Deertail flicked her tail happily from side to side, watching her kit. She determinedly pushed all unhappy thoughts out of her mind, wanting to savor Timberkit’s last days as a kit. He was growing up so fast!

Timberkit ran over to his mother, he was bigger than what he started out for sure. Though, he was still tiny. The kit smiled at Deertail "Mama!" He mewed happily, cuddling into her.
