Rosekit blinked. "Is he happy in StarClan?" She asked sadly,her eyes shining. "Cuz he should come back if he isn't!" She mewed, crossing her tiny paws. Rosekit knew of StarClan from the other kits, and their mothers. "The others said StarClan is all peaceful and nice." She added.

Pearlstream's gaze swept over the crowd. Where was Daturakit? Suddenly the sound of someone yowling her kits name hit her ears. She waited a while, just to make sure it truly was her kits name, and then she took off. Pearlstream's gaze raked the crowd as she ran, searching for her kit. Her gaze caught on Echoskip, and a small shape. Daturakit. Pearlstream picked up her speed until she was at their side.

Echoskip noticed Pearlstream, and exhaled softly. "Good, good. The poor dear is soaked to the skin, I've been trying to keep her warm."

Their paws slid in the mud, white fur stained brown. Green eyes pulled wide with fear as they ran; if the water flooded higher, they couldn't swim and would be pulled into the current. Avocetpaw let out a sharp yelp as their paw hit a sharp rock; they felt the pad split, the toughened black skin left open to the freezing water and mud. But they didn't stop moving, tucking up the back paw and hobbling forward on three legs. Avocetpaw watched the ground carefully, assuring they wouldn't ruin another foot. Their ears flattened, and they whimpered quietly, the pain sharp and jarring. But, they raced forward, eyes locked towards the horizon, where RiverClan would be waiting.

Desertpaw let out a slight whimper as she tried to view the world with her one good eye. The world look like it was in chaos. Cats from her beloved clan were scrambling to escape the clutches of the water and mud that drenched Desertpaws long pelt. She was 12 moons, almost a warrior, so she assumed she would have to suck it up and continue on. She wasn't going to fail at this moment in time. The she cat used her powerful legs to push herself up the ledge to higher ground. Hard rain pelted her like bullets. She could hear the sloshing of mud as she moved her legs. Desertpaw pinned her ears back against her head as she tried to think of happy memories to get her through this time of chaos. She thought about her family and how they would always love her no matter what. They showed that to be true when she came home with half if her face missing. She then thought about Tigerpaw and how he and she would talk to no end. She smiled at this until she remembered that he left her. He left her alone in the world when she really thought she had found a friend... desertpaw felt her heart break at this thought... remembering how she would go to the border every day hoping she would see his face again, but never again would she see his kind eyes that made her heart skip a beat. Once to the top of the hill, she found that she had lost the group, but she continued on anyway in order to survive. She just hoped her family was ok. Desertpaw trudged into the forest in search of higher ground. She turned to look at her home and the waters that were taking it away from her.

Redfeather limped into the medicine cats den his fur soaking wet and caughing he sat down in the back and lifted his broken paw and shivered from the cold water on his fur.

Pearlstream looked at Echoskip, her eyes warm. "Thank you." she breathed, walking closer. "Daturakit." she whispered over and over again. Her gaze was filled with appreciation, horror, and relief. Thank StarClan Echoskip had seen Daturakit! "Are you alright?" she asked her kit, covering her with frantic licks. Pearlstream was so relives. Daturakit was safe. It didn't matter to her if anyone except her and her kit were safe at the moment.

Sagegrowl purred, though her amusement quickly faded. "He can't come back Rosekit, he's dead." Her words stuck in her throat. They were so aggravating. It was worse that Rosekit didn't understand, so she had to repeat it over and over and again. It hurt Sagegrowl to have to talk about her mate dying. But she had to.

Shortsouls ears whent down when she saw wildpaw burie her face in her paws. "Everythin will be ok I'll be here" she meowed softly and wrapped her tail around the apprentice and cuddled her. The vitiligo she cat licked her own paws , she then looked at the water and the other stuff that was floating in it .shortsoul saw some more cats helping each other or other cats being stuck . She sighed and put her head on her paws.

Rockkit nodded and the two charged into the flooded den, quickly gathering up every last herb that was still intact, not caring about them being mixed up. Rockkit could help Daypaw organise them later. "Also, Daypaw, if you don't mind...may I stay and help you with your patients? I think the rest of my family are leaving," The grey cat glanced at his brother, Wolfpaw, hoping to get some confirmation of the family's departure but there was no reply. "But I really would like to stay...high up...I can't stand the thought of leaving everyone else behind. And...it looks like you could use an extra pair of paws...or more" He added at the end as he noticed other warriors supporting patients. Rockkit then smiled excitedly, waiting for the medicine cat's reply. "If there's anything else your patients might need, Daypaw...I will go out hunting later...or at least search around for some decent prey left behind in the waters." Wolfpaw spoke again, sniffing around the rocks to hopefully pick up the strong scent of fresh leaves and roots.

Daypaw grabbed a few herbs themselves before answering. "I appreciate the thought. They will need as much prey and shelter they can get. I'll put you in charge of taking care of a few of them while Im down here getting everything I need." They wanted the kit and the apprentice to stay above ground. They would rather they be taking care of Daypaws patents while they were down in the clearing getting more cats they could get their paws on. They were only an apprentice and a kit here already doing so much, Daypaw would rather them be above ground helping and leaving the dangerous rescuing to them. Once grabbing the herbs they started to make their way out of the den. Small splashes at every step they took of water,"Lets start climbing the hill, as much as I like your help down here I dont want to risk losing you."

Daypaw was currently in a rush getting herbs from their den, other cats had been cleared out and were safe upon the hill and Daypaw was the last to get out. Their ear twitched at hearing a cat step in, limping from a broken paw. Daypaw turned to the warrior,"Shadowclans having an evacuation, I need to get you to higher ground before I treat you." the apprentice said hastily. Then they remembered their broken paw. They leaned down so the warrior could settle on the apprentices back, "Cmon, I'll carry you to the top."

Echoskip curled her tail around Daturakit and pulled her close, watching Lucky. "Is there anything you need?" She asked with concern.

Moonsplash nodded, gazing around the den and waiting for the medicine cat to tell her which cat to grab, her ears were pricked and her fur soaked as she turned to Ebonymist with a tiny smile. Trying to reassure both of them, in a way.

Clovermist ran out of the camp. "Suntail, c'mon! We have to go!" She yowled. This was totally unexpected! She thought as she worked her paws in the mud. If Suntail doesn't hurry we'll die! "Suntail! Come on!" She yowled again.

Suntail sprinted after her,"run, run!" He yowled.
