Make sure to congratulate Versailles on their promotion from c-mod in training to fully fledged chat moderator! They've worked very hard, and we can't wait to see where they go from here!
His paws scrapped and clawed the ground as he sighed. He couldn’t even fit into his nest anymore not to mention this fluff ball missed his own ceremony.

Would his own progeny also be this inquisitive? One could only hope that they'd be as thoroughly invested in pursuing talent and knowledge as his family expected...
A low rumble of mild amusement emerged from the larger warrior as the young kit beside him seemed to settle in next to him for the long haul, clearly expecting some sort of entertainment while he remained on watch at his post.
"A kit your size would prove an easy meal for any hawk or owl swooping low on their hunt for prey," he started, fluffy tail flicking absentmindedly beside him as he considered how much knowledge of the unknown to bestow upon this impressionable young mind. Not enough to frighten them away from the prospect of warriorhood, but certainly enough to dissuade them from the temptation of exploring beyond the camp walls on their own. "And coyotes, large rabid canines of the worst sort of temperament, have continuously proven themselves a bane to the lives of even the most capable Thunderclan warriors. When prey runs short for us, it is also short for our enemies. Foes who might normally pass you by without much of a fuss during the warm moons of Greenleaf, may find the prospect of a fight preferable to starvation in the cold."
Amber eyes flicked back out towards the frosted territory beyond their walls, and the golden warrior gave the forest a thorough scan before turning his attention back to Sheepkit.
"This is why we keep our kits, queens, and elders tucked safely away in the confines of camp... This is why I stand watch at this post. We wouldn't want to present all our untrained and vulnerable clanmates as a free meal to creatures who harbor no love for the warriors of this forest."
Sheepkit looked pretty zoned out all throughout that "Story." Surely this cat had a better or at least fun way of explaining all this boring stuff. It was like he was sitting in some clan meeting. Sheepkit couldn't even understand half the stuff Lioncress was saying. It was all jibber jabber. (Well, not really but to him it was.)
What do words like volnabol, or Tompotah mean? What is Lioncress even yapping on about? Sheepkit could only make out a few keywords. Which was already starting to get him confused. This was no story, this was a lecture! What was he even getting lectured for? He didn't even make it to the entrance of camp yet! Sitting through this torture would kill him quicker than any hawk or fox.
Blizzardkit's tail twitched with confusion and anger. Of course, he didn't want to hurt the older cat's feelings. This "Story." was well put together. (Even though he couldn't really understand it.) So, Blizzardkit tried his best intrested face. It was far from believable. Really Blizzardkit just looked like he was constipated or something. His fur standing on end and his face all twisted to what he thought an interested cat would look like.
Glancing up back at Lioncress, Blizzardkit nodded his head slowly and looked over to his sides before stumbling and aiming his round hues at Lioncress. He'd seen old cats do this a lot during a conversation. They would nod slowly and dismissively whenever he would try and tell him something. Sitting properly down, he nodded his head a couple of times before asking some random question that had nothing to do with what Lioncress was saying.
Wolfpaw had been doing busywork around camp, generally just tidying the place up so it seemed presentable. Bumba seemed busy and he had yet to see another warrior available to take him training, so this just served to fill the void in his life.
When he was finished with his makeshift tasks, he eyed the fresh-kill pile suspiciously before deciding it'd be best to wait until he was out hunting. After being poisoned, Wolfpaw didn't like eating food when he didn't know where it was found. Anything near RiverClan was strictly off limits.
So instead, he headed along the edge of camp to find a place to lay down, watch, observe. Maybe something would catch his interest.
As he passed the leaf pile, he thought he heard the slightest of rustling - but pushed it away as the wind. Infrequently, little gusts of wind would surge through the clearing - and a slight breeze tickled his fur. But his theory was quickly proven wrong when the leaves EXPLODED, and he visibly jumped with surprised. Fur puffed like a ruptured cattail, he didn't have time to process what was happening before something was tackling him - knocking him clean off his paws.
Wolfpaw tumbled to the ground with a squeak, but was quick to burst into laughter once he realize it was a kit. A goofy little creampop, with leaf scraps still clinging to their fur. "Oh no, you got me!!!"

