Redsea paused and looked to the tom. He was still polite but when greeted with suspicion, that kindness dropped by a level. "Briarfang." He turned to face the tom fully and cocked his head, "I was just saying hello to Mistfire. She looked a little troubled so I thought I'd ask how things were."

Briarfang felt anger boling inside him but he tried his best to control his temper after all Mistfire didn't like it when he lost control of himself "You didn't have to Mistfire could have asked me" he said through gritted teeth his fur starting to rise.

Redsea responded with his calm demeanour and gentle stern, "You weren't here, Briarfang, and there's nothing wrong with talking to a fellow clanmate. I wasn't making any advances if that's what you mean." The tom almost sounded bored.

Briarfang snarled angrily how dare this tom talk to him with such disrespect "Well mabye you should mind your own business!" he was at his breaking point one more word and he was sure he would rip this tom's pelt off.

"Calm yourself down." Redsea hummed, still keeping his cool. He would not fight another cat in camp for no reason. "I haven't done anything wrong." Pale blue oceanics stared into Briarfang's eyes as the other exhaled.

Briarfang growled furiously he was about to leap at the other tom but managed to remind himself that fighting Clanmates will not make Mistfire happy "Don't tell me what to do now move out of the way your wasting my time" he snarled as he shoved past Redsea and into the nursery.

Briarfang heard what Redsea said but managed to ignore it as he entered the nursery and saw Mistfire fast asleep he smiled lovingly at her as he gave her an affectionate lick on the head.
