Snowfern let out a warm laugh, "I can tell!" she mewed, nodding in approval. She started to look around a bit at the next statement, in an attempt to find something. There didn't seem to be much prey out here, but it was probably just hiding somewhere. "Well, if we find anything, I'll send you after it!" she responded, touching her tail tip to willowpaws shoulder. As she continued to look around, she noticed a large shadow that seemed to be circling above them. She cranes her neck to look above them and spotted a hawk. It was the biggest one she had ever seen in her life, and she felt terrified. As she watched it, it suddenly dove towards them, causing her to let out a sudden yowl, "Willowpaw! HAWK!" she called, even though her apprentice was right by her. Without thinking, she went to grow her body over her apprentices, but a small part in the back of her mind knew that she would be too slow.

Willowpaw barely had the time to look up at Snowfern in confusion from her call, she had drawn away from Snowfern slightly following a water vole scent. She let out a pained and terrified shriek as the hawk sunk its claws into her shoulders and refused to let go. She thrashed around and tried to free herself futilely, panicking as she clawed at the hawk before realising she was being lifted off the ground and sinking her claws into a root to try and hang on. "Snowfern! Help!" She wailed feeling the pull on her small body. The hawk seemed like it was determined to die before it let go of her.

Amberglow smiled as she heard the news. They were going to go home! Not to mention, the molly was even getting a little homesick. She was happy that ThunderClan would all be able to live a normal life again, and she would be able to get back to training Chivepaw.

Sparrowfrost went in a small circle, eyeing the water for fish. This lesson was swimming, but every experience could be another lesson.

Bitterheart and Stumblefoot collapsedat the water's edge. Bitterheart hissed as she plucked a thorn and a sharp piece of grit out of her paw pad, while her sister made sure there were no brambles in her hind paws.

Padding into the clearing, and dropping his prey, Fishfin waited for his apprentice before he called out to Rainywhisker. We've brought some prey. he mewed, dropping his 3 pieces. @implimm @Lynxpaw

Leopardpaw stood by Fishfin aand placed the vole,mouse and thrush down.

Fenpaw swallowed and stared down past the edge where he couldn't see the bottom. He didn't mind standing in the water where his feet touched the bottom, but beyond that, he had no idea if he would be any good at this. Surely, Sparrowfrost wouldn't let him drown, but that didn't make it any less intimidating. He stubbornly stood his ground for a few moments, trying to stretch time.

He just couldn't get himself to step off! That is until he felt a fish nibble at his back paw. He shot forward at that with a surprised squeak, splashing loudly into the deeper part of the cattail pond. He did manage to swim and keep his head above water, it just wasn't the most graceful looking thing.

Sparrowfrost tried to keep his laughing to a minimum, still trying to breath steadily, and made his way to the flailing apprentice. "Don't splash the water up with your paws, try to relax! The more you hit up, the more water in your eyes!"

He started back to shore, slightly pushing Fenpaw on his way. Even if he knew he'd be fine, the more energy he took getting scared of a little swimming, the more exhausted he would be later. They still had to look for fish yet!
