Willowpaw flicked her tail as she entered the clearing, a trout in her maw. It was a good hunt, and she puffed out her chest, proud of what she did. The molly wasn’t even accompanied by her mentor, she did it all on her own! A small smile was on the lively felines face as she went over to set the piece of prey down. She felt like she could run laps around the camp after she completed the small milestone. It’s not like she cared about what the warriors would say if she did, a little scolding never tampered her mood. She could feel the energy practically pulsing through her as she started to take off, attempting to at least get rid of a fragment of the vigor she was currently enduring. But no, the swift movements seemed to only rile her up more. Going in full bounds around the camp she knew that she must look crazy, but the molly couldn’t care less about what they thought. Though, just as she started to feel the affects of the age full-on marathon she was doing, she bumped into another feline; sending them both spiraled on the ground.

Had Pebblekit been doing anything else interesting, then maybe, just maybe, he wouldn't have been spiraling across the clearing yowling in discontent! All he had wanted was to come outside and enjoy his final moments in the nursery before his apprenticeship, soaking up the warm rays of the new-leaf sun. It wasn't like he had gone more than a tail-length from where he had been lounging - even if he was still a bit smaller than the average apprentice. Needless to say though, the scrap of fur pounced to his feet glaring daggers in the direction of Willowpaw. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" He yowled at the apprentice, though he was already rushing over to make sure she was ok. "You aren't hurt, are you?" The younger cat tilted his head to the side, awaiting her answer.

Snailriver looked up at the molly that had approached him and shifted. Why would she decide to bother him of everyone? He shook his head and snapped, "Why are you bothering me Mintflower?" His reply was short and cut. He didn't want company he only wanted to relax alone for some time. "This weather usually prevent others from seeking my company so I am enjoying it alright." He took a bite from the bird and his tail tipped unhappily. He had no interest in having this conversation. He took the final bite, rising to his paws and walking towards the river, close by, going past the cattail his white fur doing little to conceal him if she were to follow.

(Sorry for the short reply but had to get something out before the internet cuts and I will be in an airport for most of tomorrow)

"Oh come on, Snailriver, I'm not bothering anyone! We're clan members, we should be friends," The sandy she-cat purred, a mischievous smirk ever-present on her maw. She was having some harmless fun, what could possibly go wrong? "I love the rain, not because I'm a loner but because it's refreshing but hey to each their own I suppose," She stated, quickly trotting after the larger tom as he attempted to escape their conversation. "Hey! Don't run away from me, I'll have you know there are plenty of cats who would love to speak with me so if I were you I'd feel honoured!" She joked, giggling to herself ever so quietly as she did her best to keep pace with the pale tom. He sure was hard work, but Mintflower loved a good competition. Her sandy pelt was completely soaked, giving her a more sleeker appearance than usual. She allowed her gaze to wander for a moment, inspecting their surroundings curiously; everything was slick and shiny, and the whole forest looked clean and new. It was a nice change. "So, Snailriver, how's life going for you?" She inquired, settling right beside the large tom's side, a genuinely curious expression settled on her sandy features.

Clouddash nodded his mouth slightly salivating, "And plump too." He mewed wistfully, "I brought it to the nursery though so I suppose that make up for it." The gray and white tom said with a shrug.

Oakflame nodded, a light purr coming from him.."So, Cloud do you have an apprentice yet?" He inquired.

Oak faked a dramatic gasp. 'Cloud You liar! You'd be a great mentor!" he protested with a pout. Though his ears perked uo at his friends question. "Yep, names Spiderpaw." He grinned. "Though I did go to the wrong apprentice at the ceremony." He chuckled.

Clouddash let out a small snicker but shot his a sympathetic look either way, "I suppose it's not so bad then." The gray and white tom said to his friends as his blue eyes twinkled with amusement.

Hawkjaw looked around with a sigh. He had been feeling sad lately. Okay that was a lie. He was always sad. He wasn’t the most interesting cat out there or the most outgoing. He was just, Hawkjaw. He wasn’t a great big hawk it was a smart mouth either. In all honesty his name made no sense. He got up and went over to a shady place to sulk. He looked around. Most cats were at the competitions but, there were small kits looking for seashells here. Hawkjaw wasn’t a big fan of kits, all they did was whine and complain. He laid down and looked up. Have I caught a fish today? Yeah I have. He lifted himself up and padded towards the prey pile with a frown on his face. He grabbed a small fish and walked back towards his shady spot. He laid down again and looked at the prey before him. He ripped a bit of fish off and chewed. The other clans don’t know what they’re missing out on. He thought as he tasted the fish in his mouth. Hawkjaw then returned to his resting, sad face. He was a complainer and looked about the clearing. He looked for a cat that wasn’t doing the swimming competition and gave them a small nod. There was one cat he has never talked to, or at least thought he never did, Honeyglare. He also gave her a nod and went back to eating his fish.

Honeyglare was... actually in a rather good mood that day.

The golden tabby had done many things, and felt productive and accomplished. She woke up, on time, and got to jab some cat in the ribs for not waking up for the dawn patrol. Then, she got to play a few... tricks on that same sleep deprived cat. Ha. Then, Honeyglare had walked back to camp and found a bird's nest! Of all things! She brought 2 of the eggs back to camp in one piece. The other one definitely broke in her mouth. Yeah...

She licked her lips. That egg tamed her hunger, but she needed fish. So, Honeyglare headed toward the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a decent sized carp. she took her usual place beneath the shade of a nice birch tree, and started to devour the watery creature. She had to get her strength up for the swimming contest, right? The she-cat finished the fish and was about to run toward the swimming competition to beat the other cats into the dirt, but she saw something from the corner of her eye. It was a tom... nodding at her? Hmm, she was confused by the gesture. But she almost felt a need to humor this cat. "Hey," Honeyglare tilted her head, walking toward the cat.

Snailriver sighed and sat down facing the she-cat. "You're really going to talk to me huh?" His fluffy tail was still puffed up surprisingly and the white and orange fur looked a mix of grey and dark brown as the mud combined with the rain. He shifted his ears, the rain was finally bothering the huge tom. "I guess I do have to answer you..." Shifting yet again so his tail was tapping the ground softly next to his large white paws he stretched his back the soft fur rippling against his shoulders and ribs. "Life is life I assume. With all the rain there has been some good fish ending up on the shores sadly, and due to the extreme mud they're not edible." He shrugged slightly not interested in keeping up the conversation and laid down on the mud his otherwise white belly fur becoming brown almost instantly but it would be worth it. He rolled and with that got a bunch of the liquid mud spread all over Mintflower and laughed quietly. She was gonna get more of that if she kept messing with him.
