Shellwhisker had returned for Weaseltooth when he hadn't returned since she'd talked with Charredpaw. Her ice-blue eyes widened. Ears flattening, the she-cat gave a hiss, tail bushing. ''What is ThunderClan doing on RiverClan territory?'' Shellwhisker stalked forward, stopping beside Weaseltooth. She flashed a stern look at her Clanmate before returning her glare to Rateye.
"Rateye and I actually came from the same kittypet litter! " weaseltooth purred happily.
"It's true, lass. And as for why I'm here, I needed to get away from my clan for a bit and I didn't wanna risk a twoleg catching me." Rateye meowed.

Her paws shook slightly as she wandered into the territory, she had only been to Haven Springs with her mentor once, now she had to go alone.
Falconfrost had disappeared, and the patrol was due soon, so she had decided to go without him. She had never hunted before, so this would be interesting
Finally, with the help of a miracle she wandered into Haven springs. Great, now hunting
She had never hunted before. She would just have to figure it out.
She put her nose to the air and opened her mouth, she smelled something. She got a faint scent of a lizard, a few birds, and maybe a mouse?
She hurriedly crossed the old bridge with not so silent paws.
Minnowpaw quickly spotted her first victim, a small lizard dozing next to the steaming springs.
She crouched low and quietly stalked her prey, her tail stuck out and her form was nowhere near perfect but somehow, she was able to pounce. She launched herself into the air
And landed next to the lizard, startling it awake. She dove after it, gripping it in her Maw but also sliding into the steamy water.she let out a yowl that would have scared the rest of the prey away.
She surfaced quickly and successfully killed the lizard.
The grey apprentice pulled herself out of the water, the lizard dangling from her white jaws.
Her pelt dripped hot water yet the cold air had already begun to bite.
She shivered as she dropped the lizard.
All they prey would be in hiding now.
She picked the lizard back up and walked slowly back to camp.

(#have been trying to sleep for 2 hours but the loud ah rain is SO LOUD, anyway Treepaw has had a lil training experience but not a lot. He caught a rabbit once :thumbs up: )

Birdsnow led her patrol out to Haven Springs, crossing over the rickety old Twoleg bridge without a second thought of anxiousness, glancing back to make sure everyone made it across alright before padding into this part of the territory that held so many memories and sentiment for her. Good ones, horrible ones. Taking in a deep breath, feeling the heat from the thermal pools, she was tempted to jump into the warm water but knew that if she got in, her fur would get wet and if her fur was wet, she would surely turn into an icicle on the way back to camp.
"Was thinking that the prey likes the warmth from the hot springs, or at least the vegetation that still grows around them." Like all hot springs, there were small green-brown sprouts peeking up from the ground, fighting for their lives again the cold weather with the warm soil beneath their paws. "Why don't we split up into pairs, someone can come with me and then the other two can go off a little ways away. Each pair meet back here when you have at least four pieces of prey- there should be rodents and lizards around here somewhere."
Hopefully no one would think she was bossy- she just really wanted to get this done, and she assumed that they would, too. "Treepaw, do you know how to hunt?" She asked gently while she awaited her partner, wanting to make sure that the opportunity to teach wasn't missed or anything. Her nose twitched as she caught the stale- probably week and a half old ThunderClan scent- with the scent of a RiverClan warrior. Fur bristling, she let out a small huff as she awaited the answers from her patrolmates. She would have to suggest to Nightspark and Larkstar about getting the Lionheart's to start being assigned sections of the territory to stand sentinel over again, because trespassing wasn't going to be acceptable.
