Snakeheart stood silent for a moment as he processed doing his best to take things in through his rage and think critically. Thing is he didnt disagree with the warrior, Stormtalon had a point and he knew it even if the medicine cats emotions disagreed. Snakeheart wanted there to be a clear target, for one cat to be to blame so he could take action and fix things for once but deep down while he knew Junipersong had royally messed up in her actions this was another one of her unintentionally screw ups not a wider plot. As he said though, act as if this is simple foolishness prepared just in case its not.

"Hm figured this was the case though Im not sure if I hoped she was intelligent enough to realise what this'd cause or not. I suppose that I could start attributing stupidity to my clanmates actions and not maliciousness but that seems both depressing to innately view my clan as idiots across the board and foolish given the gaps such a thought process could create... I hope you understand why I cant allow such gaps with thunderclan."
Why was he even explaining himself here? Snakeheart really rarely felt the need to justify his thought process but maybe it was the cold cool rationality the toms rage brought that pushed him to voice his processes out loud more than normal. Or maybe it was Stormtalon, the medicine cat found himself interacting with cats that got themselves injured a lot and that group werent always the most.... competent. Stormtalong was steady calm and competent in spades and it was relaxing to not have to be the only one thinking critically. In this way the lanky tom was sure the warrior would understand his gripes.

"Peace-" he spat quietly "They talked about peace and this Whitewolf still admitted she was there to take in the scent of their 'enemy'. I dont think there could be a more obvious farce of peace to get our herb and yet Junipersong seems to fall for it, something has to be done about this even if it truely is blind optimism it cant be allowed to continue under these circumstances. I sent your patrol to the border to fleece the area to starve them of herbs and she if unintentionally directly ruined that.... At least its good to know theyre no longer pretending theyre the kind ones here and openly admitting they view us as an enemy, I was tiring of their lies."
This tactically was good for riverclan too. The more blatant thunderclan was about their feelings to the waterborn clan the more the peace makers that still desperately tried to cling to fool ideas. War didnt afford room for soft hearts such things only led to bloodshed. Snakeheart refused to allow riverclan that weakness when he could prevent it entirely.

Stormtalon got a calm nod at his suggestion even as a begrudingly sympathetic twist cast over his blank cold visage. "I support this idea and will pitch it to Kestrelstar when I speak with him as well as some of my suggestions though the final decision is not up to me. Still I see your point even if I do believe a paw needs to be put down, its Junipersong, Kestrelstar knows her better then I Im sure he'll take that into account."
His eyes narrowed for a moment and he cocked his head silently for a long moment staring at Stormtalon before huffing sharply and almost cruelly in laughter.
"Dont be stupid I know youre smarter then this, Ive no doubt with what you've told me and how you are that you did your best to manage the issues. Im not going to punish you here, hell Im more likely to trust you with another patrol really. Im fully aware sometimes even a patrol lead cant fix all issue Ive been on patrols with Blizzardsky before."

StarClan give me strength and patience. Rainstorm thought with an snarky growl. She stretched, then padded to the camp entrance. Do you know the basics or nothing at all?She asked, fully expecting a sassy retort. At a cat your age, you must have a garbage mentor if you can't fish. She muttered, leading the way towards the river with a couple backwards glances to make sure Webpaw was following.

silverpaw sat in the camp clearing watching other apprentices go out with their mentors and wish that she could go hunting to.

Rainstorm exited the warriors den, fluffing out her fur briefly to acclimate to the cool breeze. Luckily, as the day progressed, it would get warmer, and a good thing for that, too, because she planned on fishing today, and cool weather and wet paws did not mix. Now, she might as well make it an all day excursion, and pull an apprentice along with her.

Ah, Silverpaw looked un-busy. Her, then. Silverpaw! You up for some fishing?

Redpaw sat outside the apprentice den, watching as two apprentices bounded past. They seemed to be having... fun?

Frostpaw was cat-watching. It was her favorite pastime. Well, technically it was going up to them and making them feel intimated that was her favorite pastime. Anyway, she was sitting near the fresh-kill pile, eyes narrowed, peering at her Clanmates. She saw Respawn, just sitting there, looking all sad. Perfect prey.

"Hi, Redpaw." She meowed, coming up to him. She knew he couldn't respond. He was mute, right? Frostpaw wondered how he communicated. This would be fun.

The mute apprentice stared at her, not with anger or guilt, but with sadness. If only he could respond.
Raising one paw just barely off the ground, he moved it side to side slightly, forcing a smile.
He was saying hello.