Beachkit -
Little danger mitts battered at Wolfpaw's side and back and anywhere within reach with little to no strategy attached. This couldn't have gone better. From the stealthy leaf covering to the surprise ambush that knocked an apprentice (A REAL APPRENTICE!) clean off his feet. He was a battle GENIUS!
Beachkit bounced off his target to expend his boundless energy on war-dancing around him in a delightfully intimidating circle, his fur fluffed from the heat of the scuffle. So scary and fierce! Raaaaa!!!! He had him right where he wanted him! "BE AFRAID!" Except he couldn't think of an insult that his mom would approve of in case she was in earshot (or some TATTLETAIL would overhear), so he went out on a very daring limb after a furtive glance around the area. "..YOU mousebrain!"
Yeah, take that! He was whipping out the big takedowns, the naughty words that only warriors used in the most pressurized moments. And to top it off, drive his point home, he extended a foreleg to whomp Wolfpaw's cheek.
It was so violent, intense! The greatest skirmish of all time! .. No, that was.. between Stonestar's killer and Licestar. Surely Wolfpaw knew that story too.
Summoning the rage of a scorned widow, Beachkit screeched, "That's what you get for killing my Stonestar!! I LOVED him and now my kits won't have a dad!" Mid-yell a leaf scrap hooked on his ear had started to slide down his face but he shook it off with renewed vigor to go for the BIG CHOMP on Wolfpaw's shoulder.
Bonecall walked out of the camp entrance to go hunting.

Spiderthroat
He/Him || ThunderClan Deputy
Beefed Up Tier III || Hulk Smash
Was he dreaming? Was it real, Ospreypaw truly in his arms at this moment? The breath against his fur, the faintly familiar scent, mingled with the unknown of the outside. It was him, it was his Ospreypaw. His hug growing tighter as the Deputy aimed to wrap his tail around the Apprentice as well. The only thing keeping him from digging his claws in was the broken up sentence, rumbled apart by the purring of the younger.
Chuffs coming from the Calico as he rested his head atop the brown tom. "It doesn't matter. You're here now." he gruffed, voice barely above a whisper. For the first time in moons, he felt somewhat full again. A panging he'd felt chipping away at him slowing. Although still there. Of course it would be, he only had Ospreypaw right now.
"Are you hurt anywhere? Do you need food?" he asked once he realized, yes. Yes they were there, and that he was awake. It wasn't a dream. Going from happy (although you couldn't quite tell unless you squinted) to serious in seconds flat. Pulling himself away from the Apprentice as he looked around for some prey.
☄. *. ⋆ Ospreypaw
Ospreypaw just shook his head, "Not hurt at all, some food sounds good..." he had eaten when he was lost but it was whatever he could catch at the time. He hardly moved around though because he feared being caught by twolegs, even though he had hardly seen them where he was at...though everything was still a complete fuzz for him.
He hummed as looked at what prey was on the pile, looking for anything that might be a bird, it was one of his favorites simply because he liked to take the feathers to add to his nest. Something that he missed, he loved having a nice warm and soft nest to lay in after a long day.

RAHHHH (velli)
Oh, she's looking for another cat. Lotuspaw thinks for a moment, recalling some names she's heard since she'd gotten back.
"I'm sorry, I don't think I've heard the name Gentledoe, I wish I could be more help, but she doesn't sound familiar,"
Lotuspaw shakes her head and looks at the ground, scared to see disappointment on the other molly's face if she looked up.
She must be really special to her though, based on how her tone changed when talking about her, it sounded warmer. Lotuspaw smiles sadly, she had someone special to her once, he's probably long gone by now though. He had just told her his feelings about her before her disappearance. Well, there could be a chance that he's still here, you never know unless you look. But hey, she's a little passed hope by now, though she'll still ask around. A tear drops as she imagines his cute little face, and blind, but still expression-full eyes. She should stop tormenting herself, this really is too much for her.
Redhawk
She/they | 27 moons | Ultimate Predator
It didn't surprise her that Lotuspaw didn't know her sister, but Redhawk can't help but deflate a little at her answer. It seemed as though no one knew where she was. Red never heard her name spoken in camp, no whispers about her status in ThunderClan. Was she even here anymore? Had that sinkhole they had moved camps because of gotten her? Swallowing the bile that rose in her throat, the warrior decided to shove all of the doubts down for now at least.
"That's o-okay," she murmured to the apprentice, hoping that the young 'paw didn't feel as though any of this was her fault. Red dawned a comforting smile and a warm glint in her gaze as she shook her head. "I'm sure she's just... o-out patrolling or something. She was always active." Between the two of them, she was the one who would likely be considered much more of the stereotypical warrior - brave, outspoken, a warrior who wouldn't hesitate to step up.
Noticing Lotuspaw's small tear, Redhawk blinked. "...Is everything alright?" she asked the younger cat, now switching gears to focus on her.
