The calico toms lips pursed into a fine line, tail flicking sharply in unease. He didn't like this. The way Bumblebreak was...coddling him, it wasn't normal. He wasn't used to it. But then again, he wasn't used to any of this. He hated all of this. Was this a normal occurrence? Had Bumblebreak already dealt with something like this before? Seriously, he knew ThunderClan was pretty messed up back when he was still a kit, but this whole situation made him wonder. Was she used to just flipping the switch and going into damage control because of that? In a twisted way, he was finally starting to open his mind a bit. It only took the death of a damn kit for that to happen though, which was just swell.

"You saw the way the clan reacted to Roseraven. Hell, I joined in on it too. Once word gets out, I'm a goner" he huffed, trying and failing to hide the anxiety that crept onto his face. He just got home, and already his status among the clan was in jeopardy. Stars, he wished this was just a horrible, horrible dream.

"Roseraven was a fully trained medicine cat with moons of experience under her pelt who should have understood what she was doing," she countered, not unkindly. "You're an apprentice with minimal experience who saw an emergency happening and attempted to help out of instinct. Yeah, the outcome sucks. But sometimes crap happens that can't be controlled. It's not your fault."

Her tail flipped back and forth against the ground as she thought for a moment, watching Goldenpaw carefully. "The smart ones, the cats who actually understand what happens, aren't gonna turn against you. If the idiots try to speak out I'll give them a piece of my mind, 'cause what do they know?" She doesn't wait for an answer. "Nothing, that's what. You'll be okay. Swear it."

fuzzkit isn't sure why he's in the kit corner, if he's completely honest. rolling a mossball from side to side, he can't help but feel.. off. he isn't able to explain why - but the kit corner was calling his name today, instead of the warrior's den or clearing. for a second, he thought there was something off about the kit corner. maybe someone was inside, waiting for him? no, it's him that's off. eeeewww, i don't make sense. i feel gross!!he thinks with a loud groan, slapping the mossball away in frustration. "i'll just go find roosterdude and see what he's doing...or go find some cool kits." the mottled kit murmurs, frown replacing his usual toothy grin as he stands.

he takes a moment to look at the wave of kits in the den, ear twitching. surely there was somebody cool in here, right?? the thought leaves his mind once he's suddenly nudged, and hw whips around to face whoever tapped him. bright eyes land on some.. dude.. he's not sure who, honestly, but it's obviously a thunderbuddy. gorsefoot or something. he scrunches his nose, holding his chin high as he narrows his eyes at the warrior. who'd this guy think he was? "hey!! i have a name, you know. it's FUZZKIT!" he retorts sharply, brows knitted together, huffing. seriously, what is it with so many jerk warriors and emo ones!!

he looks gorsefeather up and down, judgement glinting in his eyes. "what do you want, huh? I'm busy...with..business..!!" he inquires with a small tilt of his head. obviously, he is not busy, just very salty.
