Ears perking up at his mentor's next instruction, he locked his gaze onto Duskmoth's paws. He seemed to be taking careful attention of where his paws were being place, but there wasn't anything fancy that he could tell. Boulderpaw looked to the rock before looking back at the warrior to see what he would do and say next.
There seemed to be some movement of his muscles, a shifting of weight to his hind legs? And like a loaded spring, his mentor leaped forward right at the rock, landing neatly on top of it. The young tom gave a small shiver of anticipation. Here goes nothing...
Looking carefully at his paws, he recalled the words, 'move forward without making any sound'. That was... Simple right? Staring at his front paws, he lifted one up and gingerly place it forward, moving his backpaw in tandem with it, though his hindpaw came down hastily out of fear of falling over, making a small sound as it plodded to the ground. Boulderpaw nervously glanced up to his mentor before looking back at his paws, moving his left front paw and backpaw next, legs shaky. Again, not completely silent, but... Good enough.
Once he was about where Duskmoth had been when he prepared to leap, Boulderpaw thought how the tom seemed to switch his weight to his hind legs in order to spring so he leaned slightly back, his hindpaws feeling heavy on the ground, eyes fixated on the stone. And he leaped. It was a good, solid leap and he landed squarely atop it, his claws scraping lightly against the stone before he looked over to his mentor with a sheepish grin. "Moving quietly is kind of.. Hard. That's normal right?"

Darkkit quietly took very small bites of the rabbit as she waited for the elder to get back, she really hoped that Oddeyes would get to be the new medicine cat apprentice like she wanted @Pouncepaw

"Alright!" The molly mewed, her tail swaying as she padded out with Cherrycutie wait what?! Sparrowpaw's face went red as she meet Cherrypaw's gaze. Her gaze quickly averted to her paws as she shuffled them, her heart was pounding! But..why was her heart pounding? This feeling was new for her! She didn't understand anything about it! Maybe, she could ask a warrior about it? Yeah! That's it! Sparrowpaw quickly followed Cherrypaw, her face still red. @kittygirl

Help me find some sort of vine or something." he chirped, wiggling his butt before hopping down. Stumbling a little bit. "Think there's any in the nursery?" he asked, weaving between the see through strangers, and black blobs that littered the clearing.

Duskmoth silently watched his apprentice's movements, studying his shaking legs to make sure he had a good idea of what the young tom needed to improve on. Boulderpaw was doing good for a beginner, better than his own first attempt for sure, but he should work on having more confidence in his paw steps. After the other pounced, he nodded. "Good job!" He thought it was good to keep the other encouraged during training since he seemed to be unsure.
"It's defiantly a skill in itself, you need to have a good amount of focus." He padded over and sat down, lifting a paw up in front of him. "Step first with your pads, not your whole paw. Take your time, you'll get the hang of this in no time." As he spoke he gently placed his paw down, toes first and the rest of his paw gently following. "As I said earlier, we don't have a lot of undergrowth here, so there won't be much to keep you hidden while you stalk." Wherever the grass was tall was an easier place for hunting prey, otherwise, they'd have to keep the prey from looking towards them to stay hidden.
"We could practice more with the stone, or, we could see if we could find a mouse or vole you could try to catch."

The light brown tabby apprentice was in search of a warrior who can hopefully explain these weird feeling she had for Cherrypaw. Her blue gaze swept across the clearing spotting Gentlemoo. Sparrowpaw took a deep breath, and made her way towards them, her face was still bright red form what her mind had said as she followed Cherrypaw earlier today. "Uhm....Gentlemoo?" The apprentice mewed, almost a hushed whisper. @Zesty Mango

Basilkit smiled,” There’s a vine on the ground in the elders den, I’ll get it” she chirped as she ran off into the elders den returning with a long, but slightly spiky thorn,” Careful it pokes!” she chirped

"Um, it's Sparrowpaw" The molly awkwardly corrected him "I was wondering if....If you could explain what this weird feeling I have is." She mewed taking a sit next to him, curling her tail around her paws.

Sparrowpaw shrugged and swiped at a small pebble, "Nothing, not like theres anything to do besides hunting with Cherrycutie........." After she accidentally said Cherrycutie instead of Cherrypaw her face went bright red as she covered her mouth with her paw. Her blue eyes went wide with embarrassment. @Starbot @Zesty Mango
