She turned her gaze to him as he began to speak, her ears pricked. She listened silently, leaning in closer as he did, soft comforting purrs vibrating from her throat. She listened, purring as he spoke. She gazed at him, her eyes shining. Caracalspirit, despite her slight kit-likeness, was known to be serious in certain situations. She kept her gaze on him, not wanting to look rude. She followed his gaze for a second, her whiskers twitching in the brief silence. She turned back to him when he began speaking again, focusing on his words. She resumed her comforting purrs, seeing as they were probably better than words in this situation. She was thinking of something in the back of her mind, but still focused on his words. She looked at him as he spoke, a tiny shine in her eyes as he continued. Owlspark and Firesparks, that was her name, Firesparks! Caracalspirit thought, glancing up at him with a faint smile on her face. She purred still, her words formed in her mind for what she'd say to make him feel better. "Alright, I admit, you aren't the most muscular. But you've got other strengths, you're nice and loyal and friendly and a good cat and now i'm rambling.. sorry." She giggled nervously because of her little tangent. Now he'd think she was weird!

Hawkfeather turned his head to the side to gaze at her with his affectionate, softened amber-hued eyes. The words that she spoke were kind and he was touched that Caracalspirit would say such things about him, it made his pelt grow hot with embarrassment, but he gave a slight sigh when she didn’t catch on to what he was leading up to. He blinked up at the relaxing sky that sported a warm orange glow as birds passed overhead, most likely heading to the dense forested woodlands of Thunderclan. Hawkfeather’s jaws parted to speak, but no words seemed to form in his brain and he shut his mouth for a quiet moment. He thought back to what Owlspark and Firespark had said to him, the many tips and advice that he could rely on to assist him in such nerve wracking moments in his life. “You know, Caracalspirit, I’m not the youngest warrior in the clan anymore - I’m almost 20 moons old and all my friends have furthered their lives already, which makes me think that I should take the next big step in my life.” Hawkfeather sat up in the comfortable green grass, looking down at his paws. “I’ve always been such a nervous cat when it comes to life changing decisions and such. It really shows the cracks in that confident shell I wear all the time..” He turned his head to look at the she-cat beside him, a quiet smile on his face.

The tom kit shook his head, "I don't either." He reared up and caught the ball then tossed it back to her, his eyes lit with amusement. "It was probably one of my tired ideas." Woollykit stated, grinning, "We all know how those go."

He dug his claws into the soil and tried to keep his voice calm. "Please hurry," he meowed softly, watching Surgestorm chewing up the herbs. He listened as Surgestorm spoke softly to Ambercloud. He sounded confident, and that helped immensely. The little apprentice sheathed his claws and to a long deep breath, his attention split between his mentor, and his silent prayers to Starclan.

Amber's blood went cold as she realized she could no longer move or feel her paws. The numb sensation spread along her until she could only feel her head.
"I- I can't- feel my body," she gasped. "Surgestorm, I'm going to die, aren't I?" The fear in her voice was unmistakable.

(Hey, sorry about the wait. I was away from home and my computer for this whole week, so I was unable to respond until now)
Surgestorm face remain nuetral, even as her words sent a jolt of concern throughout his whole entire body. He wracked his mind for the reason why her body would go numb, but couldn't remember what Turtleback had taught him about poison. He figure, however, that this was her body's way of deal with the shock and pain of the poison. "You may be going into shock," He meowed softly, trying to remain calm. The warrior was extremely afraid though, and he knew that he had to act strong for her and her apprentice. "I believe you can live, Ambercloud. You are strong, you can do this." The medicine cat looked to the apprentice. "We're going to need to get her back to camp." He turned back to the warrior. "You may soon go into and out of consiousness, but don't be afraid. I'm doing my very best to help you through this."

The she-kit snickered, catching the ball and glancing around before throwing it back towards him, her whiskers twitching and tail flicking with joy. "Yeah, probably." She giggled, a smile on her face. "Yeah, badly." She teased with a chuckle.

Caracalspirit blushed as she noticed what he was leading onto.. or was that just her brain? "Uh-I-I think I know what you're going for and I like it but I don't know if you were really going for that vibe or if it's just me being weird.." she rambled, blushing harshly. She was awkward when it came to this type of thing, but her eyes glittered. "And if you are then I feel the same way I just don't want things to be awkward if you aren't leaning towards that." She squeaked, a pile of awkward mess as she weakly grinned. "Uh.. so.. yeah." She giggled, turning away with a severe blush on her face and a tiny smile on it as well. Caracalspirit swallowed. "Alright, er, let me say that in a way that's.. understandable. I like you if you like me." She mewed, her ears pricked and her eyes darting around with a blush still on her face. He kept talking and it became clear. Okay, now she knew what Hawkfeather was talking about. Grinning, she gave him a little nuzzle, waiting to hear him agree. "Well now it's clear, and yes, Hawkfeather, I like you too." She giggled, her eyes shining the brightest they ever had despite her flailing awkwardness a moment ago, her whiskers twitching and her paws shuffling. I hope I know where this conversation is going, otherwise I made a total fool out of myself. She thought, her gaze meeting his.

"Cery funny. Well, I've been getting to know him. My plan was... not very great. I was going to use him and then break his heart." Chanterellepaw paused, looking at her paws. She sighed, then continued. "Well, that didn't happen. He ended up crying and confessing how his mentor's adder bite was his fault. I then stupidly decided to tell him about how bad of a cat I was and ran away. He's probably going to tell the whole clan." The cat hung her head, shortening her tall frame.

