Grovekit was a litttle surprised by Mudhound being named a Hornet, with how they'd been acting during the meeting — that was to say, like a weirdo. But she knew the leader knew best, so she just shrugged.

Her attention was then caught by Bumblestar's mentioning apprentices who wanted to be Hornets. Her eyes widened as she thought about how cool that would be. Sure, her own apprenticeship was a ways off, and she wouldn't be a warrior until even longer after that, but wouldn't it be so cool if she was a Hornet? She pictured it — it was very appealing.

Well Bumblestar was certainly going off. Tansyjaw was, for once, inclined to pity their leader somewhat. If their clanmates were truly so idiotic, bringing outsiders back to camp, I mean REALLY how dense could you get there wasn´t much their leader could do about the dropping standards. The standards had probably been dropping before this occasion, perhaps as a cause of Bumblestar´s lax attitude towards clan-hoppers (hello Violetfreckle) but this one couldn´t really be on her. It was good to see some turnover in the Hornets as well. Though Tansyjaw wasn´t particularly familiar with Mudhound or Redhawk neither of them seemed particularly useless, so it would be an improvement of some degree. And both seemed willing to tell of the idiot that was Sunglow, so perhaps their was some merit to their selection. Ugh. This whole.......giving credit to cats she wasn´t a huge fan of was getting irritating. But the meeting seemed to be wrapping up, so hopefully there wouldn´t be any more of it. (Don´t mind Tansy´s meanness, she´s being grumpy!)

Turning as a paw tapped her, Redhawk beamed down at Foxpaw as her apprentice joined her. It was getting easier to read and understand her apprentice's gestures, and she had been working on hers in the meantime. "Of course! I'll make ss-sure to train you really good, so t-that one day you can be a hornet with me." She fully believed that, reaching down to lick the top of Foxpaw's head. With the right training she could be up there alongside Red.

"After t-this meeting, I want to speak with Bumblestar for a m-moment but after we can do some battle t-training, alright?" Foxpaw would need it, incase tensions with the other Clans continued to rise how they had been.

Foxpaw listened closely as redhawk spoke, her smile widened as redhawk licked her head. She continue to listen to redhawk before gesturing in reply”I wanna be the best warrior and hornet the clan has ever seen!!” she gestured as she stood up and spinned happily as a way to express herself.

[Spookez.]

Flutterminnow nodded. She had no idea what sunglow had done. (Because she doesn't keep up with clan drama.) But she knew Sunglow couldn't be let out the Territory. At least, not by herself.

She glanced around at her fellow clan mates before looking back up at her leader. She had padded over in the middle of the meeting so she was not fully sure what was going on but she was putting together context clues as it went to understand the gist. She narrowed her eyes at the two cats, who had brought attention to themselves and basically interrupted the meeting. It wasn't her place to speak upon it, so she wasn't going to, but it definitely was a sight to behold, especially in the middle of a meeting.

"This argument wouldn't have started if the two newly-named Hornets hadn't decided to come and make it a fight.''

The words of the retreating Sunglow sunk into Redhawk's mind as the reddish-brown feline watched her disappear, followed shortly after by Moontail - but not before she got a final quip in that made Red wince. Should she go in there to stop them? Demand they separate? Was she trying to control something she wasn't suppose to?? Her head whirled with everything happening, and the tingling feeling in her paws was becoming difficult to ignore.

Feeling eyes on her, Red was finally able to turn away and look over towards the cat who was watching her. She managed to catch Violetfreckle's gaze and immediate gratitude poured into her. Maybe that was confirmation that she hadn't been acting out of place? Surely if there was something wrong with what she did, her Clanmates would be staring at her funny and not blinking their encouragement. Regardless, she offered Violetfreckle a soft smile of thanks.

Despite all of that, it was one singular thing that brought her back. Pressing against her side and placing their chin on top of her head, Red immediately relaxed in the presence of Mudhound. She didn't know why but it quieted the whispering voices in her head and dulled the tingle in her paws. It just felt... safe. Similar in ways that Gentledoe had often made her feel, but this was different. Distinctly different. Her heart started to flutter again, warming her pelt, her face, her ears -

Foxpaw next to her gesturing with her paws caught Redhawk's attention and the hornet smiled weakily. "I've got no doubt t-that you will b-be." Curse the darn stuttering that stayed, and the way her paws shook just a bit before remaining still. With Mudhound on one side of her and Foxpaw on the other, she let her tail curl around her apprentice as she continued to lean against the tripod. There wasn't much she could do right now in the way of words - they wouldn't come even if she tried - so she simply nuzzled her head lightly against Mudhound's chin (ignoring the way it quickened their beating heart) in a nonverbal show of gratitude, opening her eyes after a bit and looking back at Bumblestar.

Sunglow glared at Redhawk.

''My tail isn't twisted,'' She spat.

Turning away, the golden warrior stormed off towards the Warriors' Den.

''This argument wouldn't have started if the two newly-named Hornets hadn't decided to come and make it a fight.''

The warrior called back without looking at the two Hornets and slipped inside the den.

After what Bumblestar had just said, Mapledawn shot a look at Sunglow from a distance. She didn't want to walk up and cause any more trouble than there already was, but she was willing to confront Sunglow if it was absolutely neccessary. She wasn't going to let whatever happened the other day happen again, and additionally, there were already cats dealing with SUnglow anyways. She did not need to get involved. But she absolutely would if she found it neccessary.

"Might as well get rid of her at this point..." She muttered under her breath. She usually would not say such things, but it was neccessary. A cat of ThunderClan... villainising her own Clan? That was just unbelievable.

Sproutfleck pricked his ears. Boy, he
wanted to be a Hornet. He wanted to prove to
himself everybody he was worthy and
ready to defend his clan as well as die for his
leader again and again- he was more than ready.
He'd do it right now if given the chance. His
green eyes blazed with undying loyalty up at
Bumblestar, and quickly flicked to Mudhound,
then to Redhawk, offering supportive, helpful
smiles. Then, he looked back up at Bumblestar
again, pleasantly, and dug his long claws deep
into the dirt. He would earn the position of a
Hornet no matter what it took- well, except for
dying, because that meant he wouldn't be a
Hornet anyway. Pfft- stupid. He briefly glanced
at Silverpaw and Sunglow in hidden amusement-
he must support his clan and leader. Whether
Sunglow wanted to be problematic or not, she
ashaming herself wouldn't do any good to help her
reputation- no good at all.
