About time she was finally selected for patrols! Like any normal, overly energetic cat, Nightgaze was thrilled to hear her name being called out and instantly rushed over to her patrol with a friendly wave of her tail. Ah yes, Shadowclan: her least favourite fox-hearts. Grumpy Spidey was right, those snakes had been quite reclusive lately...time to make sure they weren't plotting anything nasty like they usually did.

Milkbee nodded at each of her patrolmates with a friendly smile. Or, at least, the ones that were there. Snowpaw was still nowhere to be seen. Strange. Was something wrong? Was it something serous? What if it was? She quickly scanned the Undercrag, still not being able to spot the white-furred apprentice.

"Snowpaw's still not here... Is she alright?" The she-cat's voice was soft, and instead of sounding annoyed Snowpaw wasn't here, she sounded much more concerned about her wellbeing. She can't help herself! That's just how she is.

The kitten hadn't seen her father much as of late, unable to get on his nerves and ruffle his fur. She'd even gone looking for him in the warrior's den that one time, to little avail, and it had Spiderlingkit restless; up to a bit more trouble than normal, sometimes, but most of all bored. A strange concept with a whole twelve brothers and sisters to bother, but she liked bothering Spiderthroat! She liked being his little troublesome shadow, always causing chaos in both their wakes.

Not to mention her recent embarrassment at the meeting. Hmpf. Who would have thought aunty Bumble would still be angry about the gathering? It's been moons, and she's been good all things considered!

Her claws knead the ground below, thinking if there were any insects she could catch today. Maybe she could scare some kits with them, too, until that familiar voice rung within her drums and any plans for the day broke away and were replaces with a single goal in mind. A wide smile spread across her maw, and waiting until Spiderthroat had finally finished calling for all the patrols, she made her move.

"Daddy!"
The megaphone of a kit announced her presence as she bounded upwards, trying to wrap her paws around the deputy's throat in a big bear hug.
"It has been ages, where have you been? Firefly, Wasp, Beetle n Butterfly have ALL become apprentices (without me, Bleh!) n you weren't even there."

She pouted, assuming the kitten was practically hanging around his neck (more sitting atop his back with her paws around him), she reached out a paw to insistently prod his cheek and try to look him in the eye.
"You better not leave again. I missed you, daddy. M sure we all did."

Just as the tom was going to call for Snowpaw he felt a ball of fur brush against his front legs before feeling something wrap around his neck, he hadn't even heard the booming call of his name, he was so wrapped up in Sparrowpelt showin up a little late (he'd cut the tom slack, guy just had kits and even though he's not a father he sure does know what that's like now.) But his apprentice was still missing. Hopefully the patrol would go on without her...he'd have to take her to the territories himself.

Looking down with a start, he noticed his daughter. Taking a moment to figure out what exactly she was doing. It felt familiar, and he would be lying if he said it didn't feel like he was hugging Asterdance. But Asterdance wasn't here, the fur was wrong and the brat was shorter than they were when they were an apprentice. Thoughtlessly he moved to pat his paw to her back, if she hadn't squirmed away she'd get gentle back pats. "I'm in charge of the Sick camp kid. Can't be here and there at the same time. Ain't how that works." he stated, shifting his weight as she clambered over top of him. Not truly noticing that she was now draped across his back.

"Mantiskit an Mitekit didn't get to be apprentices either...since they're sick." he paused, shotting her a narrow eyed look. "But they didn't get a choice in whether or not they got to become Apprentices...you did. An you botched it by goin to the Gatherin. You an' Cricketkit." he stated plainly.

After a moment he let out a sigh. Once he found Snowpaw...she'd be in for a heap of trouble.

Ooooohhhh boy oh boy. He was low. As soon as the medicine cat finished checking his stock, he rushed out into the clearing, nervously twitching his tail. "ThunderClan! Herbs are low, so if you hear your name you're goin to fetch some for me, got it?"

[Location: Firefly Cove. Herb: Marigold]

Alright. First off, he should cross off the things he needed. "Alright, Milkbee [ @Starphobia ]! You n Risingstorm [ @Spider ] are goin to Firefly cove to get some marigold. They're orange and yellow flowers with frilly petals," he told the two, reciting the same description that he had learned.

[Location: Haggard Ruins Herb: Wild Garlic]

"Alright, Duckfrond [ @Mica ]! You take Firepaw [ @/Starphobia ] and Moonstreak [ @Nim ] to Haggard ruins. Try n find some Wild garlic, got some dark green leaves and grow in patches. Got a sharp n tangy scent," he told the three, before going on to the next patrol.

