Hawkbite had been sitting idly in his normal spot, his gaze resting lazily on Dawnstar. Despite his recent... we'll call it a "dispute"... with her, he was still her Commander, still served in the clan. He'd get over it. It just didn't feel like a very justified decision. He thought she was better than that.
His thoughts were interrupted when Nightshiver approached and made herself comfortable beside him. His green gaze flickered in her direction, offering a small smile. Then... their names. His gaze flicked towards the three apprentices: Fishpaw, Lionpaw, Hollowpaw.
"I- I didn't know it was this meeting..." he murmured towards the white queen, the corners of his eyes starting to sting with tears. Gosh, Hawkbite was such a softy for the cats he cared about. He really was a sensitive guy deep down, huh? This was jusitfied though. These were his kids standing before their leader.
These were their kids.
He leaned into Nightshiver a little, wondering if she knew it was happening so soon. "They're... all grown up..." he inhaled sharply. His claws dug into the ground beneath him, gaze focused on the trio. "All grown up and getting their names together..." He nearly leaned in on his tip toes to see if he couldn't catch their gazes, to mouth "I'm so proud" to them as they gathered.

"Fishpaw didn't tell you?"
She had a wry grin on her face that turned into a gentle smile, eyes soft as she gazed at the tom. She couldn't help but smile when looking at his face, and for this one meeting, allowed herself to lean up against him as they watched the meeting go on. Haha, she could almost cry already!
Among the new apprentices the were three of her latest brood; Bonepaw, Grubpaw, and Twilightpaw. She smiled and gave them all a bright smile, mouthing a small word of encouragement to them and cheering their names as loud as she could muster without straining her voice too much. "Mushroompaw, Nightpaw, Ashpaw, Specklepaw, Grubpaw, Twilightpaw, Bonepaw!"
She knew those few didn't see her like a mother; they had made it quite clear, and Nightshiver didn't seek to insert herself into their lives anymore than they allowed her to. But she still felt responsible for them, at least to have someone cheering for them.

Then, came the next announcement, and Nightshiver's eyes were already growing misty with tears. Paw to maw and her eyes filling with tears, she watched as her three children stepped up and took their vow. Unable to keep herself from crying with joy, she placed a gentle paw over Hawkbite's, face nothing but smiles. She still remembered when Fishpaw and Lionpaw were just babies... Barely able to walk, still learning to speak. Discovering the world around them with every question and fall. "Oh, my...my darlings...."
She was crying. "Fish..Fishbite!! T-Tigernniight!! Hollowwwhawk!!"
She cheered alongside the clan, her sight blurry from tears, and yet she could see them so clearly. The moment the ceremony was over, she couldn't keep herself from getting to her paws and slipping through the crowd towards them, her face all smiles. "O-oh... You three... I...I am.. so.... so proud. I lo...love you... my darlings.... so, so...much."
She reached out to brush a paw over Tigernight's face and give him a long, soft look. Then turned to Fishbite and nuzzled the side of her face with affection. Then she looked at Hollowhawk; the only one who wasn't her child, not unless Hollowhawk wanted to, but was family by all accounts. She smiled at the newly named warrior, bright and happy. Looking between them, she wanted to pull the three new warriors into a tight hug, as well as Hawkbite. "Con...congrat..tulations."

