Eaglesong blinked at the newly named medicine cat. 'Icicleripple... It suits her...' her thoughts went on to the omen her had mentioned. 'River of red... blood... and death...' She sighed and looked up at the sky. "Oh Starclan, why must this happen?"

However, the news of Eveningstar - and more obviously Sunhowl - going missing made him fear what would happen. Without a leader, or a deputy, the Clan could go into turmoil. He couldn’t let the Clan go into turmoil. At least Icicleripple could show some sort of guidance to the situation.

But an omen? What could it possibly mean? Chaos and justice to shred certainly didn’t sound good by their standards. He was no medicine cat like Icicleripple - he didn’t understand it.

He muttered to himself. “What in… what does it mean…?”

Tripleaf was worried so he rhymed that too: “Blood is gushing, a river of red, claws are shredding, cats are dead, It’s time to go on and war a war that’ll never end.” he joked sarcastically.

Too engrossed with the disaster that was happening beside him, the Warrior had failed to notice a clanmate staring right at him. Which was odd, he was never one for attention and to be quite frank, hated being surrounded by so many other's. Most of the time he could tell almost right away when someone's had their eyes on him, though due to a Warrior seemingly sassing an Elder and another Warrior he hadn't even realized it until the she-cat spoke to him.

Ears flicked, and he let out a low grunt of surprise, though with it being monotone it barely came off as a surprised noise. Sharp blue eyes flickered with annoyance once they landed on the other sitting beside him. "Yep." he deadpanned, tail flicking to the mess that was happening on the other side of him, keeping his gaze steady on his clanmate.

Irritation had already been bubbling in Spiderthroat's belly, tail flicking with more aggressiveness now as it thwacked against the ground. Other than his tail, his face held no emotion. Ears quivered as he heard a Warrior speak up, and that just about did it. Taking in a deep breath and letting out a sigh the Calico directed his gaze to Tripleaf. "Maybe if you shut up she'll tell you." he gruffed. "Pointless war...let's just rethink that real quick and recall why exactly we're on bad terms with Riverclan. First, they blamed us for the death of one o' their clanmates. Secondly, their former leader managed to break into the Clearing and not only gravely injure most o' our warriors but kill at least one er two in the process." at this point the Warrior had his head tilted upwards, looking down at the other warrior. "Calling this war pointless means you're calling your clanmates injuries and deaths pointless."

That was it. “I’m not following, every one of the perpetrating cats are dead, so you then proceed to wreak havoc on all the clan, even if they did nothing wrong? That logic seems screwy to me as well as the fact that if war breaks out, many others will die in a pointless war that doesn’t solve much, and if we go on there is still multiple enormous holes in this plan.” He said snarkily and stared at him, daring him to continue.

When the initial cries of dissenting cats reached Whitewolf's ears, she simply turned to face them with disappointment etched into her face. Sourapple and Tawnybird were already dealing with the missing cats who'd decided to come back...and it wasn't surprising to her that Eveningstar had abandoned them. He'd already failed to handle everything there was, anyway.

Whitewolf decided she'd had enough as the arguing and whining continued, fur bristling, she rounded on the three cats who couldn't keep their mouths shut. "Fernpaw, Spiderthroat, and Tripleaf, are you at the Thunderwillow to talk or are you here to listen?" she scolded coldly. "You can discuss your opinions after the meeting is over. ThunderClan's full Medicine Cat is speaking and you will show her your utmost respect."

While those three cats had thoroughly disappointed her there wasn't much she could do about it aside from that. But if they realized how difficult it was for Icicleripple to stand before her Clan to speak after no Deputy had been appointed and their Leader and Medicine Cat had both gone missing, they might have the good sense to heed her words.

"Guys Riverclan may not the thing that made them go missing." Leafwind mewed "Right now, we need to keep Thunderclan look like nothing happened because if they did not do it they can't know about it."

Hawkice was shooken. Just a few days ago Eveningstar had given him his warrior name! How could he be gone now?! Then there was the omen. Gushing, rushing river of red - time has come for chaos and justice had shred. In his mind, that meant only one thing. Riverclan was going to attack. Hawkice sighed. Why, why did Riverclan keep blaming Thunderclan for everything? Thunderclan was staying as peaceful as they could! If anything they should be the ones attacking Riverclan! After all, they killed their former leader! "What do you think that means, Icicleripple?" Hawkice mewed. "I have an idea of my own..."

"Does that mean Riverclan? Or just an attack, since it doesn't specifically say riverclan, just a river of red, like a lot of blood..." Adderpaw thought outloud. She then shrank down when eyes turned to her, realizing she had actually said those words.

Whatever he hissed with a flick of his tail. Our leader abounded us without leaving any deputy to take over after him. He turned back towards Icicleripple. Who is gonna lead Thunderclan, she?. He mewed with a snort, he didnt like the idea of Thunderclan being without a good leader, he hadnt really liked Eveningstar, in his opinion Sunclaw would have been better but at least Eveningstar wasnt just a medicine-cat.
