Foxblaze peaked into the apprentice den, now where was her apprentice. It seemed they’d gotten away from her. Or she’d gotten away from them. No matter, they needed to be trained. And she would train them. Spotting them, she batted their head, “Time to go sleepy head. We’ve got work to do.”

Lizardpaw lifted her sharp face tiredly. She hadn't been able to sleep well. Ever since moving back in, her sleep was terrible. She shook the moss of her short glossy pelt, strong muscles gleaming.
"Are we going out of camp" she asked hopefully. There was no work in camp and that had been driving her insane.

Foxblaze smiled,”Of course hun. We should head out though, we’re burning daylight.” she mewed looking up at the sky they couldn’t see.

The muscular tuxedo slid out of the den into the outside. She had bags under her eyes and the usual stoic expression, albeit a little broken.
"Ok then." she said calmly.

he smiled he always wanted to know what people look like. He could never tell the difference between a pretty she-cat or a not so pretty one. Then again why did it matter

"Oh. That's.. kinda cool I guess", she said, unsure of what to say. She was expecting something a bit more interesting, but he was colorblind. If you can't see colors, what else are you supposed to see.

He hated this. He absolutely hated this. Why was he even doing this in the first place? What in the name of all things good had compelled him to want to... he couldn't even finished the thought without wrinkling his nose in disgust. Whatever it was, he hoped it would go away soon. The last thing he wanted was to grow a soft spot for an apprentice, especially this nosy one.

Peeking his head into the den, Kestrelwing caught the scent of the cat he was looking for. It was fresh, and as he let his eyes adjust he spotted her sitting towards the back. He knew it was late and she was probably getting ready to sleep, but none of that came to him as he scooted forward. "Peonypaw, right?" he asked, his voice gruff so that he had to clear his throat after.