➢ Hollowpaw was honestly frozen during the whole process. Still as a statue as Dawnstar awarded her the honor of being a Warrior with a tap on the forehead. It was something she wore with pride and waiting until the Leader lifted her muzzle from the shecat to nod in respect. It marked a new time, a moment that she would never forget. Though it was over swiftly, it opened countless doors in Hollowhawk’s mind.
Stemstone. Tigernight. Fishbite. She doesn’t react outwardly, instead cheering for the other three in her head.
Though there was something she noticed. Hawk and Bite. Prefix and suffix of her mentor and Fish’s father. That couldn’t be on accident, right? Their role players totally not plotting behind the scenes? Nah!
Hollowhawk waits for the meeting to end before standing, her mind elsewhere in the blink of an eye. She had two stops to make. The Warrior was quick to move around the group and to Hawkbite. Padding up and giving him a quick smile alongside a mischievous giggle as her expression quickly turns into a smug one. “Thank you….and I’m not sorry for what I’m about to do.” Turning around quickly, she bolts. Straight into Fishbite. Tackling her sister to the ground with a playful yelp, booping the other shecat her their nose before removing herself from the now grounded Warrior. “I’m proud of you, Fishface. Also nice name, I wonder where you got it.” Another playful laugh as she nodded in Hawkbite’s direction, their voice sounding less hollow than usual. Sticking her tongue out at her sister shortly after.
Time for the other two. “Stemstone, it fits you. Congratulations.” Regaining her composure as they nod towards the new Warrior who had gone elsewhere. [ @Luna16 ]
Hollow closes the distance between herself and Tigernight. Eh, another tease couldn’t hurt. “Finally got your name back, eh? You’re still Lionlame to me, don’t worry about losing that one!” She giggles before flicking her tail in self-dismissal. Padding away and taking a spot next to her former mentor. [ @Rowan ]
What the hell was her roleplayer doing, she was losing all their aura. Or whatever twolegs these days called it.
Alongside the Commander was Nightshiver. The White Lady was cheerful and Hollowhawk couldn’t help but match energy. “Thank you, Nightshiver. Genuinely.” A grin taking place of the blank expression she had defaulted to as they forcing a lashing tail to wrap around their paws. Keeping her gaze on the forever Queen. Family relations were so confusing, but this was one that was welcome. Hollow would never give the Queen the title of Mother, that was reserved, but it didn’t shift their idea of Nightshiver. She was simply Nightshiver, and that wasn’t going to change. It would just take some time getting used to.

Well, Bleedingpaw and Rookfire were taking far too long to acknowledge her question and now she'd forgotten what she had asked. Her mind was far more distracted by the ceremonies at paw, considering one was HULLO. As her Mama finished up their rounds and started cheering, Scorp's voice rose above everyone's -- the best she could -- to make sure her friend was aware she was here.
"HULLOOO!!! HOLLOWHAWK!!
and of course, the others got a small chant afterwards. She couldn't let them feel left out. Especially not Fishbite, whom she thought was weird to begin with. No need to make it more obvious.
"STEMSTONE, FISHBITE, TIGERNIGHT!"
The moment Mama released the clan, Hullo was no longer safe. Oversized pawsteps went thundering across the clearing. The next thing anyone knew, Scorp's forelegs were wrapped around Hollowhawk's shoulders and the sheer weight of the impact sent them both spiraling to the ground. Then, Scorp proceeded to do the unthinkable... a wet lick across the muzzle.
"OH MY STARS, CONGRATS!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE A WARRIOR NOW!!" She squealed, quickly skittering to her paws before Hollowhawk could give her face a chomp. A quick shake of her fur and Scorp was back to her normal, smiley self, waiting for the reaction. She'd probably get smacked, but that was fine.
"Not really much I'm afraid I know of where the thunderrats are and that's about it"
Lynxpelt nodded dismally. Seemed half the mentors in this Clan couldn't train. "Well, I will do my best to train you," he mewed, his eyes still flickering with irritation at the lack of effort by his fellow warriors.

A good talker... who's he talking to now? she looked around, then after a split-second realized he was talking about her! Stars! I have bees in my brain! How do I recover from that?!"M-me? I wouldn't say that. I hardly talk at all! I-I'm mostly out in the forest. The pine smells sooo nice and sometimes the bugs make really relaxing sounds... I could just sit in the shadows allllll day..."
She smiles fondly before realizing she was rambling, and quickly paused, embarrassed. "Oh! W-what do you like to do?
Blackjaw smiled slightly at Mosstangle's words, but kept his gaze fixed on the ground. Laying there looking like he was pouting wouldn't help anything, but he couldn't help but feel dejected. He took a deep breath in and out, glancing up at Morningpaw, who was looking at Mosstangle, talking to Wildkit about her. "It seems your apprentice is fond of you," the tom mewed, a little spark of a laugh under his voice.
