It didn't surprise her that Lotuspaw didn't know her sister, but Redhawk can't help but deflate a little at her answer. It seemed as though no one knew where she was. Red never heard her name spoken in camp, no whispers about her status in ThunderClan. Was she even here anymore? Had that sinkhole they had moved camps because of gotten her? Swallowing the bile that rose in her throat, the warrior decided to shove all of the doubts down for now at least.
"That's o-okay," she murmured to the apprentice, hoping that the young 'paw didn't feel as though any of this was her fault. Red dawned a comforting smile and a warm glint in her gaze as she shook her head. "I'm sure she's just... o-out patrolling or something. She was always active." Between the two of them, she was the one who would likely be considered much more of the stereotypical warrior - brave, outspoken, a warrior who wouldn't hesitate to step up.
Noticing Lotuspaw's small tear, Redhawk blinked. "...Is everything alright?" she asked the younger cat, now switching gears to focus on her.

Lotuspaw looks up at the warrior, oh, a tear. She had actually shed a tear, thinking about her loved ones.
"Oh, sorry. It's just, well, everyone I've ever known has either died or went missing during my disappearance. I was gone for over five moons, so it really shouldn't come as a-a su-surprise."
A quiet sob shakes the apprentice, breaking up that last bit of her speech.
"I'm s-sorry if I'm m-making this about-t me, it's just... h-hard."
Lotuspaw's voice trembles, a daunting cloud of depression seems to settle over her head. There's even real rain, oh wait, that's just her crying.
The apprentice had made her way back towards the camp, following the scent that Larchflame had left when they found her. She was thankful for the she-cat, but Treepaw knew only she could report everything she'd experienced, and she knew exactly what cat to report to.
Something had changed in the apprentice since her kidnapping, she had a new sense of confidence she didn't hold before. The small feline sought out and approached the deputy.
Please be right about him Thrush. . .
"Spiderthroat?" Treepaw chirped upwards towards the large feline. She hoped she didn't spook him.
If he had a duck feather or a crab shell for each time an apprentice had somehow managed to sneak up on him and creepily stare at him. He would have two, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice. Staring down at the smaller one as he did his absolute best to fight his 'kick the child' instincts.
After a moment of recognition, he'd realized. Oh! "You're the one that went missin." he realized. Looking the brown bengal over to make sure she wasn't hurt anywhere, once his look over was done he'd sat himself down. "Well. What happened. I didn't get a report back so I'm in the dark about anything in terms of you." he stated as he wrapped his tail around his paws. Giving the Apprentice the floor, so she could speak.

Ospreypaw just shook his head, "Not hurt at all, some food sounds good..." he had eaten when he was lost but it was whatever he could catch at the time. He hardly moved around though because he feared being caught by twolegs, even though he had hardly seen them where he was at...though everything was still a complete fuzz for him.
He hummed as looked at what prey was on the pile, looking for anything that might be a bird, it was one of his favorites simply because he liked to take the feathers to add to his nest. Something that he missed, he loved having a nice warm and soft nest to lay in after a long day.

Ears perked as the Apprentice shuffled off towards the Prey Pile. Doing his best to keep himself from picking the other up by the scruff and stashing him away in his nest. Wasn't his kit. Ospreypaw was not his kit. Surely the Apprentice didn't view him as a dad either. Surely not, these were new feelings that he was mis-interperting. He would shove them down for now.
Scooting over to make space for the Apprentice as he laid himself down. "If you want, come sit down eat your food, n let me know what happened out there." he hummed.

Immediately her own problems were forgotten in lieu of this scared, trembling apprentice. Redhawk pulled her ears back and shuffled so that she was sitting next to them, lifting her tail to place it over the apprentice's back in a comforting manner. She may not be the best fighter, or the best warrior in general, but she knew how to comfort others.
"I'm sorry you h-have to go through that." Red knew the pain of coming back to familiar cats being gone, vanished without a trace. Most of the apprentices she had trained with were nowhere to be found now, gone and lost to the wind. It was difficult and could tarnish any cat's spirit no matter how resilient. "Coming back t-to unfamiliar f-f-faces is scary. It's definitely h-hard, yes." Gently she allowed her tail to move in slow, rhythmic movements in an attempt to comfort the apprentice.
Then, an idea pops into her head. She didn't know Gentledoe's fate yet, and wouldn't give herself any concrete thoughts until she did, but in the meantime Redhawk figured it would be good to get to know the Clanmates who were here. "If you w-want, we could be f-friends? Most everyone I g-grew up with is g-gone too." Except for a few. Warm yellow-green eyes shimmered down at the young cat as she let her offer hang in the air.

