Re: ShadowClan Clearing
[In reply to:]Honeybranch spun around as she heard Heronback's deep voice, a delighted expression on her face. "Heronback!" She squealed a little higher and girlier than she had meant. As soon as she had gushed out his name, the ginger molly's ear tips turned red. "I mean um, hello Heronback." She purred, awkwardly trying to cover it up. Her heart leapt as she gazed at the tuxedo patterned tom with his enchanting blue eyes. "You look happy today...anything happenned during your patrol?" She glanced at the bountiful prey pile and wrinkled her nose at the bird Heronback had caught. Who brought that in? That wouldnt make a meal for even a mouse!" She sniffed haughtily, accidentally insulting him. Honeybranch turned back to him with a bright smile. "Well, whatever you brought in I'm sure will make a great meal. Is that what you're happy about?" She asked, tickling his chin with her tawny tail.
His tail waved happily in the air as he wasn't too afraid to show his one friend that he was happy to see her. He gazed into her shining eyes nearly getting lost in them and almost missing what she had said. "Oh right..." His ears flattened as he glanced over his shoulder at the fresh-kill pile and remembered how the hunt went. The fur on his shoulders bristled for a moment when she had unintentionally insulted his hunting skill. Heronback knew he wasn't very good at it at all but what she had said made him heat up for a moment. She didn't mean it! Honeybranch had no idea that was my prey. He blinked the thoughts away from his mind and gave her a calm smile but his dark eyes were studying her carefully as if he were constantly thinking. "I don't really want to remember that hunt." Heronback came out sounding more snarky and grumpy than intended. His ear flicked trying to change the subject, "Do you maybe want to come hunting with me again? The pile could always do with more prey."

At the small gossip about the warrior turning into a queen, he grunted a bit, not seeming to take much interest at all, he had no opinion on the subject his tail flicking dismissively as it was brought up. "Yes, now would be an acceptable time. Would you prefer to lead or me?" Questioned the tom, following along at a decent pace, though as there usually was, there was a slight limp to his pace, nothing that really hindered him all too much, it was just a small, tiny lurch, hardly noticeable, all because of that long scare along his left shoulder where the fur would never grow.
{Oh nice!}

"Well, if you want to be a gentlecat then be my guest." she said, giving off a slight bored tone. She wasn't easily impressed, but she still liked it when people tried. Badgersong didn't seem that one to try, but she still let him be him, not minding whether he was going to ramble the whole day, or just remain silent. She didn't care. She flicked her tail, and walked into the territory.
{To the territory? lol}

(( @Leaf )) "Yeah. I wish I had a dark pelt. I can only hide when it snows." She looked up. "I should go, I'm supposed to return to camp with prey before sun-high."

Re: ShadowClan Apprentices' Den
Ravenpaw quietly lied down in her nest, awaiting the return of her mentor. She hoped the hunting trip wouldn't take too long, but she wasn't entirely sure. She shifted, thinking about what could have happened. But surely he would be all right? After all, this was her first day of training.

Mulberrykit Sat up and looked at Mossflight, eyes still wide and her head tilted. "What's a fresh kill?"

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Exiting the apprentices' den out of boredom, Ravenpaw heard the question. "Fresh-kill is prey caught by the warriors and apprentices. You eat it. Most is very good," she informed the kit.

"Woah! You can eat stuff?" Mulberrykit pricked her ears and stood up, scampering around. "What's it taste like? I only eat milk! And where does it come from? The ground?" She stopped and looked down. "Is there food down there? And what's a kill? What's prey? Is that stuff from the ground, too?"

Ravenpaw flicked her ears in amuzement. "It's hard to explain the taste. Prey mates just like cats do, and they have kits of their own that grow up. And yes, in a sense it does come from the ground. That's where it lives. It comes above ground to find things for it to eat like nuts and berries. A kill is when a warrior catches prey for the Clan to eat," she paused for a breath, then added, "There's a lot to learn, even when you're not an apprentice yet!"

She had seen her mentor at the ceremony but he hadn't really said anything. Then he padded off without waiting for her. Mistpaw spotted Foxspring sitting there, waiting for her. "Hi Foxspring!" Mistpaw started, excitement in her words. "Can we go see the territory? I've never seen it!" Mistpaw continued enthusiastically. "Squirrelleap never let me beyond the camp" Mistpaw remarked. The young she cat wondered if Foxspring knew about her blind eye. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Either way he would find out eventually. And Mistpaw hoped he wouldn't be disgusted with her for having a blind eye. Afterall the loss of sight from her eye wasn't her fault. It was just the way she was born.

[I forgot about this RP x.x Sorry it took so long for a reply]
Foxspring huffed at his new apprentice's reaction. Obviously this she-cat didn't know anything about him. Although on the bright side, the apprentice wasn't scared of his appearance. He looked just like a smaller fox minus the long muzzle. Most felines were always shocked or act differently towards him. It almost surprised him that Mistpaw wasn't the least bit phased by it. "Hello Mistpaw," he spoke. His deep voice was calm although just as always, there was a hint of a growl located somewhere within his voice. He watched the apprentice with cautious eyes, taking in anything he could notice about her. Foxspring noticed that one of her eyes were strange. It almost seemed like it wasn't there or that she couldn't see well through it. Of course, he wouldn't say anything right now. not until it became a problem or until she sad something about it herself. "What makes you assume apprenticeship is all about being out in the territory?" the warrior asked. Nothing in his tone or optics gave away he was simply challenging her, wanting to know her personality a bit better.

@ EliteHotDog Ebonypaw nodded. "Ok. Bye," he said before starting to look for something else to do.
