Ears perked up to attention as Bumblestar began the meeting. Much of the starting announcements he had been aware of since he had participated in the battle, but the news that some of his clanmates had turned on their own... It was a despicable show of disloyalty. Almost as dishonorable as the deliberate harming of their medicine cats.

A low growl rumbled in his chest as he continued to gently groom himself and thought over the conflict. It was a fair decision to let Riverclan lick their wounds for the present moment, and with their leader apparently abandoning the lot of them perhaps Birdsnow would take Thunderclan's firm lesson to heart. Whatever the foxhearts decided, he truly didn't care. As long as they kept away from his mate and kits, the tom would count it as a success.

Redhawk - ThunderClan Hornet

As the meeting got underway with Bumblestar starting her announcements, Redhawk settled in to listen next to her two apprentices. The mention of Tawnypaw had her swallowing, the doubt coming back to tickle her mind. She felt bad for the apprentice, but at the same time the wounds inflicted on her back flared as a reminder for her. It would be dangerous to have cats like that in the Clan, who could turn on their own at the drop of a tail. Truthfully, she was just thankful that it wasn't her in the difficult position of determining what to do when it came to situations like that.

The kill on sight order was to be revoked, and the hornet would be lying if she said she wasn't a bit relieved. Red was all for defending their borders against those actually trespassing, but her stomach had churned at the thought of attacking a cat simply for existing by the border... for RiverClan, at least. She wasn't sure if she could say the same for ShadowClan.

Her ears caught a few cats speaking up and asking to talk with Bumblestar after the meeting, but she ignored it, deeming it something not worth getting involved in. Bumble would surely address them when the announcements moved on, and Red? Well, exhaustion was starting to weigh again as she slumped a bit where she sat, a tired glaze flooding her eyes.

Oatpaw accepted the kind gesture gratefully. "There really is no way to bring them back.... could you... could you stay here? I don't want to be alone.... if that's ok." Oatpaw meowed gently.

Oatpaw felt her warmth beside him and accepted it with a small sigh. He looked at where his mothers body had been a moment before. "I can't believe I'll never see her again...... I understand how you feel, she meowed empathetically, my mother died when I was born, I never got to see her; she meowed trying to sooth Oatpaw, what should she say? She had no idea; she nods at him, yes! you should train, fulfill your promise to your mother; she will watch you and help you every step of the way from starclan.
