Jupiter’s head naturally quirked-- her curiosity was sparked now. Where would Saturn take her, she wondered; there was only one way to find out. “Don’t get greedy,” she mewed, lightly headbutting the other she-cat but drew back, bright green eyes taking in her visage in its fullest form; there was no denying the fact that Saturn was very, very good-looking. Rather deliberately, she neatly stuck her tongue upon the tip of the other molly’s nose, purring all the while. “Is that good enough, or are there any more places I missed?”

"I guess you can save the rest of the kisses for the date, honey." Saturn purred. Standing up she gave a small stretch, before gazing around her in the direction they were going to be going. It was almost the peak of sunset-nothing more romantic then that, right? "Its a surprise though, just follow me." the fighter said excitedly. Walking past Jupiter Saturn returned a small, quick lick to the cheek before continuing to walk past, and deeper into Syndicate territory.

Plodding dutifully after Saturn, Jupiter raised her tail, somewhat enthused about the way everything was going. She had never really had anything like this, and the speed at which things were occurring was somewhat unusual for Jupi. She nodded quickly, eyes wide, suddenly having gone quiet; this was the Jupiter she usually was, the one who observed from a backseat.

As excited at Saturn was she slowed down a bit to have Jupiter at her side instead. Saturn didnt feel the need to talk, instead basking in the comfortable silence and enjoying the other shecats presence rather then opening her mouth and saying some stupid flirt. The walk wasnt too far seeing as they were deep in Syndicate territory as it was, but Saturns smile only grew upon seeing the sight. It wasnt anything interesting to look at, it was a simple pile of tall rocks, aged and moss growing between the cracks. But on the top was a simple but large flat rock, and thats where the true beauty was. "Before you judge my pile of boring rocks, lets get to the top first. Shouldnt be to much of a climb though," Saturn stepped back for a moment, golden gaze looking back to Jupiter, "Ladies first, madame." she gave a smirk. Even if she wouldnt admit it the only reason she was having Jupiter climb first was so Saturn could be behind her so she wouldnt fall. As much as she liked seeing the fighter on the ground, she didnt want her to get hurt. She wouldnt admit this outloud, instead covering the gester up with some tacky petname.

Jupiter was completely and utterly baffled by the sudden change of things, and it was evident in the way she placed each paw. With each step after hesitant step, the glow started to burn off, and although Saturn seemed to be brimming with energy, Jupi began to withdraw. Again. The small hill of stones faced her, and she quirked her head, olive eyes expressing clear confusion. “Excuse me if I decide to judge now, but uh… These are some pretty nice rocks?” She was doing so well, and she’d gotten all awkward again. The raised tone at the end of her sentence made it blatantly clear that she had literally no idea how to react to what was in front of her, but she quirked her lips upward at the well-meaning gesture. Drawing back her haunches, she settled into a crouch for a moment or two before launching onto the pile, a couple of paces up already.

Saturn rolled her eyes,"Just shut up till you get to the top of the rocks, its a nice view." She wasnt surprised that Jupiter hadnt been here before; it was deep in the territory and most didnt travel this far. Despite Saturns more...self centered type of personality- she was a sucker for views. "If you climb faster then you are now maybe we'll catch the sun while its setting." the shecat mumbled as she pounced on the rocks with ease, pulling herself up along side the other fighter. She looked over at her for a moment though,"Its worth it, I promise."

Especially when he was attacked from behind. His former trainer had told him that he needed to work on that type of thing, but Arrow just hadn't managed to get to it. Which wasn't going to be good in the end. Hopefully Ebony had good intentions with inviting him out into the territory, although Arrow doubted it... the brown tabby feline often doubted that anyone could have good intentions in a place like this. The east border. He hadn't really thought about it much before agreeing, honestly.
Wherever she wanted to go was fine with him. By nature he was a follower, not a leader. A follower with a guarded heart and an even more heavily guarded mind. Making it quite hard to get to know him. There wasn't a lot that Arrow knew about Hannibal, his companion's brother. Just that he was well know for being a gentleman. Polite. And... a killer. Fear was obvious within the hearts of cats who knew of Hannibal.
When they spoke of him, Arrow had always detected the underlying scent or tone of fear. He wondered if she was afraid of him as well. With family, there was always a certain bond... a blood tie. It could not be broken. It could not be snapped, ever. He had never understood why a family member would kill another. Because after all, wasn't family the most important thing? The dark tom continued into the territory, before falling back so that she could come alongside him. If an attack was being planned here, at least he would have more of a chance. At least it would be more fair this way. The last thing that Arrow wanted was for an unfair fight to ensue in this place. And the worst part was, that he sincerely doubted anyone would care if he were to die. If he were to disappear from the Dusk Syndicate, what cats would truly care? He wasn't sure. It hurt, but he wasn't sure.
Dark hues glanced over at the mismatched ones of his fellow member. "So. Do you have any other siblings, besides..." His voice trailed off, not even wanting to say the dreaded cat's name. And he wasn't sure what kind of emotion it would envoke in his companion. As far as he knew, she could have the same types of instincts as he did. They were bonded by blood, after all. And everyone knew that blood bonds were a lot stronger then friendship ones.