The molly had gotten bigger and bigger with each passing day, and she feared that she would be popping soon. Ears flattened and grunting softly with the effort of merely standing, up, the pregnant queen shuffled into the clearing, desperate for some fresh air. She feared that she was going to give birth to a whole-ass Clan of kits, because her belly brushed the ground and it took an immense amount of strength just to make it a few feet across the clearing.
Half tempted to find Lioncrest and beg him for a piggyback ride out to the territory, the silver molly gently lowered herself down, shifting her weight to try and get comfortable with her enormous stomach. Blue eyes glinting with frustration, she ended up laying on her side, too tired and pregnant to sit normally. Perhaps she would find someone to talk to? She was a bit hungry, but she tried not to eat as much out of fear that she would be poisoned again and that would lead to the kits being harmed. So even though she had the appetite of a bear about to go into hibernation, the molly was too anxious to eat, and instead looked for someone to talk to to pass the time.
Feeling her frustration mount over not being able to set comfortabley and feeling as if all her emotions were magnified by a thousand, the molly randomly burst into tears, frustrated and sad and very, very hormonal.

VultureEye would pad into the clearing holding a rabbit in his jaws, he'd shift his piercing amber eyes over to the VERY pregnant she-cat who looked around the clearing. The gray tom makes his way over dropping the plump rabbit in front of DoveFluff. ' ' Hungry? ' ' he asks as he looks at the odd way she had been sitting on the earth.
VultureEye didn't know much about queens or their behaviors but he had always taken a liking to kits. The sliver queen seemed as if she was about to bust! Surely there were many kits in there. But how many would make it? he wondered LeafBear was a hard time to be born. But all VutureEye could do was hope the queen had a safe and healthy litter. StarClan knows she could use the luck.

The usually gentle and kindly queen was definitely growing more and more short tempered with each day she had to go by with what felt like twenty kids in her stomach. Wiping away her tears of frustration, the molly propped herself up with one paw before giving up and laying awkwardly on the ground. Whatever. She was too tired and freaking HUGE to care.
Staring at the tom, she blinked blearily at him. His eyes were the same color as Lioncrest's. After a moment, she came to the very obvious decision (in her mind). Lioncrest's are prettier. I hope ALLLLLLL the kits have his eyes. And his fur. But did she really want a whole litter of kids that looked nothing like her? Maybe not ALLL the kids. Just like... some.
Briefly, she wondered if Lioncrest would get mad at her for talking to another tom like Darklight did, but she brushed it away. Lioncrest wasn't like Darklight. If anything, he would like her making friends! More aunts and uncles for their kids. "Starving. I could eat allllll of ShadowClan." She mumbled, slightly out of it. But that was okay. She was sick, and she was tired, and she was making new life inside of her. She could sound like an idiot. Dove had the right to sound dumb.
"Is that stuff poisoned? Because I already had some poison and it's grossss." She slurred out, sticking her tongue out slightly. Poison bad. REGULAR food was good. Dove fixed her sapphire gaze on the rabbit ravenously, and if she wasn't so weighed down, she would probably swallow the whole thing, bones and fur and all. That was how big of an appetite she had. Gone was the classy, polite warrior she had been, and in it's place was the hormonal mess of a queen.
Thankfully, Beachkit's attacks weren't strong enough to do any real damage. But Wolfpaw played the part, floundering on the ground as if he was trying to get up, to gain ground - but failing. "I am, so afraid!" He cried. "How can I ever defeat such a fierce, smart warrior?"
The kid bounced off him, and Wolfpaw stayed defeated on the ground for a moment before he moved to straighten himself up. He didn't have time to react to the WHOMP on his face, recoiling slightly from surprise. Then, he made it a point to flail backward again, as if the force of Beachkit's whack was powerful enough to knock him so. ".. Mercy, please!" He didn't know who this Stonestar was, but thought going along with it might be for the best. "I beat Stonestar, but I can't beat you!" Wolfpaw was fortunate the worst of Beachkit's bite was softened by his fluff - it stung slightly, but not enough to elicit a hiss. He writhed under Beachkit's grip - gently as to not hurt him, but enough to give the impression he was trying to break free.

Lotuspaw lets out a breath she didn't know she was holding, her sadness and distress seeming to slowly evaporate. She looks at Redhawk with a grateful smile, relaxing slightly.
"T-thank you, I would love t-to be friends," Lotuspaw replies, sniffing and wiping the last of the tears away with her paw.
The rhythmic strokes of the other she-cat's tail is comforting, it makes Lotuspaw feel less alone, they are going through the same thing. Only, neither of them are really alone now, they have each other. Lotuspaw would say that, but she doesn't want to break the silence quite yet, so she waits for Redhawk to respond first. She has a friend, the first one she's made since she's gotten back.
