Blueheart froze "what?! Lose my warrior rank!! Lionstar are you insane?!" she questioned rage shining like a forest fire in her amber eyes. Well guess my new names Bluepaw... with a sigh and her tail twitching in anger Bluepaw turned then crouched.....Then sprang into a sprint out of camp headed towards the outskirts.

Once her eyes locked on her brother and his new found apprentice, the Sandy coloured she-cat made her way over, paws digging deep in the ground with each stomp. Finally she came to them, sitting beside her brother as those dull green eyes bore into the apprentice. "Congrats..." She grumbled to her brother, though her eyes never left the apprentice. Her mind swirled with insults for thier leader; what was he thinking?!?!

"It's a shame a valuable warrior has been demoted to apprentice status. Still, at least she wasn't exiled like- like Dirtfur."

He choked on the words. The reminder that his brother was gone, and he would never, ever see him again, stung more than just a little bit.

Yet another blunder by an idiotic Riverclan cat. At least she's not my clanmate!

The white she-cat frowned. Lionstar was quite far away, so it might have been difficult for Fogkit to read his lips. She leaned down and murmured;

"Blueheart got demoted to an apprentice again for leaving poor little Foxkit out in the territory by themselves."

"Thanks," Harepaw meowed bluntly. "Imagine being an apprentice for a few days and already getting a mentor switch," he sarcastically said aloud.

Ripplefur looked back and forth from Harepaw to Sandwhisker, amused. "You two get along well..." He chuckled softly, bumping his sister's side playfully. He turned back to Harepaw and smiled at him. "Did Bluepaw show you the territory yet?"

Catching the apprentice's malice cause a change of moods for the young warrior. She was angry at Lionstar, not her brother; he would have wanted her to get an apprentice too. However, the apprentice's words caused her angry to shift towards Harepaw, "Well you'd be so lucky to get my brother as a mentor; better than a slacking no-good." There was a venom in her voice as she lifted her noise in superiority. After a moment, she leaned into her brother, giving him an affectionate lick on his ear, "You're gonna do great." @sugarcubes @Bluepetal

Goosepaw glanced up again, confusion clouding his gaze. "Dirtfur?" he echoed. "Like, as in only-deputy-in-RiverClan's-history-according-to-Lionstar Dirtfur?" His tail tapped against the ground once, twice, three times. Hawktalon sounded upset by the traitor's exile. "Was he- were you two close or something?" he ventured.