Ebony followed behind him silently, the night's air was warm but not too much. That was what she enjoyed more about green leaf nights: they were always the optimal temperature for travel. She didn't even mind it when it rained on her evening patrols, which happened quite frequently here and almost always with thunder and lightning. That didn't scare her either, if anything she was always curious of the flashes that lit up the sky and rumbles that shook the ground beneath her paws, a reminder that there were things so much bigger and unknown to her. That if she wanted, she could just leave, explore and start a new life; albeit lonely. Her feet landed lightly as she moved through the silent forest, bright mismatched eyes almost pure black to soak in every ounce of light that the sliver of a moon provided. They flicked back and forth, focusing on the fireflies that lit the spacious forest. Most of the trees here were scattered or dead, which made it the perfect place for hunting. Though in the evening you had to be cautious of owls here too.
As the tom cat slowed, Ebony caught up to his side, no longer behind him like a shadow with her sleek charcoal pelt. For a moment, they moved silently, and she was quite content in the silence, it didn't feel awkward to her as it might to some of the more social cats. Though as he asked the question she couldn't help but feel the corner of her mouth quirk upwards. He couldn't even bring himself to say the name, like many cats of the Syndicate. Even she feared her brother, but not for her own safety, always for the safety of others. It made her uneasy to think she could be putting Arrow in harm's way for trying to befriend him.
"Hannibal?" She asked in return, a smirk on her face as she finished his sentence. Then she turned to stare into the forest behind her and shrugged with a little sigh. "Yes, two sisters. Who knows what they are up to these days, I haven't seen either in awhile except for catching them on their way in or out of the den. We aren't close." She made sure her tone was very conclusive, she didn't really feel like exploring her family dynamics with the tom yet, plus the less he knew the better really. "Do you have any siblings?" She asked, glancing over at him again with curious black eyes, ringed with blue and olive.

Arrow could recognize that tone in a heartbeat. The quick, complete, yet not overly informative answer was one he used far too often. It was one used to get out of things, honestly. One that could be used when you were willing to give a little, but not much information. "Not that I've spoken to in the last... 20 moons or so." Arrow himself was 37 moons old at the moment, and he hadn't spoken to his siblings since he was around 15 moons old - hence the last twenty moons or so area.
Fireflies lit up the night, beautiful, delicate things - for some reason, Arrow had always loved delicate insects. Butterflies. Fireflies. Dragonflies. Pretty much anything with the word 'fly' in it's name, besides the actual creature, Arrow could appreciate. He was willing to give a little more information on his siblings. As they had no real connection to him anymore, though every once in a while he would hear names whispered around the clearing that he recognized, Arrow decided that he could tell her a little more about them. "I have two brothers and a sister." Okay, now that should be all the information that she needed. That he needed to give. The brown tabby continued onwards, his paws falling gently against the ground. How quietly they moved was surprising, considering he was quite muscular and large - but he could move as silently as though he were being hunted. Even his heart rate was down, calm, like he was no longer fearful of Ebony. And honestly?
He wasn't. The she cat wasn't feared company, after all, though Arrow was still going to be wary. Wary of this potential friendship, or at least understanding - perhaps if he were to see her by that stump again he would go, sit, and study. Yes, study... Arrow studied other cats. Not really in a creepy way, it was more of in a way of asking questions and getting answers about different things.

