Bears, bugs, and Swans oh my!

Grizzlybug settles himself more comfortably as Swanfeather began his story and listened attentively. His bright orange eyes fell onto the lovely blue of Swanfeather and didn’t move much, only around the planes of his silver-white face.

The fluffy tom let his expressions follow the ups and downs of the story and he ended up beaming as Swanfeather spoke of being a ‘love doctor.’ He didn’t know what ‘cupid’ was, nor a ‘doctor,’ but he got the gist of it from the descriptions of helping other cats find romance.

Grizzlybug wished he had a ‘love doctor.’ Maybe they could help him stop crushing on every pretty tom he met and point him instead in the direction of The One. He was a big believer in every cat having The One. Grizz sighed dreamily, shaking away his thoughts, and smiled warmly as Swanfeather finished, purring,

“What a great story! Being a ‘love doctor’ sounds amazing! Wow, I wish I could see where those cats are now. Well, I certainly am glad that you found your way here! Especially since I’m sure some cats around here could use a bit of ‘love doctoring.’”

Grizzlybug gave a cheeky smile and pointed at himself with a paw. The fluffy tom laughed at himself and shook his head, replacing his paw on the ground. Grizz felt very lighthearted at the moment and almost like he was made of light! Maybe it was the mention of making cats happy and how it made Swanfeather happy. Grizz felt the same way and he loved hearing of other cats’ happiness even more than hearing of the most daring warrior stories that entertained the young cats of the clan.

“You sound like you’ve made a lot of cats happy. That’s amazing! There’s nothing more important in this world than spreading happiness.”

Swanfeather giggled.

"Makin' others happy is what I aim to do." He looked down in embarrassment, shuffling his paws. This attention was causing him to grow flustered and he didn't know how to react!

His tail twitched and he felt his ears burn.

"I wouldn' mind if ya wanted some love doctorin' yerself. Ya got quite the attractiveness 'round ya, 'm surprised ya haven' found yerself s'meone yet." His head tilted to the side and he offered a light smile, oblivious to any effect his words may hold on Grizzlybug.

The tips of Grizzlybug’s ears burned and he spluttered a bit when Swanfeather said he had ‘attractiveness.’ How was a cat that handsome telling him he was attractive? And not only was Swanfeather cute, but he seemed like a selfless cat; any cat who aimed to spread joy was someone Grizz wanted to be around.

Still blushing under his fluffy fur, Grizz shuffled his paws and smiled hesitantly. He looked at the ground before back up to Seanfeather and his smile grew to be more excited.

“You really think so? Well what about you! You should have the toms falling at your paws! If you really think you could help me with some love doctoring, though, that sounds great- I’ve always wanted to meet... The One.”
