Gorsekit wandered up to the silver tabby Tom. "Hi, Streampaw! Are you patrolling today?" She asked. But she didn't let him finish before continuing "Please can I go with you? Please please please?" She huffed as he shook his head, the sun catching his silky fur making it shine. "I promise, we'll have so much fun together! Come ooooon!" But he only chuckled and turned away, shaking his head still.
Gorsekit plodded around the camp, doing odd jobs here and there. Then her Identical littermate, Douglaskit, scampered over to her while she was resting under a tree in the SkyClan camp. "Gorsek-kit? Do you h-have a m-m-moment?"
"What's the m-m-matter?" Gorsekit mocked. "N-no, Gorsekit. I-I-I accidentally was walking around the territory-" he paused "I got lost," then continued "I overheard to Syndicate cats talking!"
"Oh my gosh!" The brown tabby gasped "You went into the territory?" Gorsekit continued to joke. "Then I saw them, a she-cat and a Tom. And another cat...the Tom scratched the she-cat across the face! Umm...then I saw the she-cat kill a cat!" Douglaskit wailed "I actually recognise the Tom and she-cat, and their scent. They've been on the borders many times before!" Now Gorsekit was serious "okay, we have to tell Grousestar."
"B-but she won't b-believe t-two k-kits like us!"
"She will cause I'll make her!" The green eyed kit growled. She stepped forward and nuzzled her brother comfortingly. "Here, it's okay Douglaskit. We'll all be fine. The Warriors can handle this. Come on, relax in the shade with me okay?"
"O-o-okay." The brown tabby Tom kit nodded, his voice croaky and sore from all the yowling.