Hawkfeather’s heartbeat seemed to quicken in his chest as he heard her words, surprised that she had caught on from what he said. The young male had planned to say more, but it seemed that she had already gotten the point, which made him smile. A certain warmth seemed to spread throughout his body as he looked at the beautiful she-cat in front of him. “You aren’t being weird, trust me on that, okay?” He purred, attempting to reassure her worries, “And it’s only awkward if we make it awkward.” The tan-furred warrior chuckled, his tail flicking back and forth behind him as he spoke. Hawkfeather blinked down at the she-cat as she nuzzled him and he breathed in her sweet scent, which made him purr. Her soft, embarrassed giggles made him smile, knowing that he wasn’t the only nervous one in these kind of situations. He stood up, facing the lovely female before him, a proud smile on his maw. “Caracalspirit, ever since I met you, I knew that you were different than other she-cats. You made me feel alive and feel new emotions that I am still getting used to, you’re the most beautiful cat I’ve ever laid eyes upon and just hearing your laugh is like a gift from Starclan itself in my life.” The warrior knew that saying all this was a bit much, but he was going with his heart, “I am not a perfect tom, not the strongest nor the handsomest - but I believe that I can do all that I can to make you happy, make you feel wonderful and appreciated. I will protect you, care for you and I want to share a life with you.” He stepped closer to her, looking Caracalspirit right in the eyes with his loving amber-hued gaze, “I love you, Caracalspirit and it would be an honor if you would be my mate until the end of time.”

Emeraldpaw blinked, tilting his head. "That's.. a very bad plan." He admitted, wincing at what she'd say next. He glanced at Chanterellepaw, fearing her wrath. "But continue!" He added, untensing. He listened to her story, ears pinning back slightly as she spoke and he scooted slightly closer, his eyes shining. Emeraldpaw let out a silent sigh, giving her a friendly muzzle. She was a good cat, but Monarchpaw was more of a.. crush, she waas his best friend. "I'm sure he's not telling the whole Clan, don't worry." He mewed soothingly.

"Thanks, I needed that." Chanterelle sighed, calming down, and grinned mischeviously. "But you're gonna pay for that." The cat grinned and looked at Emeraldpaw deviously, emanating trouble. She leaped up gracefully and looked down at Emeraldpaw, towering over the sitting tom for the time being. She smiled mischeviously before tackling her friend playfully.

Re: WindClan Clearing
A multicolored tom sat in the clearing, cold, calculating eyes studying every movement that other cats made. Yet he made no attempt to join in any conversation, or to move towards any of the other kits. He sat by just watching. Mercurykit was wondering which of these cats would grow up to lead the now very-much pathetic WindClan. If only he or Cobaltkit or Silverkit were appointed as deputy someday, then everyone would learn. If only Thrushflight, one of their Dads, and Caramelblood - their other Dad, who had recently gone missing and was now presumed dead, ran the Clan. Then he was sure WindClan would be as supposingly amazing as it had been during the time Singenight had been leader. Whatever had happened to Singenight, anyways? Mercurykit wondered how come another leader had been able to take over, if the previous one had been as powerful and amazing as he had heard.
Though, to be fair, all of Grousestar's Clan had been there to back him up. The disloyal cowards of WindClan had scurried and split - and where had that gotten them? Back in a weak grasp. Mercurykit supported his family wholeheartedly, and they were, perhaps, the only things keeping him in WindClan at the moment. He hadn't seen his rat of a Mother around anywhere. Biological Mother, that was... Fawnflower. Mercurykit had been born without caring much for her. Yet family was important... and it sometimes made him feel uncomfortable or at the very least, hypocritical. Here he was, thinking family was so important, when his own Mother wasn't even a part of his life. She probably would have liked to be.
Though Mercurykit didn't want her back anymore, he was perfectly happy with his Dads and siblings. Despite the fact that Silverkit bothered him at times and Cobaltkit freaked him out sometimes, and Bronzekit was... dead, they were still a family. And family needed to stick together, at least that was how it worked in his mind. Even with a harsh, corrupted mind and heart... Mercurykit still seemed to have enough love in it for them and them alone.
@RedHead
The apprentice was getting older with every passing day. With every passing day she seemed to like Rookpatch more and more, and he seemed to be warming up to her, too. She'd seen him with his mate, and it had reminded her of the type of relationship she wanted to have someday. Rookpatch and Marigoldflower were so close. Like her and Rainpaw... Rainpaw. Just the mere memory of the name seemed to strike a little pain into Heartpaw's heart. She hadn't seen him much lately. He was growing bigger and stronger with every passing day, and it made her feel lonely sometimes, seeing him with his mentor. She was nearly ten moons old now. The Evil Era was over, the time when she had been a kit along with it. And four moons had passed since she had been an apprentice. Those past four moons had been filled with hard work. And sucess, though failure too. She had grown up a lot.
And she missed Rainpaw, she wished she got to see him more often. Perhaps... there was always a chance... Rookpatch was spending some time with his mate, so maybe now was Heartpaw's chance to see him? Heartpaw was not a shy cat. She had never been shy before. But she was feeling a little shy at the thought of getting to talk to her best friend again, like really talk to him. It had been moons since they had exchanged more then a greeting. He had apologized for what had happened at their ceremonies, and Heartpaw had forgiven him of course - but since then there seemed to have been a distance between them. Something that she couldn't figure out how to fill. It might take a miracle, but if that was what it took, then that was what the apprentice was praying for. A miracle.
