Timberpaw sat down beside the she cat, his green hues glancing over at her with a semi-worried expression. "Oh, I see...well, hopefully no one really notices. I don't think anyone's paying much attention at the moment," Timberpaw mewed with a final cautious glance around. He was worried that someone might end up turning Apurva in, for reasons that would most likely be unknown to him. "But just to be on the safe side...you haven't- spoken to anyone, have you?" He asked, realizing that she would probably be much safer if she kept her identity hidden. Besides, there was no telling what these cats might decide to do with her, and Timberpaw would hate to see his friend get hurt. "Oh, well...remember I was telling you about all the different positions in the Clan and everything? Well we have a new leader...his name is Ratnight. Some cats like him, some don't. Some don't really have an opinion on him. Ashstar, our old leader is dead now...and I agreed more with him, but I suppose Ratnight could make a good leader, his beliefs are just questionable. I guess Ashstar died in the fire or something, and I suppose Ratnight was appointed leader, but I just don't see that happening...it's...very strange. Not everyone believes the story." Timberpaw explained, his worried green hues looking around at the other cats. He didn't like seeing the Clan torn apart like this. When Ashstar was alive, this had never happened. Now it seemed that they were dividing over the new leader, beliefs, and fears. He could only hope that this wouldn't last long. Perhaps someday, the Clan would reunite and forget about their separate beliefs or something, hopefully allowing ThunderClan to become stronger once more and not only that, but maybe someday Ratnight would see that it was better to believe in their warrior ancestors. Timberpaw curled his tail around his paws, almost wrapping himself in as though to try and get away from the rest of the Clan.

Apurva blinked, then gave him a nervous half smile. “I did talk to one or two cats, but that was during the fire and the rain, and only one of them knows I'm here.” she meowed rather sheepishly. She glanced around. There seemed to be some kind of tension in the air. She knew that it would eventually snap, and fights would break out. If it wasn't stopped, massive fights, battles, death. If it wasn't stopped, that would be the only way to stop it, and the tensions were so great that she doubted fights were avoidable. She looked down at her paws. “But it's fine. Nobody else seems to notice, and it's better than being somewhere else. Except maybe TwolegPlace. I might be safe there. She thought, then shook her head to clear her thoughts. The black red and white molly wasn't sure what she was supposed to do, or what was the best thing to do. Apurva wondered how things were going to work out, and she almost wondered if she'd ever survive this, and what she'd chosen to do would eventually lead to her death. She flicked her tail, annoyed with herself. She shouldn't be thinking about these things. They were beyond her control, so why worry about them until there was something she could do. She dropped into a half crouch, tucking her forepaws under her chest and tensing her hind legs in case she had to leap up and run at any moment. She decided it was better to be safe than sorry, as sorry would fix nothing, and safe could stop the problem at its roots. “Are you hurt? Or will you be aslright?” she asked, though uncertain if that was the right things to to ask him, but it was too late to take back those words, so she waited, letting them hang in the air until her answered her.

The blind tom slowly stopped proding his apprentice, satified when he checked the wounds that Northpaw had mentioned. He chewed a small bit of comfrey he had and placed the poultice on the burn wound, just in case. The tom pressed his nose to Northpaw's shoulder for a moment, letting his worry slip away. "I might have to start following you around like a mother duck..." He murmured, pulling away. The tom began to sort the herbs again, his paws quick and efficient.

"Surgestorm's territory caught on fire as well, so we should probably visit him and make sure things are alright over there..." He suddenly murmured, worried about his WindClan friend. "And we can also make a plan with him about getting the herbs we'll need for winter. It'll most likely involve a trip to see Geckoleaf and Bravestep." He realized for the first time in awhile that they had skipped the last few halfmoons because they had all been so busy. However, now they weren't even allow to go to the Starcave now that Ratnight was leader. Northpaw deserves to get his full medicine cat name... but is that worth breaking the rules to do? He paused in his work, closing his eyes. Northpaw has always been worth it.

