Honeykit could not help it. Her olive hues watered sadly as Thunderblaze walked off, making her feel a stabbing sensation in her chest. It didn't make sense, and Honeykit had no idea why her heart hurt upon seeing her father turn tail and leave, but the little she-kit lifted a cream paw to wipe at her black-rimmed eyes. It was okay! Right? Honeykit would make him proud one day! She swore it!

Still pouting, the she-kit hopped to her paws and shuffled away, ignoring her foster mother and what-ever-the-soggy-mossball's-name-was. Halfway through the clearing, Honeykit plopped down in front of a pebble, batting at it with her paws. Not a few moments later, her older brother limped over with.. a mouse? Ew, everyone knew Honeykit liked squirrels. ..Right? Didn't everyone know that? Maybe just like Thunderblaze, nobody knew anything about her. Ears pressed flat against her skull, the pretty dilute calico only offered her brother a cursory glance. "Are you still pretending to walk bad?" She asked glumly.

Forest'Chaser noticed the toms visible struggle and walked up to him.
"Excuse me? I feel it would be best if you maybe spoke to my mother about your situation." He whispered, genuinely trying to help the tomcat

He seemed rather startled. If there was any sort of danger following him... Well, she'd just stay up here for now until he answered.

Apparently, stopping in the middle of the woods was a terrible idea, because apparently these cats could climb.

Snake yelped as a voice came from above him and jerked his head up to stare, wide-eyed, at the cat in the tree. ThunderClan, so he HAD made it to the right spot after all. "Oh, thank the skies," he breathed out. "Please, I need your help! My name is Snake. I was abandoned by my housefolk, I- I can't survive out here on my own. I've been chased away by every other rogue I've asked for assisstance, and one of them let slip that there was a big group around here."

A pair of cuts threw red lines over the gray fur of his face, blue eyes pleading as he stared up at Sparrowstar. "Whatever you want me to do, I- I'll do it. I can be useful, I swear."

Dapple looked at the tan molly. "My mother brought me to a twoleg-place when I was a kit. Her name was Clear. She died a moon ago. Since, i've been wandering these woods. I can barley remember ThunderClan, but i remember it. On a diffrent note, "Is Cinderstar here?" She asked. Cinderstar was her name.... right?

Flameheart did a short, quick dip of her head in acknowledgement to the thanks Sparrowstar had offered. Her gaze returned to meet the tan and brown leader's eyes as she began to speak once again to address something that hasn't been made official in the eyes of the Clan yet.

"I also wanted to report... Sootfur and I are not just friends. We're more than that, actually. We're mates. Shortly after we became warriors, we both agreed that we were ready to be more than friends. I thought you should know for future reference. I know he's showed more than the usual amount of concern when I returned to camp after being attacked by that RiverClanner."

The stern, commanding voice was not at all what he had expected from Sparrowstar after finishing his rant. He fought to keep himself from interrupting the she-cat while she spoke and let him know her thoughts about the situation. Ambition and straightforwardness are the reasons that piece of fox-dung was chosen? Really...? And I thought Sparrowstar was better than that.

"You and I have different views on my father. The ambition he has will end up destroying the Clan as we know it if he can't keep a connection with the cats he helped raise and hunt with. He's hunted with my mother, he visited me and my littermates frequently when we were all around... when Quietpaw ran away, that connection ended. He distanced himself from us. And while you say it's... 'natural' for toms to not be an active part in their kits' lives, I don't think it is. That's your opinion, and I respect it. Really, I do. But what I don't respect about what you said is that we can't keep sending parties out to search for lost Clanmates because it'll dwindle our numbers too often. Well- guess what? It's better to try and show StarClan we care about each other by sending patrols of twos or threes and sending them out every so often. I'm not saying we need to send patrols out every sunrise. I mean- come on, kits and apprentices aren't the only ones going missing. Warriors do too! And I'm not saying we shouldn't be making our own choices. If we didn't, we'd all be growing up as kittypets instead of out in the forest, under the stars and feeling the wind and taste of our prey's blood."

And he couldn't help but notice Sparrowstar's failure to answer his question, so he decided to repeat it. "Answer this question honestly, Sparrowstar: you trust Thrushfur to look out for the entirety of ThunderClan's future due to the qualities he possesses. But if he doesn't even care about his own kin enough to go out looking for them himself, how do you expect him to care for everyone else? The future of the Clan is in your paws, Sparrowstar. And I see the end of ThunderClan with his reign."

Galekit was on the hunt. He always was. And this time, his prey was a paw. He didn't know who the cat was that it belonged to, but, nothing stopped this massive kit! He has hit a growth spurt, as Mama called it, and he looked like a big cat now! Just like Big Cat Sparrow and Sissy Cindy!!!! He was close to the paw now and jumped on it, digging kitclaws in and biting, probably a lot harder than needed to be.

Stars, Sparrowstar had now requested that he punish particular cats. Was having to perform patrols really difficult? In all honesty, it appeared that more responsibilities were being neglected over time. These kinds of issues haven't impacted Thunderclan nearly enough. Under the Thunderwillow, he tensed his muscles, but he wasn't quite angry. However, he was merely disappointed. He called to the cats who failed Bumblebreak's patrol, including his mate of all cats, with a trembling yowl. "Tallshadow, Mistylight, Dawnpaw, Embertalon, Quailfur, and Vixenpaw! Immediately, I want you all here. You all have neglected to follow up and responsibly complete your tasks. As you are all aware, we are in a severe leaf-bare season, and Thunderclan is in critical need of its warriors to remain on top of their responsibilities." He breathed out in frustration as he growled. "That being said, you will all need to suffer the consequences for failing to comply. I'm open to hearing from you if you have a valid excuse for not reporting back or going on patrol, though. If not, then go drag your tails and finish the necessary punishments."

The first were the hunting patrols, and thankfully Harefire took it upon himself to stay on top of his responsibilities. "Since you didn't even begin to show up to the patrols, you'll have to do hunting by yourself. Tallshadow, return to Giant's Rest and begin exploring. Report back what you have caught." He frowned. His disapproving whiskers twitched, She should at least show up some way.  Speaking of punishments, it was quite painful to even bring up the subject.

Along with an apprentice for whom he had reasonable expectations that she work well, he was quite disappointed with his mate. She watches cats like snakes, particularly with kits. "Bring Vixenpaw out to Firefly Cove once more, Quailfur, and report back what you have caught. I had at least anticipated that you would have been more effective about this hunting patrol." Naturally, he was playing it safe with his words, so he swatted his tail. With a warrior by their side, it would be difficult for an apprentice to fail such a patrol.

Finally, there was the border patrol, but he only had time to react since Dawnpaw immediately vanished after. He beckoned to the three cats while moving the corners of his mouth. It would be wise to look for Dawnpaw as soon as possible if she didn't show up at all, which would be a perfectly fine excuse for not performing any tasks. Disappearing while performing your obligations, however, is such a stupid move. "Embertalon, Mistylight, and Dawnpaw,  Please return and mark the Windclan Border, as I want you to do. If our efforts at drawing basic boundaries doesn’t proceed as planned, Twilightstar will be able to quickly notice how poorly we mark our borders."

Having said all of that, he hoped that the execution of his first punishment roll went smoothly. Although he couldn't read minds, he would be happy to receive any criticism on his work.

MallowHeart was heartbroken… BeanPaw has been missing for a while and she’s finally admitted to herself that he wouldn’t return. She needed to report his disappearance at once… Not wanting to bother SparrowStar again, she looked for ThrushFur… sad mallow had her ears folded as she searched around the faces for the deputy.
