Primrosepaw´s ears perked up at the sound of Stormstar´s call. This was it! She´d become a warrior today!

Giving her thick fur a quick grooming, the small-statured apprentice slunk out of the apprentices´ den and strode over to Adderstrike´s side, emerald hues glittering with excitement; though she had forced her fur to stay flat in an effort to remain professional. That was what Stormstar would want her to do.

She sat down beside her mentor, rolling her shoulders and holding her head high. Primrosepaw waved a greeting to Drizzlepaw with her tail.

Adderstrike walked over to the meeting spot and wondered what was going on. There was always something that was going on around here. She tried to pretend that Jayfrost's death wasn't real but she had to accept it. She was going to miss their friendship, the playful teasing and what not. She did look up to the grumpy cat but now he was gone. Before she could dwell on these thoughts too long, Primrosepaw walked over to her with her beaming eyes.

A warm smile came to Adderstrike's face seeing her apprentice in such high spirits. It was time for her to get her warrior name after all! And if she didn't get it.... Oh... Oh stars above... She gave Primrosepaw a small head bump just to show her how happy she was for the apprentice.

Seabreeze pulled himself out of the warrior's den at the call of his leader and man he never in his life has ever wanted to be leader, but he certainly didn't envy Stormstar now. He couldn't imagine the stress on her shoulders, but at least the otters were dealt with which is one more thing she didn't have to worry about. Perhaps Seabreeze could talk to Owltalon about some here and there's that the clan may need that Seabreeze could take care of for the high ranks. Though maybe he wouldn't be trusted to do so anymore because of the whole demotion thing.

He sighed, and winced as his shoulders burned at the movement of walking. The otters really got him... well at least he isn't dead... as much as he may wanna be sometimes. He finds a spot and looks up at his leader, she didn't look too great herself. But she was alive, and that was pretty much the bar for Riverclan leaders nowadays. Stay alive and actually do your job. You would think that that's a low bar but you'd be surprised.
