ThunderClan: Life Before 2023's Sinkhole

Yarrowshade stalked over. This time, she was slightly interested. Just in case that WindClan brat had somehow made contact with Aspenstar that fast and complained.


Rosepaw walked over nervously. Hopefully no falling snakes this time.

The black Warrior padded up to the Warrior, curious. Gazing up at Aspenstar, she wondered what it was for. Apprentice-Mentor assignments, certainly, at least a few. It seemed common for Mentors to go missing. Maybe some Apprentices would become Warriors, or kits to Apprentices. Maybe some other important announcement - that certainly seemed pretty plausible.

The little kit bounded over to the meeting with excitement, stumbling over for parts of it. I know I won't be an Apprentice yet, but WHAT IF I AM THAT WOULD BE SO AMAZING!!

~Mistpaw~

Mistpaw had just exited the medicine cat's den and was in the process of rolling the old ball of moss to the edge of camp when she heard Aspenstar's call. Glancing quickly between the Thunderwillow and the edge of camp, she quickly decided to just run the moss outside, shred it, and get back to the meeting as quickly as possible.

Picking up the pace, she batted the moss outside before ripping it apart and scattering the remains outside the camp walls (thoroughly making a mess of herself in the process). Once that had been taken care of she quickly padded back to the gathering of cats near the base of the Thunderwillow.

Taking a seat off to the side, Mistpaw noticed the bits of moss and dust coating her paws and began to groom herself. However, it seemed the more she looked, the more dirt and debris she found coating her pelt from her rushed moss-job. Heaving a sigh, she began the arduous task of cleaning up her fur making sure to keep her ears perked up for whatever Aspenstar had to say.

Padding out from the warriors den, the lithe she-cat gave her pelt a shake before padding out to see what this most recent meeting was about. Winding between the smattering of cats already gathered there, Sparrowflight took a seat near to the front of the crowd before looking around to give a smile and nod of greeting to her clanmates.

A certain surly looking apprentice at the back of the crowd caught her eye, and she offered a gentle smile and a flick of her tail to the young cat before turning back to face her leader. If they wanted to interact she would leave the invitation open, but she wouldn't force them to offer any sort of greeting back in response.

Hopefully, this meeting would be interesting.

rainypaw shuffled near the thunderwilow.
sagekit sat at the nursery entrance, listening.

Shadowheart sat in front of the Thunderwillow.
Mosspaw approached and sat.
Brightkit bounded up towards the Thunderwillow and plopped on her haunches.
Antkit slinked up and sat outside the nursery.

He bounded over, taking a seat. He spotted Mosspaw, an old idol, he padded over to him, sitting down. "Hey Mosspaw! How ya' doin?" He grinned, tail flicking. They were both apprentices, finally, and he wanted Moss to see how much he'd grown.

Jaykit peeks out of the Nursery and tries to find Crowpaw. Or another apprentice to talk to. The shy kit doesn't feel cofortable around other cats - eccept if they are cats who will be nice to him and accept him.

Meeting, meeting, meeting, how fun! Things were more fun when there was no fighting, Aspenstar was such a good leader. She was good, so was Dogbark. Well, Dripberry thought most cats were 'good' but they were more good, had to be hard to be in their positions right now, which was why Dripberry wanted to help. He wasn't as smart as them but he was a good listener, not everything needed fast thinking, or just good thinking at all.

Not smart listening started with the meeting, so the light coloured tom bounded his way over to the Thunderwillow and plopped himself down at a great spot in the front, staring eagerly up at the leader above.