[Location: ThunderClan Territory. Herb: Poppy seeds (poppy heads)]

"Orangeflower [ @Rowan ], you go with Sweetswan [ @/Beaan ] to the territory n get some poppy heads. They come from these red flowers, n they hold the seeds in em, which is what we use. Careful not to spill any," he told the two before sending them off.

[Location: Cattail Pond. Herb: Tansy]

Alright, a few more. "Acornfall [ @Luna16 ], you n Honeydew [ @Splitmoon ] go ahead to Cattail Pond. Try n collect some tansy, it's a small, feathery and curly green stems with round yellow flowers. Got it?" alright, that was... four.

[Location: Sunkissed Creek. Herb: Burdock]

Alright, what else did he need? Burdock! Right! "Alright. Splashdawn [ @Screamington ], you n Darkholly [ @anika ] are going to Sunkissed creek. Get some Burdock, its a tall-stemed thistle with dark leaves and black roots, and has a bitter taste." Alright. Five down. One more should be good.

[Location: Willow's Rise. Herb: Whatever we can find]

Alright, one more patrol should do it. Now that he thought about it, he still needed to talk to bumblestar. Maybe a patrol with just the two. That should be alright, right? "Bumble [ @dino. ]! You wanna tag along with me n head to Willows rise?" he called out for his leader, shuffling his paws anxiously.

At the sound of her name, Darkholly´s black-and-brown form made its way into the clearing. Giving Wolfpaw a nod, the warrior stood near the camp entrance, waiting on her companion. Splashdawn, was it? Darkholly´s ears twitched; she didn´t know the other cat, so this would be an interesting outing.

Duckfrond was in a bad mood. Though, frankly, he had been in a bad mood for almost a moon now. His usually abrasive and fiery personality had turned sharp and scalding, his already thin patience now thinner than a blade of grass. When his name was called to lead a patrol, the tom frowned deeply but padded over anyway. He glanced at the squirt giving out the patrols, giving him a brief nod before going over to the side and waiting for Firepaw and Moonstreak. Two clanmates he hadn't really talked to before, and wasn't looking forward to changing that now. He just wanted to get this over with.

Firepaw had expected the patrol to go smoothly, and hoped her patrolmates weren't anything like her last ones. So many grumpy and snappy cats in ThunderClan... Where was this, ShadowClan?

Speaking of ShadowClan...

Nope, no, no no. She couldn't think of him, not here. Shaking her head internally, Firepaw padded towards Duckfrond, who was already there. She couldn't help a sharp intake of breath when she saw the warrior's frown, almost physically recoiling at the sight. Okay... So she shouldn't have hoped so hard... As much as she wanted to to turn and walk the other way, she didn't. She couldn't. She instead walked closer to Duckfrond, a nervous smile on her face.

"H-hello, uh- Duckfrond, r-right?" Ah, crap. She hadn't meant for it to sound like she was about to cry. She shut her mouth instantly, and attempted to keep herself from twitching her eye. It was hard.

Maaaaarigooold... Okaaay, okay. Orange flowers with frilly petals. Sounded pretty! Milkbee approached Wolfpaw with a warm and friendly smile, giving the young medic a light dip of her head, she turned around and with a slightly sing-song-y voice, called her patrolmate.

"Risingstorm-!" She let out a purr, tail flicking. "You here? Herb Patrol time!" Milkbee had spoken to the Hornet a couple of times, and it was quite nice to. The tom was kind and understanding, and seemingly did not find her playfullness annoying, like some warriors did. She very much appreciated it. And plus, Risingstorm was sorta playful to her back!

Splashdawn sits within the undercrag, their tail slowly swaying side by side as they anxiously await the call of their name. They LOVED going out to collect herbs, don't get them wrong - but it was always oddly nerve-wracking to wait for the mention of your figure.
Upon finally being prompted, Splashdawn stands up, looking around for another cat who they were unfamiliar with.

"Darkholly," they whisper under their breath.

Before long, the younger cat made their way to who they were pretty sure was Darkholly.
"Hi, uh- Splashdawn. Is.. my name. I don't know why I told you that you already knew my name." They anxiously pat their paws against the ground. "...Are you ready to leave?"

As Splashdawn approached, Darkholly´s emerald hues flicked over to the younger warrior. She dipped her head in greeting. ´´Hi, Splashdawn. My name is Darkholly. It's nice to meet you,´´ The black-and-brown warrior purred. ´´Shall we get going? Wolfpaw will need that burdock soon, I assume.´´ She blinked, waiting for them to lead the way.

Her gaze darkened after a heartbeat. ´´We're going to Sunkissed Creek. Keep in mind that Sunkissed Creek is where the sick camp is located. We will want to stay as far away as possible to refrain from becoming ill ourselves.´´