Ebony could feel herself itching to know more about the tom cat who padded along beside her, but she knew better than to be pushy. Curiosity was one of her greatest weaknesses, it was what had led her to the fateful day she witnessed her family being destroyed. She wasn't sure if any of her sisters had seen but from that day forward she'd sworn to never let her curiosity get the better of her and ruin her future again. If she hadn't seen she could have at least been oblivious to the ruin that was her brother Hannibal, and she wouldn't have the amount of fear that resided deep in her heart, constantly threatening her with anxiety. Though she was experienced at suppressing the emotion at this point. It had been at least 25 moons since the incident. She was almost forty moons by now, though she'd lost track and age didn't matter to her; they were all bound to die someday no matter the age. Besides, she hadn't offered Arrow a lot of information about her own family, so she couldn't possibly expect him to be anymore open than herself.
The thought made her sigh. She wished it could be a one way highway; that he'd automatically understand her lack of willingness to elaborate was for his own protection, but she knew that was a fantasy. Once again the pessimistic side of her whispered insecurities in the back of her mind, telling her that she couldn't have anything nice, that she couldn't have friends, that she could never have a family again; love. The voice was a constant reminder that Hannibal would ruin it all the moment she had it, like he had so many moons ago which had caused her to stoop into the insecure anxious mess that she was inside; the cat that nobody knew except herself and the cat that she saw dying, alone. Lonely.
her head hung a little lower as the silence pressed on after he'd spoken, she wasn't sure how to respond as her thoughts darkened and the depressive thoughts settled in. She glanced over at Arrow, wondering what was going through his mind as they padded along quietly, if he was still scared or unsure of her. She wasn't afraid of him, the black feline wasn't afraid of anything truly. She had nothing left to live for, all she feared was her actions hurting others before she parted this world. Honestly, she viewed death as a sort of sweet relief from this world but couldn't bring herself to suicide, she quite enjoyed living day to day so long as she could keep her mind in check. Though she couldn't help feeling like death might someday offer her the peace of mind she so desired.
Though that wouldn't offer her the companionship she so craved and desired and would leave her with a life unfulfilled and miserable in the afterlife. So once again the anxious cycle that swung through her mind and made it spin took over and she couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed and dizzied by the confusion at how to gain a friend without putting them in harm's way. Ebony really liked Arrow, they had a lot of similarities that were hard to find in the Syndicate. Though as she felt her heart rate increase and her chest feel tight with indecision her mouth just hung open, words that she needed weren't there. So she snapped her mouth shut and stared at her paws instead, carefully watching her steps, counting them quietly in hopes of calming herself down and in hope that Arrow had the social skills to guide the conversation to a relaxed tone again.

The brown tabby felt a sense of close-to contentment - along with, grudgingly, some regret. The conversation he had with the black cat made him feel like there were finally a few cats in the Syndicate who actually weren't either shy, overly optimistic, or manipulative. He didn't fit any of those definitions. It was a "defying stereotypes" type of situation, though Arrow didn't think of himself as the type of cat to defy a stereotype. The only reason he was even still in the Syndicate was out of fear. He guarded himself. He gave away as little information as possible. And while other cats in the Syndicate did that as well, they were always hiding something. Some big secret that it would kill everyone else to know. Or at least, that's how it looked in their eyes. Over the moons, Arrow had discovered that these "big secrets" always ended up being not as big of a deal to other cats. Some were, some weren't. But to him, the less known about someone? The better. So maybe they were right anyways.
Though Arrow didn't like the scary-looking, secretive types that were always hiding in the shadows... kind of like himself, although he was at least polite to the other Syndicate members. These cats? In a way reminded him of Ebony, though she was a little nicer then he had suspected. Trust was earned - not given - and so once she had proven that she had earned it, he would be willing to open up to her. If she were manipulative and cruel and used information against him, well... then Arrow could leave the Syndicate. Leave this awful place that he was confident he didn't want to stay in for much longer anyways. The Syndicate scared him at times. Yes, scared - he was frightened of the cats within it. Something he would never, ever admit, but it was the truth. Fireflies looked like stars, the only noticeable difference being that every once in a while something he thought was a star would blink, and flicker out, showing that it was one of the small insects. Beautiful creatures. Arrow could never bring himself to kill any type of animal that was so delicate. Well, there was a difference between prey and animals that didn't deserve to be killed. Other cats included. An unspoken law of the Syndicate seemed to be 'kill or be killed,' and yet the tabby refrained from it when possible. Because he found that it didn't make him happy to kill other cats. Most of them deserved to live, anyways. Good cats made bad choices - it was something he had learned long ago. And a bad choice was not something you deserved to die for. He was hoping that he would be shown some mercy in the future, if he were to show others mercy. Though that wasn't something that would get him places.
"Do you know any other cats in the Syndicate? Or are they all scared of -" He stopped for a moment, contemplating whether this was a delicate subject to go on... and at the same time trying to work up the courage to speak the dreaded tom's name, before he was able to continue. "Or are they all scared of Hannibal?" There. He had said it. Part of him wondered if speaking it was like bringing a curse on himself, though he knew that was silly. It was crazy to be frightened of a name in itself, though that particular name - just the name alone - was a frightening one. It sounded like something out of a nightmare. And seeing the cat, Arrow could understand why the parents might have chosen that particular name.
Arrow glanced at Ebony, her dark pelt seemed to blend into the shadows so well - though he could still see her, having good vision, but had he been less capable of seeing through the shadowy darkness, only her bicolored hues gleaming would have been visible. It would be something that he would not wish to see in the dark of night, when he was already worried about being attacked - and a gleam of amusement entered his own eyes as he thought about a prank involving her oddly mismatched eyes.
