visited him in the medicine den, he might have mentioned something about infections, or they may be able to guess. He supposed he would see.

A soft sigh left the tiny she-kit. While she was forever grateful for Cedarsparrow and Mistystream giving her a home, she simply wished she could see them more often.

For now, she would wait and see if someone would interact with her. She was an outsider in a clan-born kitten setting. She knew she was an outsider and was already treated as such. Her green hues simply danced around the nursery, watching the other kittens talk and play, even envying the ones snuggled up with queens.

Icekit paddled over "HI TREEKIT! Wanna pretend to be grown ups with us! I'z Da Icefluttery! a meddy kitty! mothkit is Mothmisty and Pepperkit is Peppersnot!" She giggled happily as Pepperkit and mothkit charged after her.

"Hello? Icefluttery and Mothmisty and Peppersnot is here to play and cheer ups and talks!" Icekit mewed as pepperkit ran around in circles and Mothkit hide behind her (open)

Cherrykit listened very carefully. "Is that... um... like, when you get a cut, and it turns not red?" She guessed, scooting a little closer to Sundust.
