Theodore watched the she-cat with contempt in his gaze,
“Hello,” He meowed dryly, looking her over, “You know, this is my territory, so if I were you I’d back down and try to keep a civil tongue.”
His shredded green collar stuck out from his ginger and cream pelt, giving him a striking appearance,
“The name’s Theodore by the way, and who might you be?”

The young molly tried not to hiss or attempt a fight. Her opponent had the higher ground and despite Dawn's decent fighting ability, she was only 8 moons old and didn't have that much strength. Dawn usually ran on anger and manage to defeat others because anger made her bloody terrifying. She backed away slowly.
"I'm Dawn. And I wasn't aware anyone had any territory so I wouldn't have known. You don't have to get your whiskers in a knot." she replied in a surprisingly confident and dignified tone as she stepped back to where she came from, not moving her eyes from the cat. Dawn had no experience with border disputes as she spent all her life traveling and sleeping in trees.

Dionysus met his stare with an equally disparate gaze - one green and one blue, though both seemed clouded to some extent. His frame was lithe and tall, moving with an almost-practiced grace as he hopped down from his perch.

“There, see? It’s better not to fight when you know you can’t win,” Theodore jumped down from his crate and paced over to the she-cat, “Dawn huh? Pretty name, haven’t seen you around here before, so I suspect you’re new?” He stopped in front of her, “You look young, inexperienced, guessing you left your mother seeking adventure, or your mother died, or you got lost, those are the most common stories I get these days.”

Dawn was still on edge as she really did not like strangers. The tom sounded smug and that usually made her pretty mad. Dawn herself was quite rude and blunt, simply having grown up on her own most of her life.
"My family...scattered. And I don't care, neither should you. I'm going to leave your alleged territory and probably look for my own. I don't see why you keep this conversation going after I agreed to leave multiple times." she said with a sarcastic and cold edge to her voice as she slowly backed out of the territory.

Montag tilted his head in thinly veiled interest. This cat seemed...intriguing. And intrigue was a rather elusive sentiment.
“I’m Montag. I’ve not been this far out of Twolegplace before, but the hunting out here is just so very...easy. I feel inclined to stay a while.” He recounted coolly, a ghost of a smirk manifesting on his urbane features.
He draped his feathery tail over his faintly stained paws and flashed a winning smile, complete with unnervingly long incisors, “And to whom do I owe the pleasure?”

The fox squeezed in his crate and he nearly screamed. Until it uttered a cry! A... a word! Could foxes speak cat? No! No no. This was a cat! "I thought-- you?? What-- I???" Suddenly, the ginger tabby lost all ability to speak. He regained his composure quickly and cleared his throat. "I uh... kinda thought you were the fox. But! The sun was in my eyes and... listen! I was scared!" He defended himself, backing away from the cat ever so slightly. If they were one of those cannibals, at least he could have a quick means of escape. But for now, his gaze would just flicker from the cat to the exit.

Salt's ears twitched as he heard a yowl coming from somewhere. "Cedar- hold on tight okay?" The gray tabby rushed through the forest, turning at a large tree.