After a moment, the tom turned away in a bout of coughing, weezing in air afterwards. "Just smoke inhalation..." He murmured, finally answering his apprentice's question about his health. He hadn't wanted to worried Northpaw, but now it had given itself away. "I couldn't get used to not having to scent the air in order to know where I was going, so I kept doing that on accident and kept sucking in more smoke. I had one of the warriors help me find my way out of camp, so I wasn't burnt or anything." The older tom took a shaky breath in and let it out, his throat aching in protest.

Stormpaw averted her blue hues from his gaze, looking anywhere but at the tom. She was a little nervous, as she always was when talking to a new cat. Although she shouldn't be quite as worried about talking to him, she had rescued him after all, and he had come to thank her...that showed that he was a decent cat and not someone who she should be really nervous around after all."Hm? Oh, I would say a good few more moons...I'm not exactly the best cat to become a warrior," She laughed a little nervously. "I tend to be a little clumsy sometimes." She finished with a shrug, shifting her weight a little uncomfortably. Why'd I tell him that? Oh well, not like it matters- he seems friendly enough, surely he won't just randomly change his personality now, right? The silver apprentice thought, allowing her blue hues to stray back to Hiddenpaw. "And you?" She asked politely, wondering whether she was doing the right thing by doing so. After all, his injury looked pretty painful and like something that might keep him from training.

"Ha. Give me a chance and I will!" He purred boastfully, the young tom puffing his chest out in a regal manner, his expression more prideful than before. A small smirk came onto the tom's features, although he was partly hiding it. "Humph. Or maybe I'll be showing you new moves. Ones you've never heard of before! And I'll be able to sneak up on you for the rest of your life- payback for this," The tom purred, his ebony pelt catching the light and making it shine in a quite unnatural manner. He didn't like it when it did that; it made him feel strange, as though there were something wrong with him. "Hm. Well, I think he could make ThunderClan stronger...I mean, his beliefs are a little questionable but he looks like he might at least be able to make us rise above the other Clans. Right?" Dragonkit asked the last part mainly to himself, as though thinking out loud. His black tail twitched back and forth and his expression became more thoughtful as he spoke. "Anyway, what do you want to talk about- or do- now?" He asked. The conversation at hand was not the best for a developing friendship, especially since their beliefs might vary, and he wouldn't want to upset Echokit- not after having come this far in their friendship.

Hawkfeather sat in the clearing, the tabby's blue hues looking out over it. Her expression was pretty thoughtful, and her stance seemed to radiate confidence and friendliness. She looked as though she could never be upset, at least at that particular moment in time she did. The tip of her tail began to twitch back and forth a little worriedly, although her expression and stance did not betray any of her inner worries. The tabby's hues sparkled for a moment before going back to their original friendly stance, and she dipped her head in greeting to other cats walking by her. Her tail continued to move at a rapid speed, and she seemed almost kit-like in the joy that she took at doing so. It was a little weird for her to be acting so kit-like, but then again perhaps it wasn't. Hawkfeather was always doing semi-odd things like that, and she was especially fond of doing things that made other cats so confused. She liked saying that this was one of "her things," something that she did.

Northpaw offered a smile when his mentor finally stepped back and had ended his worried prodding. He watched as Zerosight grabbed some comfrey for his burn He was about to tell his mentor not to both with him - their clanmates may need the herbs more than he did - but the medicine cat was already chewing the leave up into a pulp and applying them to the apprentice. "Thanks," he breathed as he felt the herbs on his burnt leg. He let his amber gaze slip towards the herbs behind Zerosight, trying to figure out if they had enough comfrey and other herbs to last them for a bit. Though he doubted it.

He gave a little blush as his mentor stated that he was going to have to follow him around like a mother duck. "I don't think that's necessary," he mumbled embarrassed. He had to admit that these moons spent with Zerosight training and bonding has made him see the older tom as kind of like a parents. "I'm not a helpless kit..." he glanced away, but gave a small smile. He was separated from his family at such a young age and hadn't enough time to get truly close to them like he felt towards Zerosight. And in a way it was nice to see how worried and caring his mentor was towards him as well.

