Kestrelpaw perked his ears as he sniffed the air, there was nothing. No birds chirping, no squirrels or mice bounding across the grass. "I don't hear or smell anything..." He said and frowned.

The golden ans white tabby let out a sigh. "Maybe we should go beyond the territory to hunt, at least until the forest grows back. It's not like anything would want to live here anyway," she said half-heartedly. She kicked the ashy ground, and let out a small sigh again. "Why did this have to happen to us?"

"I think that would be best, we need to get food for our Clan.." He said quietly. "Do you think anyone would get upset with us if we did?" He turned to look at Sunpaw. He didn't want either of them getting into trouble for going beyond the territory. 'But the Clan needs food..' He thought. 'They would have to understand... Right?'

She shrugged. "I don't know, I would assume they would understand," she said, shrugging as well as a cat could. "You know me, if we do get into trouble I'll take the punishment. I always do," she said, nuzzling up against his shoulder a bit.

"I would take the blame as well, Sunpaw." He licked Sunpaws cheek. "I don't know if they would.. We should stay away from the Windclan territory since they were affected by the fire as well."

"Agreed," she said, nodding her head a bit. She then set off toward the outskirts of the territory, away from any other clans' borders.
