She took another moment to take a deep breath to regather her mind. Alright Adderkit, you can't stand by the shore forever. So she slid back into the water again and her head went under the water once more. Her brain said to panic. No no, you don't control me. She let her mentors words run through her mind. So she started to awkwardly kick again and took a deep gasp of air. "Eheh Maybe I shouldn't have spent so much time under" She laughed awkwardly while she still struggled her form.

Creekpelt chuckled. "Could be," he said.

"Better," Creekpelt directed. "Focus on moving your legs smoothly and steadily."

"Oh ugh alright..!" Adderkit said in a slightly worried tone. It was just scary to try something new when in the middle of something. Yet she tried anyway. She squished her eyes together as she focused on the motion of her legs solely. Slowly she began to control her legs and was getting more steady. She wasn't perfect yet but she was getting better.

Opening her eyes again she looked at Creekpelt with a big smile. "I think I'm getting the hang of it Creekpelt!" She said with boundless excitement. "You are so great!" She cheered

So that was that for the day, it had been a long day after all of training how to swim. Yet she was not perfect yet so for the next few days Adderkit begged Creekpelt to come out to help her swim. At one point she just wanted him there to critique her form and to learn new forms once she was able to steadily swim. Then the little kit got bold.

Instead of asking for her swimming mentor to come and train her she slipped out on her own. She was still within the camp so therefore technically following the rules at least the one telling kits to stay in the camp anyways. In the camp was the safe river to practice in so she jumped into the cool waters to keep up the training until she thought she was set for swimming. It just felt so natural for her to be in the water, she felt she was quickly becoming a part of the clan in a deeper sense than just being born in it. Riverclan cats were supposed to swim and she had learned to do it. For her age she was decent at it and she refused to not practice every so often.

This was it, Adderkit said to her, this was the start of her becoming the clans greatest warrior there ever was. And she wasn't going to stop there. "You'll see everyone, one day I'll be the greatest warrior and I'll go down in legend!" She proudly proclaimed to no one in the camp, though she got a few glances and chuckles. That didn't matter, they could laugh all they wanted. Adderkit was going to be the greatest and she wanted Starclan to know.