His eyes widened when Zerosight turned to continue sorting through the herbs and mentioned that Windclan had also been scorched by flames. "Oh no," he breathed, looking scared. How many clans were affect? "I-Is Suregestorm okay? Was he hurt during the fire?" Even if they hadn't spoke much and only saw each other at gathers, he like the lovable and happy young medicine cat of Windclan. Northpaw hoped that Windclan didn't get it bad, nor the other clans, and that everyone would be fine. Part of him even started to think about Dapplestar - it was during the fire that Ratnight had become leader through circumstances he still doubted, and hoped that they same did not happen to Windclan's leader.

The dark tabby's ears perked when Zerosight suggested that they team up with Surgestorm to go ask Bravestep and Geckoleaf about offering them some herbs for leaf-bare. "If they weren't affected by the fire than I'm sure they
ll be able to spare some for us and Surgstorm," he wondered how much they will have to spare. Hopefully just enough... having extra herbs for back up isn't a luxury we can have at this time. "But the clan will be fine, right? I mean, not just herbs but also for prey... we're strong... right?" Worry clear in his autumn shaded gaze.

Though his worry shifted a bit when his mentor broke into a coughing fit. "Zero!" He stepped forward, his gaze wide. His tail twitched when Zerosight attempted to comfort him by shrugging it off as nothing. Northpaw furrowed his brows and listened to Zerosight's quick story about how he got out of the fire and inhaled so much smoke. "I should've been there with you, should've made sure you got out.... Stop this, I'll sort through the herb, you should rest and not busy yourself since it'll just make it worse," he laid his charcoal tail on the dark tom's shoulder's, trying to gently herd him towards his nest. He felt so guilty about not helping his mentor out of camp during the fire, mad he let them get separating in the frenzy.

Leafkit shivered as the cold leaf-fall wind seeped into his fur, chilling his bones. Rain splashed on his nose, as he pawed at a pebble, not seeming quite interested in playing without someone playing with him as, he didn't want anyone to be left out. Playing would get him warm, anyone with enough sense knew that, but is it really any fun without someone else to play with? His brown and dark gray splotched tabby tail twitched, making a bit of mud fly in the process. His leaf green orbs looked thoughtful,as they usually always did. Leafkit lowered his head, staring at the light grey pebble, it was his very favorite one, one that would round, not sharp, and didn't cut his paws like one did last moon, the tom kit thought with a slight annoyance, he created alot of fuss for ONE scratch, but at least Zerosight was able to heal the it, a sigh of final relieve escaped the small kit, and he looked more mature than most kits. Leafkit clumsily sat down, wincing at the hard landing. Ow.

Pondkit and Twilightkit huddled under Fireclaw. Twilightkit the one that could not stay in one place, glanced around the clearing looking for someone to play with. She saw Leafkit, and nodiced he was alone. Twilightkit grinned, she knew he would want to play, and he looked bored, and cold. So to warm her up and went away from Fireclaw and Pondkit and stalked behind Leafkit, and when she was behind him, she pounced on him giggling.

"Hey!Get out of my territory you rabbit chaser!" Leafkit bared his
fangs in play, grinning, trying to tell her he was playing, or..trying
to at least..tried to. The brown and dark gray splotched tabby tom
kit went into a position, bracing himself for another fake attack
from Twilightkit.

Leafkit thoughtful leaf green orbs widened playfully. "I may,or I may not.." He calmly spoke back, tail lashing behind him, studying the she kit, and jumping to the side to avoid the kit, but her paws touched his side,making him wince slightly, but not for long, he knew it was a fake hit. He lashed out,paws scraping at Twilight's leg, with a fierce expression on his maw. This was great practice for the young tom kit, for one day, these skills would be used for real battle, real fighting,and REAL wounds to think about. The thought of bleeding made the tom kit slightly shiver, but he hid it, and instead focused on fake attacking the 'windclan warrior'.

Twilightkit made a fake meow of pain, but only a small one and she turned around and focused. The shekit circled the tomkit thinking of something to do next. " This is going to be really helpful when i'm a warrior one day." Twilightkit thought and continued to circle him,her blue eyes studying him
