Sunstripe sniffed in the air, looking for a bird. Sensing one not to far away, he motioned with his tail for Iciclepaw to follow him before leaping unto the brush. He crouched low and watched as a dove pecked at the ground. Oh a nice treat, they rarely ventured far from the twoleg's and their slop. He stalked forward in robotic motions, careful of where he was putting his paws, until he was about 2 1/2 tail-lengths from the bird. It was still pecking at the ground when he sprang up to where the bird would be when it flew upwards. As he sprang the bird began to fly upwards and right into his jaws. As he landed he quickly gave the killing bite and looked up at iciclepaw. "Just like that." he mewed, licking his chops and then going to clean his paws.

"Okay," Stormpaw waited before lunging at Gingerpaw's neck.

This time, Gingerpaw was more prepared and slipped to the side, evading her attack. He swiped at her flank as she went past.

Stormpaw flew past Gingerpaw and landed on her side, "Ow..."

Gingerpaw, seeing her fall to the ground, grunted in triumph. He was about to go on the attack when he heard her grunt in pain. He stumbled to a halt beside Stormpaw. "Are you alright?" he asked quickly.

"Alright." Gingerpaw stepped away from her and dropped into a battle crouch. He tried to be focused, but he didn't want to get Stormpaw actually hurt. He rose up onto his hind legs, swinging his front paws at her ears.
