Tallkit nodded,she sat quietly to be respectful to the older tom.Really? Can You tell me! She was excited but stayed calm . She wanted a story,she needed one to become a apprentince.
Tallkit twitched a small bit. She looked up and closely at Rookstep her blue eyes meet his as she tucked her tail around her paws. She didn't mean to wake him up but eh.
Im sorry if I woke you up Rookey she had to atleast say sorry for basically invading his sleepy time so she could become a apprentince.

As Eveningmist finished speaking, she briefly gazed around the clearing, unsure of what to do next. As she looked around, a small movement caught her eye. Shadowkit jumped. He hadn't realized Eveningmist had finished talking, and walked over to him. "Uhh... I wans't I was just... watching, well, listening to you." He stammered. "I think its so cool how you're deputy." He mewed shyly.

Tinypaw had had a cold, lonely, Lit-less night alone in the apprentice's den. Also Chiccymama was gone.. it turned out apprentices didn't sleep with each other. He'd approached one and began to nose under them, but they gave him a horrible whap on the nose, and he'd run away to his own nest. God, he really missed Lit, even if it didn't show. Hearing thumps on the ground(like a rabbit! with their big feet!), Tiny had rushed out, spotting Gravehound's fluffy head floating above the other nonfluffy noggins. It was sad, really. How nondescript and plain their heads were. He felt bad for them.

Even though his head-fur was super flat too.

He crouched low to the ground, making his way through the swarm of cats in the clearing. A small burst of giggles spurted from the young tom while a fire danced inside his eyes. As Tinypaw popped next to Gravehound, he gave his mentor a big, sweet, sincere smile. His smile could win awards, it was so cute.. or he thought. But was it cute? Maybe. Probably. Suddenly self conscious of his grin, the young tom dropped it off of his face and instead began to sign. 'Hi!' - a wave of his paw - 'Okay!' - a quick nod - 'Let's go!' - an indication towards the camp entrance/exit.

A little laugh of amusement bubbled up out of the elderly molly's mouth. "Oh of course my little dear. What kind of story would you like to hear from this old heap of fur? Might not be as embellished as my mate's but trust me, I still got plenty." She purred, resting her head on her forelegs.

The newest elder stretched at the first light of crack of dawn, bones popped and a yawn escaped her maw. Smacking her lips a few times Hiddenflame's body went on auto-pilot and padded to the fresh-kill pile.

A silent o rested upon the mollys mouth, she was an elder now...an old cat. Today was her first day of retirement. Her determination to work hard today melted and diminished; what was she going to do? Green-yellowish eyes shifted left to right, what was she going to do? What do elders do?
Well that's simple, they sit on their lazy asses and complain about everything
A short snort was huffed out of her nose as she amused herself with her own answer. As much as she enjoyed getting on others that didn't seem productive enough for Hiddenflame. She was now a toy on a shelf with no purpose.

Oooooh Gravehound had the cutest apprentice in existence! It probably not the most perfect thing to teaching but he just couldnt help but shower the tiny tom in affection for it. Swooping down to rub his head on the apprentices all over and briefly took a moment to groom the happy little things ears to perfection before he turned and bounded out of the camp waving his tail like a flag like deer sometimes did as he moved out into the territory to the safe prescouted location he'd found for Tinypaw to learn.
