Lily hesitated. Why would a random cat ask her to be friends when they had barely met each other like a minute ago. But, she would do the same. "Ok I guess. So, how long have you been in this place?" She mewed.

Meztli titled her head at the sitting she-cat. Wow, she was quite.. grumpy-ish. She just.. exuded a lonely presence. And Meztli wasn't to judge! She was solitary too, preferring to not interact with any other cats or chat. Stars, she hated chatting. Absolutely hated it. It was so distasteful, so uncomfortable. Especially when they were those dumb cats that acted like stupid parents and talked to younger cats in one of those idiotic baby voices.

Quetzal flinched at Meztli or whatever she said her name was said hello. She found herself not able to get up for a reason she could not figure out, so she awkwardly replied, "Um, He. I mean Hi." internally scolding herself for messing up the word 'hi' somehow, she continued speaking. "I'm Quetzal. Nice to meet you, I guess." Why is she even talking to me? She glanced down at her paws for a moment, unsure of what else to say. // @Cobra
