A little late the young kit ran over to his family. He sat down, looking around to see if he could find his biological father. He would probably be disappointed in him for being late, but Fumblekit had no idea he had been technically been disowned. "Did I miss anything?", he asked anyone who heard. Hopefully he hadn't missed out anything important.
On a really good stride on here and Barleypaw is really close to getting her post counts finished for her training. If there is anyone who needs a cat to help with anything feel free to VM or pm. I want her to be more active along her clanmates.
The white and black queen purred as their newest adopted kit came up, and swept him to their side with their tail. "Hello Fumblekit. No, you didn't miss anything, sweetheart." Storm purred to the kit, licking his ear. Oh, how they loved all their kits! So cute.
Wildfoxglove heard a voice from beside her and moved her head to look at Irisfrost. Yes, it was true that these two cats had not interacted at all up until this very moment. She blinked and meowed, "Hello there. I'm fine, thank you. How about you, fellow clanmate?" Wildfoxglove did not know her name but she recognized her.
"That's good to hear," Irisfrost said. "I'm well too." She was well if you didn't consider the nights when she couldn't sleep, staring up at the roof of the warrior's den and thinking about the Starcave's collapse. She was a religious cat, and the news had shaken her more than she liked to admit. But while she was still troubled by it, she slept fine most nights now. And besides, that wasn't the sort of thing you shared in a casual conversation with a cat you didn't know well.
"Has anything interesting happened recently?" Irisfrost asked after a moment of silence. There wasn't much more she could talk about, not with how little she knew Wildfoxglove. Maybe she would reveal she had found a mate or gotten an apprentice, and they could talk about that. If she didn't, well, this conversation was only really filling in time until the meeting started.

No. And that made Floodsight scoff a small laugh. It was such a brisk and blunt answer, yet she'd found it oddly amusing how straightforward Duskclaw was. "You can say that again. With how many kits there are running around, we'd need expansions to all the dens."
The chitter chattering of the little ones warmed her heart and it made her wonder if she'll get a new apprentice this moon. Afterall, the weather is getting warmer and it would certainly be easier to train without the cold, snow and ice stopping them. The silver she-cat took a pause before trying to fill in the gaps of their conversation. She'd never been the best at socializing, but she sure do try and put her best paw forward. "On the brighter side, the weather's warmer, the river has thawed and we get our fish back. Care to go fishing somedays?"
It didn't take long for a familiar grey kittenpelt became visible in the crowd, and Asterfly smiled down at her daughter as Mintkiit came to her paws. "There you are, love." Her blue-green eyes shifted to the small down her daughter was carrying, and she gave it a little sniff (inspecting it with the curiosity a mother ought to have when her child showed her something) before following Mintkit's gaze over the gathering cats.
"It's a meeting, yes. This is where the clan leader reports new to the clan, and ceremonies take place here - you and your brother will sit under that very ridge in two moons' time to recieve your apprentice-names." Asterfly checked on her son where she saw him walking between the gathered cats. He had seen her, knew that she was here in case he needed something. "You don't have to be here if you don't want to-" her attention was back to Mintkit- "but since you two are getting older, I thought it would be suitable for you to know what's going on in the clan."
