Sparrowsnap gave an exasperated groan. What an assumption! But she had to admit, he wasn't wrong...

"Well, that's one reason," she growled. "But not the main one." She held her breath for a few brief heartbeats, paws scuffling anxiously in the dirt. Should she tell him about her skirmish with Slashthroat and... and Swiftpaw? What would he do if he found out she went out to fight a Clanmate? Would he bring her to Icestar? Would he want the black-furred leader to kill her?

She let the words spew out, a brisk tumble of word-upon-word. "I went out to fight Slashthroat and Swiftpaw."

"You went out to fight... Slashthroat and Swiftpaw??" Bloodtooth sighed. "Why didn't you invite me?" He wasn't even mad. He didn't really like Swiftpaw anyways, and he didn't know who Slashthroat was, although he knew Slashpaw. @Cörruptly

Sparrowsnap rolled her eyes. "Look, I'll invite you to the next attack, all right? Cypresspaw and I are already going to be reporting to Icestar of it."

She assumed the black tom didn't know who Slashthroat was, and so she decided to tell him about all that, too. "Slashthroat is Slashpaw; she got jealous of my new warrior name and now demands that we call her Slashthroat or she'll kill us. Personally, though" -- she lifted up her chin arrogantly -- "I don't think she deserves the title."

Sparrowsnap shrugged, a bit lethargically. "Berrypaw of RiverClan, probably -- maybe Cypresspaw." She flopped down onto her side, a clout of dust rising around her. "Who knows, honestly?"

Blackkit said "my parents probably died," then he was starting to get excited he said excitedly "maybe I will get adopted."
