Lionkit tipped his head," Are all the trees in the forest dead like the ones I can see from camp?" He meowed curiously. He had heard about the fire many moons ago, but it weirded him out that all the trees were dead.

"from what I seen it looks like it has grown back and bigger from what it used to be" she answered the kit, she didn't really remember much about any cat talking about it or what had happened then only that there was a fire in the forest.

Lionkit nodded," How long every day do apprentices train is it from dawn to dusk or what?" He knew he'd need to prepare himself for those long days.

"depends sometimes apprentices stop training early or if they get hurt they cant train till they are better but training does start early at dawn or before dawn" she looked off into the distance then started watching her kits.

Lionkit nodded," Good to know. I'm pressuming battle training involves sheathed claws rather than unsheathed since I don't often see apprentices limping back to camp."

Firesparks smiled at the tom as he spoke. "I have all the confidence in the world that you will be just fine, Hawkfeather. Now get over there before someone else does," she mewed happily. The she-cat nuzzled her mate some more as she watched his friend walk to the cat of his dreams, or at least she thought that was the case. He obviously loved her enough for that to be so. She purred loudly as he started licking her head, and tilted it as he stopped and spoke. "What?" she asked, gazing up into his green gaze. If she wasn't careful she'd zone out in them. It was difficult not to.

"I love you," Owlspark answered with a goofy grin, briefly touching her nose before turning the tap into a full blown nuzzle. "I still can't believe you said yes," he admitted after a couple heartbeats, pulling back with a slight chuckle as he gaze back at Firesparks. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with this she-cat. Hunting together, raising litters of kits, and later residing into the elders den together to watch their own family grow and start their own little families. A happy sigh escaped him at the thought and his eyes simmered with a gentle love as he continued to stare at his mate. Who would have thought that these two would wind up together? Before talking to Firesparks, the tabby certainly wouldn't have considered that possibility. But now that he had that outcome, he couldn't imagine it any other way. There was no other molly he wanted by his side than the orange cat beside him.

"correct, sometimes apprentices don't always listen though, I suggest you keep that in mind incase when you become an apprentice incase another apprentice doesn't have their claws sheathed" she said still keeping an I on her kits

Lionkit nodded," Right. Do you only train to hunt rabbits, or do you learn to hunt a little bit of forest prey...I'm pretty sure you don't learn to fish."

Caracalspirit liked the feeling of the wind blowing through her fur. The young she-cat was slightly pulling ahead of her friend, her eyes shining as she continued to run. It reminded her of being an apprentice. They reached the top as she panted. "N-Nah, you aren't a mousebrain." She panted, ears pricking as she gave his ear a friendly cuff. Her chest heaved from the long run, but she still felt energized. She hadn't been able to do that in a long time. Her gaze turned to where his was, the view making her inhale. Caracalspirit flopped next to him, gazing at the sky. It was the best moment she'd had in awhile, and a tiny laugh bubbled out. "W-Well now ya don't have to." She chuckled, still slightly out of breath from the run as she spoke. A small purr coming from her. She returned the grin, her ears pricked as she purred louder. She sat up, her fur ruffled and a few strands of grass, which she shook out, clinging to it. She glanced over at him, a goofy smile on her face and her tail flicking. She turned her head to him, laying next to him with a happiness on her face. The air was warm, calm, and she felt at ease. All tensions between the Clans pushed to the back of her mind as she purred and lay next to Hawkfeather, her whiskers twitching. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling something big was going to happen.

Hawkfeather chuckled at her words, looking at the beautiful she-cat laying in the grass beside him and he couldn’t help the smile that slipped onto his maw once more. He closed his eyes for a few seconds as a calming, warm breeze ruffle through his short, tan fur. The young warrior watched the clouds slowly drift by above them, his tail twitching in the grass beside him as this was happening. “Ever since I was born, other cats always called me weak and skinny, not strong enough to be a clan cat. The other apprentices would make fun of me due to that, Owlspark was the eldest apprentice at the time and was the only one that stood up for me, he would scare all those apprentices without trouble, heh.” He remarked, looking up at the sky in another pensive mood, “I wasn’t always the confident tom that everyone really knows me as. I was once a scared, little apprentice. I suppose that it serves me right that I was never chosen to go on that patrol to rescue one of our own from Thunderclan - they want the stronger, tougher warriors of Windclan.” Hawkfeather shook his head, “Everything is my life's seeming to catch up with me. My best friend finally settled down with someone, heh, the lucky mouse-brain had the courage to speak his mind to Firesparks.” He glanced at Caracalspirit out of the corner of his eye for a small moment before looking back towards the sky, “And then there’s me, only loved one she-cat my entire life and still the scared little apprentice that I was so many moon ago.” He blinked at his paws, the warrior going silent with his words.
